The Force Unleashed 3

I am mixed on the one hand the games were just fun for using the force to blow stuff up good. You could feel like an 80's action star just throwing a push and chain explosions.... On the other I know some of the big complaints with it and agree but I would fave loved to see a third game to finish it up.... and to somehow upgrade from two sabers to three cause clone starkiller could grow a third arm just to fight.

Given the new nature of canon I highly doubt it. Those games probably do not fit the story they want to tell. Considering all Star Wars media to be released is part of the official Star Wars story...FU3 is dead.

The Force Unleashed was the first game I ever played on 360, fun fact. It's a series I kinda ''grew up with'', I suppose. And while I agree 2 could've been done a lot better, I'd still like to fling Stormtroopers around like ragdolls one more time. x3

I have never played either game. For those that like it, I am glad they do and I am glad they existed. For those that don't like them...OK.

I hope not. The first time I played 1 it was awesome, but as it went on the explosive nature of the Force got too much and it all became to repetitive, but the ending made it a decent game. 2 was just a confusing, annoying, and short mess up. All in all, not the best star wars game I have ever played. Jedi Knight even beat it....actually I loved Jedi Knight multiplayer....I miss that game! :(

I think this is the reaction we are looking for

Now let's be fair, kids. The games were great fun to play. If you're into god-fantasy chaos with gorgeous cinematic combat, a la God of War, they were fantastic, flavorful, and enjoyable.

The negative aspect is entirely from our point of view, as RPers. That, and they contributed nothing meaningful to the EU canon at the time (and even less now).

Let's face it, TFU2 was already a mistake. The first game ended with a good resolution; either Starkiller died a hero, sparking the Rebellion, or he became a shadow of Vader, eventually to be discarded for a better apprentice to Palpatine (and the latter was obviously non-canon, since Vader would be dead before Episode IV).

TFU2, while it was fun to play and added a couple of interesting new combos and mechanics, was only a sequel, in the worst possible meaning of the word with regard to the story. And as said, it ended in a cliffhanger, so not only did it open up a story with a good ending, it didn't bother to finish - presumably because they had intended to make a 3rd part, or simply ran out of time producing it.
Let's not even start about a successful Force-Sensitive clone.

TFU3 would have been welcome if it finally concluded Starkiller's story and weaved it together with the rest of canon, but as was said before, it's not likely to happen because Disney.

The first was brilliant and great fun on all levels but the second just felt like DLC. It soured things for me and didn't engage me in the story as much as the original did. I was happy to let it go after the 2nd and lost faith in it.

Bring on 'Battlefront' I say. Starkiller screwed up, and his time has been and gone.

I admit, I do love gratuitous violence. Starkiller filled and still fills that niche for me. And I don't care if it'd be considered canon anymore or not. Just do one more for the heck of it. XD
