The Fire Rises

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn sat, playing with a series of strings in a small cantina on Taris. He continuously twirled the strings and created elaborate shapes of Mandolorian origins. It had been a long time since Jinn had set foot on a Mandolorian world after he was kicked out of the death watch for executing a whole room full of Mandolorain diplomats who the watch wanted alive so they could be corrupted. Jinn decided he wasn't in the mood to wait for a bunch of idiots to sit around picking each others asses trying to decided how much money their loyalty was worth. So he systematically killed each one with his heavy blaster, he could still smell their blood and feel the heat as the back of their heads exploded.

Jinn reminisced as he continued making figures with his string. The Sith was on Taris for one reason, he was waiting to meet with an old friend who had recently risen to the top of the Death Watch. He had sent him a message, telling him that he was on Taris and he wanted to talk over a deal with the Mandolorian. He wasn't sure how the man would react to Jinn's reappearance, especially as a Sith, but once he heard what Jinn had to offer there was no way he could refuse.

@Jin Sibot

RC arrived on Taris hours earlier with his closest warriors and advisors. The team made their way through the busy streets and Rc scanned everything out of habit. The shops were colorful and lush with fruits, and trinkets. It was a dainty little world, but Rc remembered he was on he top level. Here they were rich and RC could see that for certain. Perhaps below they could have fun killing Rakghouls and making money, he mused.

He shrugged the thoughts aside as he went toward the cantina where his contact would be. Jin was a slippery fellow and RC had to keep his wits about him. Still he missed the old fellow and had no idea of his whereabouts or what he was doing. RC had received his message and any help was good help to the Deathwatch so they came. He entered the cantina and scanned the room, quickly identifying threats and exit ways
"Theres our contact." Rc said to the team.

"Lets move in and have a chat shall we?"
"

Akura Yavis

Deathwatch Soldier
Akura moved silently, several steps behind the main group. She doubted anyone on the higher levels would bother them, but she was always alert. They reached the cantina where their contact would be. "It would be best to spread out sir." She whispered to @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="RC 212"] "We attract less attention that way." She scanned the cantina, "These patrons look like the kind of scum that would be watching the bounty list." She warned. Akura motioned to the bar. "Ill be over there." She could use a tihaar to lighten her mood.

"There are plenty of bounties that offer less risk of death. I doubt we'll have any problems." Tyrin mused, entering the tavern behind RC and Akura.

As he entered the bar, he felt a familiar presence. Familiar as in Dark Side of the Force, because Tyrin had no idea who this individual was. Were they picking up another Sith to their motley crew? That would certainly make things interesting. It seemed the Death Watch were going to be very closely tied with the Sith if they kept this course. Perhaps that would offer obstacles in terms to their dethroning of Mandalore, but they would cross that bridge when they came to it. Sith or not, the rise of the Death Watch would be inevitable.

"I'll follow your lead. I think you'll want to handle this one."

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn looked up from his seat as a familiar presence made itself known, RC was a good man and a great fighter. Even though Jinn had barely learned to master the force in his days as Deathwatch member, he could still tell RC was coming a mile away merely because his presence was so strong. There was also a Sith, or at least someone with a dark presence. Well, as long as the man didn't make trouble for Jinn's plan he could care less if we were apart of it or not.

"I see you have not forgotten my face old friend." Jinn mused, his mask taking deep breaths of the air for the man who still played with his strings.

@[member="Tyrin Ardik"] @[member="Akura Yavis"] @RC 212

RC sat down and ignored the waitresses attempt to get him a drink. He was very fixated on Jinns string designs. The cantina was a dark shadowy place and he could sense unease among the patrons. In an attempt to be more secretive RC leaned in over the table, and removed his helmet. The gnarled face of an ARC trooper from many years ago gazed into jinns.
"I haven’t forgot old friend. I also haven’t forgot how dangerous you are, which is to my liking. I need people who are unafraid, unrestricted by bureaucracy. What did you have to talk about Jinn?" RC queried.

Jinn nodded his head, placing the strings in his pocket and leaned in towards the ARC Trooper "I am afraid I'm not here to rejoin the watch...I'm here to offer you a test." Jinn spoke, his eyes locked dead into RC's as his mast growled, bringing in air to force into the Sith's lungs.

