Private The Force's Guide: Teen Spirit (Milla and Draven)

Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr

It had been roughly a week since Draven's polar plunge experience on the world of Weik. Draven apparently was still in the life's lessons phase of making choices. Draven was going to honor his word to Sola Wessiri by repairing his own ship when the time came.. Well Attempting the repairs. He was still unsure how he planned to accomplish that goal. Though it was one of those deals. He knew Sola would be much more eased if a ship wasn't left scrapped upon her world. Where who knows what troubles it might cause should it be discovered. Either by the local populace.. Or by outsiders of the planet. Much like what Draven was.

Draven was itching for something to do to kill some time. Being the Logical entity which Draven was. He decided he was going to invest some practice into honing his skills. It started with some brain exercises. He convinced a local set of folks to engage in battles of the witt. So, Draven was able to sharpen his tactical prowess. He won three of the four challenges he established. Though the fourth one proved a little more then what he could overcome. It was good to discover limits.

From there Draven worked on martial aspects. He went on a jog and put in some lifting and acrobatics. Before practicing his hand to hand techniques.. And begrudgingly picking up a training sword and running through his practices with a blade. To ensure he was still sharp in even areas he despised.. Huzzah for team Responsible! The events killing the day until the mid afternoon hours. Where he finally stopped long enough to fit in a meal and some meditation.

Draven was careful enough to remain near The Adamite Tower.. Or more or less. Off branch jedi temple of this world. Draven was about to explore the world. Though he wanted to be sure he was familiar enough with the place. To be sure he would find his way back. Sola and the paladins were the closest thing Draven had to members of his order around.. And while his presence was tolerated at best. Draven wanted to keep what he was most familiar with close after the experience he had getting here.

He knew he had a few matters to accomplish on this world. He needed to visit the bowl of glass at some point. The force had sent him a message to go there. Though the time was not quite right. When Draven finished his rest period. He approached night. Now Draven was ready to explore force techniques. The first ones wore core and sensory abilities. Draven wanted to try to improve his ability to sense things with the force. Expanding his mind over the grounds and just feeling the terrain and building.. Admittedly he picked up on individuals as well.. And while he did pay some heed to them. He was more interested in the environment.

Eventually despite knowing better. Draven did work on trying to delve into how to use the force to shield oneself from the cold climate. He figured he could also use it to keep cool when things were hot. Admittedly despite not wanting to delve too deeply into the matter. This did come with the occasional flame being called forth. Draven usually would stop at this point and put the matter on the table. Until better instruction could be giving as to what he was doing and how.

Draven would go into telekinetic exercises. Usually he used it to help in local projects which required moving objects around. Going until he was either strained.. Or a migraine hit and he was forced to bench the project. Unfortunately Draven was about to find himself in another predicament. Though this time it was due to his normal routine being interrupted and him needing to improvise.

Draven had explored around for projects to help with. Alas, nothing could be found. As such Draven made his way away from the tower some ways. Till he stumbled upon a collection of dense and sizeable boulders. Rooted firmly into the ground. Draven observed the large rock formations.. And got an idea. Draven knelt down upon the ground and focused. Uprooting the stones gradually. While also sensing them. These boulders seemed to be a mix of minerals. Some of which were metal. Well they contained metals in them.

Draven began to rotate the boulders above him in a circular manner. Gradually building up momentum. A practice he had done before. Usually Draven would speed them up to a point they would generate a wind stream which would slap Draven. Then slow them to a halt and lower them back down. However, Draven was.. Well he should of been expecting it. Though he wasn't. Leaving him to be caught off guard. When searing hot pain in his head shot across near the climax of his routine. With a shout Draven launched the rocks outwards, and well upwards. While he gripped his head with one hand to try and re-focus.

Draven watched as they shot off capitalizing on the momentum he had built.. As well as his sudden outward push. Draven quickly responded and managed to secure five of the seven boulders. Drawing them back towards himself trying to ignore the pounding. Though that meant watching two of the huge rocks shoot off into the sky.. Draven scowled and closed his eyes. "Great.. More trouble.." He muttered. He didn't know what the consequences of the two flung boulders would be. Though he was getting a sinking feeling he was going to learn what his large rocket propelled rock and metal missles were going to do.

Every trip off world was an adventure for Milla, even if she had to find a way to make it so. She had been on a few dozen planets, seen many different cultures, species and spectacular wildlife and terrain. Even still, each new planet brought new surprises and secrets to unearth. Weik was just the newest one on the list. A strange combination of something ancient that collided with something new. In a way that the two weren't entirely sure how to mix with the other.

Milla's sapphire eyes took in the sight of the Adamite tower a distance away. The bridge of an old star destroyer sticking up out of the earth surrounded by a village that grew up around it. A strange clash of new and old. The young girl barely heard what the Jedi master had to say as they explained the history of the tower. Her thoughts had wondered to more entertaining things than what the group of padawans were listening to. So far this group trip to Weik hadn't been as eventful as she hoped. Enough so that she didn't realize that she was falling behind the group till she noticed they were nowhere in sight.

She stopped and looked around for anyone familiar, but to no avail. This wasn't the first time this happened, wouldn't be the last. Letting out a sigh, she picked up her pace down the muddy street. She skipped over puddles and thicker spots of mud, for once glad that she wore her shoes to protect her from the cold ground. Weaving in and out of the crowd, darting around street corners and through crowded avenues. Milla searched for quite awhile bit came up empty handed. Grumbling about how much trouble she was going to be in....again, she headed back to where the ship was located.

