I can't help be drawn to that eerie looking super-weapon behind Finn. Is this 'Starkiller'?

Hm... So it looks to me like the stormtrooper in the very first trailer and this Finn guy are one in the same. Finn is shown wielding a blue saber here. Possible story arc where a trooper changes sides when he learns he can use the force and is trained as a Jedi?

But in serious. This is awesome! I'm trying to not look up many spoilers, so I have NO Idea what Luke is going to look like, and the fact he's not on the poster is making me excited/nervous.

[member="Gherron Vael"] I remember reading a great nod to the original Trooper imagery from 1976, with the one holding a lightsaber, that most troopers now would be armed with weapons similar to a lightsaber (which is why it's rumoured Captain Phasma has a lightsaber) so only specially trained troopers can try to battle with Force Users. So maybe why Finn wants to have a go at using a blade?

Something along those lines. Probably nonsense, but it was an interesting read.

No Luke, and no idea about if he's in the trailer.

BUT why give us everything on a plate? Gonna be great to see any surprises they haven't revealed yet!
