The Force Works in Mysterious and Awesome Ways

Closed to @[member="Morna Imura"]
Coruscant.

The large, city planet had easily past its glory days. Despite its failure to be the planet it once was though, for a person like our own character we will be following through me it was good enough. Just down into the core enough to be scratching the vast and terrorizing Underworld, Elvira Congelo found this was a good place to be ignored.

Elvira, a Force Sensitive human teenager, had gotten so used to feeling alone that she was only half ashamed to say that she was used to it. In fact, now she preferred to be alone rather than in a group. Was a busy street the best way to go about doing that though? ... Sometimes yes, but this time no. Her dark, green cloak covered her enough to hide her entire body and her purple eyes. Streaks of black and green hair fell out of her cloak. Elvira, as usual, wanted nothing to do with anything. The young girl however was just about to enter the chance of a lifetime...

She stuck close to the edge of the scenery. One hand was tucked inside her cloak, spinning the stub nose to one of her blasters. The other was peaking out, scrapping across the walls of a building at the edge of the road. She was walking along, trying her best to hide the fact that she was armed. Her three blades and a her two larger guns were strapped to her back. A big lump under a cloak though did a poor job. Before Elvira reached to end of the building which would lead to an alleyway, three adult aliens suddenly popped up in front of her. One was a Togruta, the second was a Duros, and the third was a Trandoshan. One thing all three of them had in common though was that they were armed... and they looked scary.

The Trandoshan chuckled, "Hey, little lady. What's that you're dragging on your back, eh?" He placed a hand on her shoulder, one that inflected order. "Money? Treasure?"

Oh great, Elvira thought, An idiot.... She looked to them through her purple eyes and firmly threw his arm off. She gave him a warning growl, "Don't mess with me."

The Togruta's head fell back, he laughed hysterically. Meanwhile, the Duros also chuckled, "Ooohhhh, looks like we have a tough one!"

Elvira's eyes widened as the Trandoshan attempted to grab her with both hands, "Look, you're coming with us you little-"

It was in that moment where Elvira made her escape. With the aid of the Force she generated a powerful, mid-air push that sent all three of them flying back. Elvira then scrammed. She raced away from them and into the alley. She wasted no time, knowing that they could be right behind her. Elvira Force jumped up to a latter attached to the side of the next building and quickly climbed up it. The skinny human then ran as fast as she could (without using the Force) across the building. She then jumped off and used the Force to safely land her onto her feet. And she kept on running...

Apparently people were running everywhere.

Having a nice time setting down at some half-assed put together restraunt that allowed free coffee for me. Well that was to say that I was one of their most influential money harvesters. Sitting next to me was a case the shape of a guitar. Yes, I am a musician. and a Damn good one at that. Most of my life I have had the feeling that I wanted to play something. Anything to get myself away from the war that was taking place at the time. I learned the ability to control music through the force. And after many years of using it at small gigs. I had made my ability to play any instrument from that of plucking a few hard strings to that of perfection. Literally.

I could make my own voice sound high and reach the notes that would astound everyone, it could even break glass because of the high frequency of my voice, and I can go so low that it would be hard to hear me. ANd there was nothing like playing a few good rifts on a guitar. Nothing could beat that. Well other than my little ability to control the elements.

I picked up my glass and had just finished taking a drink when a woman landed down from the the sky, and smashed into my table. breaking her fall. and then she began to run off. I stood up and looked after her as some weird thief that was trying to get away. that was until I saw three men each of a different species run after her. I decided to make chase. My guitar case flew to my left hand and was set down on my LA-1 speeder. The bike roared to life as I put the guitar straps on the side where my sword was supposed to be. On the left side was my bow and arrow set was hooked onto.

I sat down and smiled. Fitting the rider's helmet onto my head, I revved the engine, and let her loose. The back wheel screeched as smoke was taken from the pavement and I sped off after the woman and the three men.

Of course, the chase was starting to get a little messy...

Landing on dinner tables, racing through casinos, and pushing people aside as fast as possible however was something Elvira was good at from years' experience. Having fended for herself all alone since she left the Jedi Order, she understood quite well how to survive around here. However, despite her abilities, the men were still right behind her... Things got worse when she ran straight into an alley - with no exit except the way she came. Brick walls, covered in messy graffiti, were all that there were outside the three people now standing at the entry.

The green Trandoshan took out a blaster from his belt and growled, "Kid, you are just..."

Elvira simply drew her twin blasters at him. "I said don't mess with me!"