RC's hands moved slightly to rest on the butts of his twin verpine shatter guns. He did not release them from their holsters but kept alert. RC growled with frustration. He did not want to have fight break out here and now. He was hoping the test involved other than personal combat.

"If its a fight you want, how bout we take it outside?" RC whispered venomously.

"On the offhand I find it hard to believe you calledme halfway across the galaxy to this shithole of rich and privilliged to fight me"

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn laughed deeply at his friends words, his hand not even bothering to grace his lightsaber that hung on the belt wrapped around his nerf leather jacket. He knew his friend was a good fighter, but with Jinn's powers in the darkside he could easily throw him across the room before the man could get a shot off.

"I do not wish to administer a test of your body RC.... Jinn paused for a second, his eyes drifting to the other members of the watch that RC had brought with him "But of your souls." Jinn hissed ominously as he leaned back in his chair "And your minds and your valor...of your barbarism."

@[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="RC 212"]

RC relaxed a bit. It would seem Jinns intetntion were elswhere and that put the warlords mind at ease. As he waved over the waitress now ordering a drink RC also summoned his Deathwatch crew to the table. With his full circle of warriors he leaned back and took a sip of his Concord Dawn wheat ale. Beer was always a guilty pleasure of his.

"Barabarism eh?" RC commented. Sure he was a pirate, but most likely the least uncouth of them all. RC did not kill if there was no gain to it. Blood cost money, and money was the goal.

"What do you propose the Deathwatch do, and what is the gain from such an activity?"

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn nodded his head slightly, taking a drink from the waitress that he had ordered at the same time as @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="RC 212"] . He left the drink on the table for a second as he reached behind his and clicked a button hidden in the strap of his breather. With a metallic clink, much like that of a seat-belt, Jinn slowly pull the mask from his head and revealed his rugged face. The man needed the mask to breath for long periods of time, but he could still do without it as long as he was not doing anything taxing which included, but was not limited too, taking a stroll. He could eat and drink without it, but it needed to be close just in case his lungs decided to stop pulling in air. That shock from the console so many years ago had destroyed the nervous system that controlled the most basic of principle of human survival, the ability for the brain to ell the lungs to breath. It would not be a surprise if Jinn suddenly stopped breathing because his lungs could not receive a good signal from the brain and just flat out stopped out of confusion.

"What I propose is something that will change the shape of the galaxy." Jinn spoke, his voice much less deep without the mask "I want the deathwatch to assist me in overthrowing a certain political leader." Jinn stopped to take a drink from his cup

RC leaned in close and pulled out a deathstick from his pack. They were another guilty pleasure of his and helped him relax greatly. The overthrow of a political leader? This was getting very juicy and Rc became deeply engrossed in the idea.
RC lit the deathstick and puffed an acrid wisp of purple smoke towards the ceiling. He had the manpower to do it.
"Tell me more."

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn watched as the chemicals floated to the ceiling, how Jinn would have loved to smoke one of those. However, the man's lungs were already destroyed enough, he didn't need to add drugs to their list of problems. @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="RC 212"] seemed like he was liking the sound of the plan, wait until he heard the kicker.

"This political leader is the Empress of the Sith." Jinn said after taking another long sip of the beer.

RC choked a bit on his Deathstick. The Empress? RC could only imagine the world of hurt the Sith would rain down on them if they actually succeeded. It was absolutely crazy.
RC leaned back and smiled, letting another puff escape.
"You are still ballsy I see."
RC commented dryly.

"I better get a damn good reward for that. You owe me a fleet of star destroyers or something. Ill be hunted down and killed for sure if I do that."

RC considered the options weighing his judgments.

"What do I gain out of this?"

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn watched as @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="RC 212"] chocked on the toxic chemicals he was breathing into his body. Jinn listened as RC vented his shock to him, studying his movements. The man obviously thought the plan was crazy, but the fact he was still interested meant he would do it.

"Th-" Jinn had to stop mid-sentence as his lungs suddenly deflated and would not allow him to take in more air. This was not the first time Jinn had, had this happen to him so he calmly reached to his mask on the table and put it on his face, strapping it back on tightly. The mask quickly pushed the man's lungs full of air and Jinn leaned his head back slightly at the welcomed sensation.

