The Finding of Canon Objects: How does it work?

So I figured that if Mark's ever going to be any good of an archeologist, he'll probably end up finding a few canon items. But unfortunately, I have literally no clue how that's regulated here. So, can anyone fill me in on how that works here?

Check the list. If the item isn't there, find it and sub it. From there do with it what you will

Here are the guidelines and regulations on how to search, dev, sub, then claim a canon item.

A lot of them are currently in the process of being grandfathered into the official list. This ends on Dec 8th before all other unclaimed items are free to anyone to dev to find themselves.

To answer your question: You can do them in any kind of RP thread that is on the board outside of faction forums. So as long as your threads are either in the Open or Private Roleplaying boards you're good. Simply submit your canon item after the thread is completed with the thread as your development thread and once it is approved you can request it be added to the current canon items list, which is currently pinned in the Factory Discussion board.