The sounds of speeders and droids outside the alleyway were plentiful, but apparently nobody saw what was going on inside the darkened alley. The putrid smell of garbage was all that came up Elvira's nose, it caused her to wrinkle her nose in disgust. Despite her face, she seemed just about ready to take anything these guys threw at her. While she indeed was mostly untrained in the ways of the Force, Elvira took the gifts she had quite well and also knew how well she worked in combat. She blinked once, then shot both her blasters. One shot at the Togruta, the other at the green Duros. Her eyes stayed focused on the leader of the group. However, the light of a speeder heading straight towards them all briefly stalled her attention span.

Following them was not hard. The first lady that was running pushed people aside, and the group of three made everybody move. ANd well, I was not waiting behind a stop sign for them to catch up to her. I was on the sidewalk with my bike running over everything that the four ahead of me trampled over. and every one moved away from me. My bike flickered slightly as I was really getting angry. I was catching up to them when they disappeared behind an alley. I came to a sudden stop as I watched the group head down the long alley.

I backed up and decided to make something that would scare the poodoo out of the other three men. I revved my bike as my body became to ignite on fire. My body and my bike became that of a demon from hell as I rushed into the alley. and the lights that the woman could clearly see were from the fires that flashed behind me. Pulling a chain from my waist, I whipped it out and as I was passing the man towards the end of the alley, It seemed to lash out of its own accord.

Wrapping itself around the man and his chest, burning him as he screamed. I came to a stop just in front of the girl with a sideways halt. With the speed of 300 kilmeters per hour and the man at a standstill, he was thrown into the air over the wall at the end of the alley and on to land somewhere on the other side. I let my whip fall to the ground in front of me and whipped it back around my waist.

Turning to the two men I only looked at them. Pointing my bony finger at them, I shook it slowly. speaking in an Inhuman voice Simply stated, "Leave. Now."

There was fire in my voice, and full of hatred that if uncontrolled, could destroy cities.

