The First Step

Rianna had received word that there was a possible student for her, a padawan actually. Rianna being diligent her in duties as a Jedi made arrangements to meet with this individual. A relationship between a master and a padawan was one of trust.

Personalities could clash, and depending upon what the padawan was interested in. She and Ian got along well because he was interested in healing.

But not everyone was destined to be a healer.

Rianna made arrangements and soon stood within the courtyard of the Jedi Academy waiting to meet this new padawan.

Emilia missed the white cloak and robes she had always worn before coming to the Jedi academy, she missed her gardens too. Maybe some day she could go back to Alderaan and work on her garden again, or maybe the temple had one she could work in. It would be a nice thing to do in place of standard meditation sometime in the future. She sighed as she walked with her hands running over the brown fabric that was Jedi robes, their feeling different to her but still the same cloth used in her old robes. Why was this all feeling so different for her now.

Her head shook and she sighed as she looked forward at the woman who stood not far off. Rianna Organa. Emilia had heard about her long ago, had even fought beside the one that was her husband if she remembered right, but right now all of that was in the past and no one knew her by the old name. Only as Emilia, a woman with the force that had been found on Ruusan. She took extreme caution in keeping her power concealed, her presence lessened, and her mind open. She didn't want to trip up once and had to play her part as Emilia. "Master Jedi, i am Emilia. You are Rianna right?" She gave a bow as she spoke, her eyes closing for a moment and staying so until she rose back up to stand straight.

Rianna turned looking upon the young woman who approached, "I am. Are you [member="Emilia Marean"] ?" Riannas dark eyes quickly scanned over this person who might be her student.

Rianna was being careful these days her condition was not widely known, and she was not speaking of it until it could no longer be hidden.

She hoped fir a student with similar likes, she smiled though. This one. She rippled in the force and her aura was interesting. What would be revealed?

"Yes. Good i found the correct place. Thought i might get lost again in this place." So she lied a bit about being lost.. mostly. It was still a new place to her but she suspected that this room, or one of the two others were the place in which she could find the healer. She took a quick look around again and spoke, not to Rianna though as her eyes turned on the shoulder of her robes and the head of a Ashlan wolf appeared with its white coat clear insight. "Hey Daeda, kinda need you to get down for a bit, ok?" The wolf would nod to her before looking at Rianna quickly and then back at Emilia. To anyone it would look like the wolf just stared at her but instead he was communicating through their bond and Emilia just sighed and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and sat him down on the ground. "Sorry about that Master Rianna. Hes a bit hard to deal with sometimes."

"I understand I have a companion as well her name is Edee, she's one of the last surviving Manka cats born on Alderaan. [member="Ordo"] and I found her one night, her mother had been attacking humans and had to be put down." Rianna swallowed hard home was always a sore subject.

"So, what is it that you wish to learn [member="Emilia Marean"] I have very little information on what you seek" Rianna stood with her hands folded before her, a position of rest. It conserved her energy. She felt it then that small flutter and smiled.

Everything would be alright, she knew this.

"Well... theres a few things but the main thing is i want to know how to heal people and i know you are someone who is a premier user of the skill... and Ordo? The Mandalorian?" She knew exactly who Ordo was but playing dumb was playing dumb and as much as she laughed at herself on the inside, the amusement hidden of course, she knew it would not be smart to reveal who she was possibly ever. Atleast not without letting time pass and the world last without her. "You wouldn't happen to know how to aid in teh growth of plants would you? I always loved being around nature and i heard of such a thing as jedi controlling plant life and helping it."

Rianna felt puzzled by the padawan in front of her, odd. "Yes Ordo the Mandalorian, my riduur or husband in basic." Most Jedi can tell a lie when it is told the words may sound truthful but the emotion behind it could be read. Rianna said nothing, not yet. She also knew that the force worked in mysterious ways and there were times patience was the most honored of friends.

"Yes plant surge I know this, it is one of the what I would call fun things about the force" She smiled then. "Well I can help you with healing, so let us start with plant surge as it is a good test of a connection to the force. And a healer must be connected and balanced to use the skill of heal self."

Rianna paused, "Do you meditate regularly Emilia?"

Emilia listened to her and nodded as she sat there and was asked about her meditation frequency. "Yes, i do meditate regularly, mostly in gardens which is why i prefer the ability of plantsurge as i do appreciate its effects on plant life and being able to aid the living in a natural process..." She left out a large amount of prior experience with the ability including her uses of it in the gardens of the grey. She didn't like lying to the Jedi Master who was the wife of a former ally... but she did understand not everything worked out in the best way.

She wasn't sure yet if Rianna could understand her reasoning for disappearing and becoming Emilia, but she was a Jedi now and that much was something that Rianna would be ok with surely. Not that it made sense to her though in regards to if she was doing the right thing. Sure a bit of doubt came with her now, but she needed to think about her future. "Whats the first step."

[member="Emilia Marean"]

"Yes we focus on what is the natural living world, alterations to such seem to disturb the flow of the force. Meditation within a garden is an excellent idea it allows for you to connect to the living world, and the living force"

Rianna smiled it was good the padawan was so aware of her surroundings, and that she had made the connection of the living force.

"So then through meditation you can feel the force, and the plant life around you and then using the force you can use both to encourage growth. Envision the plants moving forward expanding growing, and the force from it's relationship with you, will make the plants grow." She nodded, "does this make sense to you?"

To be fair the way she described it made a great deal of sense, perhaps due to her prior knowledge helping her understand and she nodded subconsciously as the question was posed. She had always tried to connect and coexist. A Symbiotic relation between the force, life, and herself. Generating its power not from her own aura but from the very channels of the force itself even during her training with Matsu Ike. It was hard to override her own ideas, thoughts, experience. To understand the Jedi way and alot of it did make sense to her especially considering what she had just heard from Rianna.

How she spoke reminded Emilia of her old training with the power. She had failed so many times, killed so many plants. It had been hard, no not hard. It had been like trying to fly without wings. Had she had it explained to her back then like it was right now, how fast would she had understood it. Would she had even understood it after still being loyal to the Sith. It brought her to wonder about the past as she stood there. But her mind refocused and she spoke. "Yes, i understand it."
