The Force Awakens: funny moments (SPOILERS)

If you haven't seen Episode SEVEN leave now unless well you know... you want to be spoiled. >.>

All else click the little:

So for those of us who saw the movie so far we have learned the movie has a LOT of funny moments. Finn and BB-8 are the front runners for most of this comedy but HAN AND CHEWBACCA were great with their banter and for me it all felt right in place. There wasn't any real moments when I fell they were trying to make it too funny or set up a joke. It all ran together smoothly and for that I give a few my honorable mentions.

My favorite I unfortunately forgot the line but I'm sure it was said in an interaction between han and finn.

Rey: No that one's garbage. *ship they are running to explodes* Ok, we take the garbage.

The glancing back and forth BB-8 gives Finn and rey and then the thumb up with his lighter.

Rey pulling the peice of hardware out of the millenium falcon thinking she helped and Han just looking at her like 'what the hell is wrong with you?'

Han arguing with the two groups and Chewbacca agreeing with the two.

Finn: He's tried to kill me 6 times! *chewbacca chokes him again* Ok just 5.

When chewbacca shot Kylo Ren.*Note this probably wasn't meant to be funny but the whole theater laughed when it happened.

Those are the off the top of my head funny moments that I enjoyed and remember. I'm curious to hear anyone else's opinion as well. :)

The whole back-and-forth with BB-8 and Finn was just hilarious. That moment with the lighter just killed me. Never expected a Star Wars movie to be spot on AND funny. Guess we can blame Guardians of the Galaxy a little for lightening the mood of modern sci-fi. It was good to see Abramms taking a few things from that!

Oh, and not forgetting Finn and Phasma "Who's in charge now?", or whatever it was he said. Funny stuff.

These are all paraphrased from my memory, but the messages were still pretty much the same.
Poe: "What are you saying? I can't hear what you're saying behind that mask."
Poe: "Why are you helping me?"

Finn: "Because it's the right thing to do."

Poe: "... You need a pilot."

Finn: "I need a pilot."
Finn: "I'm kind of a big deal with the resistance."

Han: "Look 'Mr. Big Deal', you should be honest with her about who you really are. Women always find out the truth... Trust me."

THAT! the whole banter that was one of my favorites.

I also loved how Chewbacca and the droids got a bit more life in this one. R2 was expressive but BB-8 is really expressive.

"Since when did any of your ideas ever help...and dont say the Death Star." Leia to Han

Also Po and Finn's escape was hilarious and awesome.

[member="The Traveler"] That part killed me, god you guys pointed out all the good parts.

I just loved how Finn seemed to be somewhat outside of the realm of everyone else they're all star wars and he's the random character going "why are you doing this? What is that?" For example when Han was nodding his head towards the window where Rey was climbing up the side of the building and Finn was asking him why he was doing that "eh eh?" Oh and when Chewy said he was cold xD.

I loved how Rey recognised Han as the Smuggler rather than a member of the Rebel Alliance, really made me smile, it felt so real, as if she really had been raised on stories of his triumphs

I want to see it again. I need a refresher. :D

Oddly enough I really enjoyed fin and rey's instant friendship. Neither really had anyone and so they seemed to form a bond almost out of necessity in that dire moment. The banter between the two wasn't out of place. The grabbing her hand was awkward but I didn't find it silly until she took his. You would think as a storm trooper he would have been giving military commands or something besides hand holding.Neither seemed to be head over heels for the other tho. The kiss on the forehead didn't seem out of place because moments before he risked himself for her, his friend. The moral of this rant: please Disney no love triangle or forced passion. :p