The Force works in mysterious and creepy ways...

~~~
Being Force Sensitive herself, she could tell that the Force was at work in this man who had suddenly came up to them and taken her side. It was confusing, why would this man who could turn into fire, one who seemed so evil, take Elvira's side? It puzzled her, but not for long. The other two men seemed terrified at first, but then the Duros growled, "You'll play for toasting our leader like that!" And he raced straight towards him. Meanwhile, the Togruta seemed more hesitant... The he drew two guns out and aimed hem towards Elvira.
Elvira growled, "I suggest you listen to..." She glanced towards the awkward man besides her, "... That guy..." When the Togruta didn't listen though, and even began to charge towards her, Elvira let the Force take control. In a brush of mixture of confusing and fear towards both parties, the Dark Side leaked out. The Force Choke was one of the most basic Force abilities in the Dark Side's hand book. Without the restrictions of the Jedi Code, she had learned how to use it naturally. As the man raced up to her, Elvira placed one of her twin blaster pistols back in her holster and raised her arm up to him. She began Force choking him. Immediately, the man dropped his weapons and grabbed his throat, trying to breathe. Thankfully for him, Elvira did not have enough power in this Force ability to kill anyone with it yet. While she held the man in her grip, she put her other blaster away and raised her hand. She let go of the man entirely for a brief second then generated a heavy Force push that sent the man flying several inches away from her.
Man did they not seem to agree with people and of all things, a being made of complete fire. As the first man charged, I let the woman take care of him. but the other man drew his pistols and aimed them at either of us. My hands lowered to my sides as I got off the speeder. Each hand bony and full of flames that could melt Phrikite ore. The man fired at me as the other man was dealing with the woman.
The two blaster bolts were literally caught by man hands. and seemed to dissipate into air as they came at my hand. My off hand then collected a ball of pure fire, I rounded up my arm like a baseball player as I spoke, "Bad mistake." I threw it with such speed that it moved almost as fast as the blaster bolt that had come from the man's blaster. Smashing into his chest and sending him flying with a smoking hole in his cavity.
I turned to see the woman send a force push at the man sending him just at my level in front of her. I extended my hand and grasped the collar of his jacket. "I said, leave." my hand then lifted him up towards the sky and was blasted with an immense force push.
The Force works in mysterious, creepy, and scary ways...
This man's Force push confirmed that he was Force Sensitive, like her. After he took care of the man after she had Force Pushed him up into the air. Afterwards, the man fell in front of the alley, glanced back at one second, then ran off as fast as he could (which was hard because he was limping). The other man was on fire, he raced around, trying to put it out wildly. Half of his face was burn by the time the man had rolled enough to put the flames out. He too ran away from the two Force sensitive people standing in the alleyway.
With wide eyes, Elvira, looked at her rescuer. The girl's hood had fallen during the fight to reveal black hair with green dye. Her purple eyes, widened in the recent stream of events, quickly questioned the man's motives... And in her head she asked if he always looked like the creepy thing he was.
She blinked, "H-Hi - um..." with everything she could she smiled a tiny bit, "Tha-ank you for tha-t-t." Her smile faded though as she asked him, "Why did you save me?" Not saying I ever needed it, but still...
As the man ran away I took a step towards them and used an inhuman yell that was loud enough that the birds in the area flew away from me like death was near. I then turned around and looked at the woman as she spoke, saying that she was thankful that I helped her, and asked why I saved her. I shook my head, as choppy as it was, I then lifted my bony index finger to show that I needed a minute.
I closed my eyes and slowed my breathing in a span of about two seconds my body lost its flames and my bones were replaced with actual skin, and muscle tissue. Once that was done, I opened my eyes and even now I could feel my eye's burning alerting to me that my eyes were glowing a crimson red. (like the ones in the sig ;) ) as I turned to her again.
"First, you broke my nice evening with a cup of coffee, second, I felt like intervening." It was obvious that I was mad, well really I was pissed. This would have been my one week span of having almost no troubles. Not even one of my men who thought that it would be fun to go against my word. but she had to break that. I was pissed. I closed my eyes once more and breathed in and out slowly. Holding up a hand to stop, my face cringed, "Let me restart, I was having a cup of coffee and you landed on me, and at first I was going to go after you and teach you a lesson, but when I saw the other three guys, I thought you probably had it worse off than I did today."
@[member="Elvira Congelo"] (Ic thread? lol not ooc.) and yes he is.
The girl bit her lip at this reply. "Okay then," she remarked, "Sorry... -A -And tha-anks again!" She had slipped in another thank you at last moment. As much as she was anti-social, Elvira always tried to keep on peoples' good sides and she tried to be nice to them. Seeing how she had upset this man, alongside the fact that he an awkward but frightening fighting style, she felt as if she had accidentally went too far somehow. She blinked again, purple eyes reflecting the teenage thug inside her, and she quickly began to walk away. Quickly.
However, as she stepped away from the alley, a new question came up into her head. That ability, she remembered, The one used to catch fire... How could he ever do that? Her childlike curiosity got the best of her. She slowly stopped, ever daring to turn to face him again, and turned around. She stood where she was, glancing back at him.
"What was that power you used?" She questioned, "Did you have to use the Force?"
@[member="Morna Imura"]
She still stuttered as she spoke to me, Scared? in Shock? I couldn't really tell at the moment. But I would know if she suddenly fell over. I let her walk away from me, and I was already thinking that she might come back, and she did, asking the question that everyone else had before, "What was that power you used?" and even better, "Did you have to use the Force?" I turned around to face her and nodded my head. "Yes I used the force, but in a different way that what most think." I lifted my left hand and it ignited into a flame.
"I can control the elements of Fire, Air, and the ground beneath your feet." My bike now looked normal as well, instead of the grungy fire riddled bike that I had rode into the alley with. "As you saw I can use it on simple objects as well." I walked over to my bike and turned on the motor once more, "now if you don't mind, I would like to go back to my coffee."