"This plan will take time. I must still learn more about the ways of controlling my dark powers if I hope to defeat the Empress in single combat. In the usual case the Sith would most likely bow to whoever defeated the ruler, however, after the attacks of Omni I am hesitant to believe that most and especially those under Kaine Zambrano's control will be so easy to accept the change. I am also unsure as to the fact if any other Sith will try to kill me while i am weakened after the battle, I need the deathwatch to do two things for me. I draw my power from dark emotions or actions that radiate the darkside, you must go forth with me as I take on the empress and slaughter any who you see. Kill civilians and any Sith who dare try to interfere. This may make her stronger, but she does not thrive on such darkness like I do. Once this is done you shall work to maintain order as I transition into the position of Emperor."

Jinn paused as he let the plan circulate through the minds of the deathwatch members "In return, when my power is assured, the Mandalore shall be slayed in a glorious uprising by the deathwatch with the help of my new armies. The deathwatch will control Mandalorian space with you installed as the new Mandalore...together we shall begin a new era for the galaxy and crush all who resist our rule."

RC raised an eyebrow at the plan. It was interesting for sure, but he did not expect Tyrin would be game for it. RC turned to face his advisor and continued to hold his raised eyebrow. In truth he would like nothing more than to fast track to the domination of Mandalore, but the cost was beginning to outweigh the gains in his mind.
"Well then advisors. Advise me." RC commented rather dryly.

"This is a foolhardy plan, though that may very well be an understatement." Tyrin was very quick to say once he had been given ample leave to.

There was an audible click as the air filter in Tyrin's mask kicked on. Too much smoking going on in here. This stuff would probably asphyxiate him faster than a force choke if he removed his helmet. Still, there was a reason Tyrin didn't keep the filter on all the time. As he spoke further, his speech held the subtle sound of a small fan whirring quickly in the background.

"You are strong in the Dark Side and the Force, Mr. Jinn, but I do not necessarily think you have the mettle to be a leader. No offense, but rule by pure strength is faulty. Especially when so many other traits are required to lead. Especially where an Empire of Sith is concerned. Besides, the plans currently set in motion by the Death Watch do not require the use of any sizable fleet or army. While such military support would be a boon, it is unnecessary."

Tyrin was not entirely sure how to feel about Jinn's recently declared intention to overthrow the Sith Empress. He doubted such a plan would come to fruition, and certainly did not want to be heralded as a petty snitch. There were probably thousands of plots to overthrow the Empress being tossed around right at this moment. It would be best to simply let it be and feign ignorance if it ever did come to Jinn standing over the broken, battered corpse of the Empress. Besides, he had little desire to see Jinn executed or exiled. Sith blood was precious, after all.

Jinn Sibot

Child of the Darkness
Jinn listened to the Sith speak, he spoke like a jedi...fear and power were all that were required to lead in Jinn's eyes. If the Sith feared him they would follow him anywhere under the fear that they would be punished if they did not. He was not worried the Sith would snitch on his plans, besides if he did Jinn could always escape and come back when his powers were strong...or simply kill the man. Besides, the plan would not come to fruition until Jinn had reached a position of high power within the Sith. The Deathwatch and the Sith had time to think over the penalties of not accepting Jinn's help, this would not be their last meeting on the matter either way, for when the time came they would need to plan the attack if they decided to assist.

"Is any plan to overthrow the self-proclaimed 'strongest darksider in the galaxy' ever a plan that can be considered not foolhardy? Yet, our history is riddled with instances where the strong overcome the weak and claim the seat of Emperor.

"Those that lasted more than a handful of days had powerful allies, Mr. Jinn." Tyrin scoffed openly, finding Jinn's viewpoint horrendously narrow. "They were well connected, they understood how to play the game. You, on the other hand, do not look like the type to play the game. You look the sort to smash the board to bits and pieces and chastise those that play the game."

Tyrin sighed. This was such stereotypical Sith aspirations, that his fellow Apprentice was already planning on overthrowing the Empress. These plans would not require days nor even months to come to fruition. They would require years. So many, in fact, that discussing it now seemed rather frivolous. Tyrin had little desire to see the Death Watch perish in what he considered an ill-conceived and needlessly risky power grab.

"Perhaps another time, Mr. Jinn, such an offer would be considered. When you command enough respect that there are many within the Sith Empire who willingly support your claim. When you understand the delicacy and finesse the game must sometimes be played with. When Hoth melts, and Mustafar freezes over."