Elvira had watched the man's demonstration in awe - like a toddler. As he turned to leave, she couldn't help but feel disappointed. For the first time since forever, she had felt a certain desire weld up inside her... She wanted to know this ability.
Since the beginning of her life Elvira had been alone, and she took what she could for herself. However, for once something seemed out of her grasp. A hunger for more power was rumbling in her brain... Why? The girl had no idea. She was completely fine on her own, yet... Yet she had just found something, out of her reach, and she wanted it so badly. As the man turned to leave, a rush of panic rose in the teenager. As he walked past, she felt as if she was loosing something. And all this time she had no idea where this sudden appetite for power had come from....
Her eyes widened, goosebumps all over, she swiftly turned to face the man. Her black, curled hair flipped around as she called, "-Wait!" ... Then she realized that she had probably made a mistake. She had already ruined this man's day once, why in the world should she do it again?! ... Was it for power? A power that she could not understand? ... Now Elvira stammered again, turning red in embarrassment. She didn't know whether to tell him not to mind her and go about his day, ask him to teach her how to use the technique, or race away as fast as she could. The sloppy teenage mess just didn't know...
The girl had not said a word. Probably out of sadness that I had to leave her or that she wanted to say something, but wouldnt. I was guessing the latter as nobody really "liked" me except for my current love. I started to move the bike around, moving it so I could get out of here. Slowly I started to leave so I wouldn't ram into the wall as I was leaving.
Hearing a yell over my shoulder I looked to see the girl once more. Looking at her with a slight smirk I turned my body around so that I could see her completely, "What is it that you want?"
@[member="Elvira Congelo"]
Elvira glanced at him in surprise as he smirked and asked what she wanted. The girl blinked multiple times. wondering how to reply. She sighed as she just looked at the man with his bike. Might as well say the truth...
"How did you do it?" Elvira asked, "How can you do it?" She shook her head harshly, telling herself to be more specific. "How can you control fire like that?" If it required the Force, Elvira thought that she could learn it. She had such a high connection to the Force, she knew that she could learn it! "C-Can I learn it??"
The smell of junk all around her had eroded away. The sounds of random droids and people chatting beyond the alley went silent. Now she just wanted to learn this power! Suddenly, a possible explanation entered her mind. She had used the Force Choke, a Dark Side ability, very recently before she felt this. Was the Dark Side generating this thirst for power? She couldn't understand it, she didn't know it. However, perhaps a reply from this could hopefully clear everything up.
@[member="Morna Imura"]
I looked down at my chest as she asked if she could learn from me the powers of Fire Shaping. I faced forwards and turned off the engine, standing up I walked over to her. My six foot height clear now as I was just a simple human. I looked to her eyes and could see that she was questioning her self very much so. I could see the confusion in what I had done, and how she herself used the Dark side of the force. it was apparent on her face that she was troubled in some way. I simply nodded my head.
Turning to my bike, I lifted the seat and pulled out a racer helmet. I handed it to her, "You're gonna need this for where we are going." I got back onto the bike and turned on the engine for hopefully the last time. Turning around to face her I spoke over the idling sounds of the bike. "Right now I offer you a choice. Follow me and learn all you can, but loose your past life, or continue on your way act like all of this was not true, and end up like the rest of the people here do. In confusion and in the dark."
I offered my left hand to her on the bike to help her on should she need it. "Choose one and hold on tight to what ever you have, because your life will change in the blink of an eye."
@[member="Elvira Congelo"]
Elvira's eyes once again had widened when he offered to teach her so. Her eyes narrowed though as he offered her the choice between two lives. She blinked as he held out his hand. Why is he being so generous? However, something inside her just told her to go. Thus, she reached out her hand, half covered by a black and white glove, and took his help to get on the bike. Why am I doing this? What could he do to me?
But something just told her to go.
She was to leave her past, aimless in the slums of many worlds, behind her. She could accept that. She knew that perhaps, under the guidance of a Force user, she could find something else in life. For how many years had she lived this way? While yes, she had gained her weapons and had become and adapt fight, what had that been for? She was learning how to use new abilities now. But for what cost would this come at. She bit her lip as she slid into position on the bike and placed the helmet on. No matter how many dark thoughts entered her head, one thing still said...
Go.
She tossed herself behind, throwing the homeless street fighter aside. She blinked, something new and more bold coming across her face. Whatever feeling had conjured thus, she did not know. "I'm ready."
I could see the hesitation in her eyes and body movement. Her thoughts may have been why I was helping her, but truth be said, I once grew up on these very streets. About three kilometers from here is where my apartment once was when I worked as a Bartender at "The Green Acklay bar and grill" She told me to go and even as I flared the engine to life, the front wheel lifted off slightly as we burst forwards.
Somehow the woman's voice broke over the wind and through her helm and into my ear, "I'm ready." I simply whispered to myself about her words. Knowing every single word that I said was the absolute truth. "You will never be ready."
(OOC: new thread or continue?) @[member="Elvira Congelo"]
Elvira's purple eyes narrowed at the man's words. To never be ready was to be a child. And while yes, Elvira was still young, she knew her capabilities quite well. 'To never be ready', what was that? She blinked, I wonder what you mean by that...
As the motorcycle started and they were off, Elvira had pulled her cloak up to where it would not get caught or anything by hanging from behind. The fresh wind caused her to have to blink, and for her hair to fly everywhere. She was confident that she was ready for this - for becoming stronger. He had said to cast her old life aside though, did that mean her current fighting styles and skills too? Whatever he had meant, she suddenly had turned from nervous to eager. Eager to prove herself.