She had just made it a little ways out of the village when something caught her eye. A good distance away from the Adamite tower, was someone levitating boulders. And, of course, something like that needed investigated. Leaving all thoughts of rejoining her class behind, Milla scampered her way up to the boulder levitating beign. When she get closer, she realized that it was a boy about her age. Well, sort of, Milla was sixteen chronically but physically she was still about fourteen.

Climbing onto a nearby boulder behind the boy, she pulled the force in on her like a cloak as not to give herself away. She watched as he began to spin the boulders, faster and faster. Till disaster took hold and he lost control of them. She watched as two of the boulders soared off into the distance. "That's quite the distance." Milla replied as she watched the two boulders fly towards who knows where. Her tail moved side to side lazily, barely giving away her excitement at the ordeal or fact that she finally found something interesting.

Draven glanced towards the individual.. Whom he was not expecting to be there. Though did not seem entirely off guard by their presence. "If any of the boulders find there way into a structure or well.. Anything. Sola is going to have my head." Draven expressed and scowled. "I already crashed a ship into the ocean. She wasn't too pleased about that matter. Some point I'm going to have to help fish it up and fix it." Draven gave a shrug. "Oh well.. I suppose I better not dwell on what could be. You are right. It did go impressive distance." Draven couldn't help but agree.

He paused and winced as he touched his head with his left hand. The headache would last a few more minutes. Every now and then Draven would have to take pause. "So.. Um.. How long were you watching me?" Draven inquired unsurely. "If anything I find that to be quite intriguing. Not really been the best at subtle tricks like your own."

Draven wasn't exactly intimidated by her skill in stealth. If anything it would just mean he had a new set of skills he'd need to sharpen. She was clearly not a threat towards him or she would not of spoke up. At least that is the process Draven's mentality took. Draven himself wore a pale blue hooded robe and tan pants. Over top of it a fur jacket. As well as disdainfully he had placed on wrappings around his feet because unlike most situations. Where he could protect his feet from harsh terrains with the force. Until Draven found a way to counter extreme cold or heat. He knew he had to wear shoes or at least something to help keep them somewhat warm.

Draven looked to the boulders which remained in the area. While he calmed his headache. Before finally he spoke again. "Name is Draven.. Admittedly. I could probably go another round or three with the boulders. Though I rather not have more rocks soaring through the sky unchecked. What brings you to Weik?" He inquired. While he turned his attention towards Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr

His steel grey hues studied her with clear focus now. While he studied her features. Finding them fascinating as she was a different entity which Draven never encountered before. At the same time the fifteen year old tried his best not to stare either.

Milla sat down on the boulder and folded her legs. "Long enough." She studied him back as he studied her. The teen knew she was an interesting creature that caught curious glances from time to time. That was something she had gotten used to, because as far as she knew, she was a one of a kind. "Names Milla. I'm on Weik for a history class. I take it you're from the Adamite Tower?"

Draven was doing his best to shake his perplexity in regards to Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr as she introduced her first name. Luckily the question drew his attention. "Huh? Oh.. No.. Well, yes? Though also no. I am staying at the tower. Though I am not technically a part of their order. I am part of the silvers." Draven responded and smiled sheepishly. "As I said.. I kinda crashed a ship into their ocean"

Draven glanced the direction she mentioned. "History.. Hmm.. Not the funnest of subjects, is it?" He responded as he rubbed the back of his neck. He was trying his best to figure out how to proceed with the conversation. He figured it beat staring at her in awkward silence. "Perhaps I should steal your company for the day? It'd beat having a lecture if you were to you know.. Actually see places. Instead of hear about them. Besides there is more to do in other areas." Draven expressed. He worded steal intentionally. That way Milla could always have a fall back excuse if her instructors tried to probe why she had mysteriously departed. Draven would have no problem taking a bit of the blame. He was always better at defending someone from a problem then he was at fixing the problems afterwards.

Milla's ears perked up a little at the mention of the Silver Jedi. So they were part of the same order? Interesting. "Hmmm...they must not have been to happy about the ship crash."

Standing up, she hopped off the boulder and took several steps ttowards Draven. Her tail swung lazily from side to side with each step. "History can be fun. You just need the right teacher though." She came to a stop in front of him and contemplated his offer. Honestly it sounded much better than what she had planned. Looking up at him, she gave him a toothy grin, showing off some of her sharp teeth. "That sounds like a good plan. Besides, the teachers are used to me wondering off. Enough so that they get worried if I haven't disappeared at least once."

Draven simply nodded his head. "This is more or less my first time doing my own thing." Draven expressed and shrugged. He didn't seem too bothered by the fact she disappeared often. With her skills in stealth. It seemed like a waste not to escape some of the lectures. In regards to her teacher statement. Draven felt like he could understand that point as well.

Draven seemed more curious then concerned by the sharpness of her teeth. Though it was another curiosity he kept to himself. While he gave a warm smile and motioned for her to follow. While he began to make off towards where Voss city should be. During the week he had been present on world. Draven was spending time familiarizing himself to places. Both visually and through the force. Mentioned many times by this point Draven had a habit of sensing places and objects. To help counter the empathetic overload of people around him. He just had to be cautious as he now had Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr accompying him.

"Well that's no fun. Don't try to escape on your own for adventures" She followed after Draven toward Voss city. Her sharp eyes took in every detail of her surroundings, and some of the teen she was following. He was definitely a strong force user, perhaps a knight. Although he might still be a padawan considering how he mentioned crashing someone's ship. "So where are we headed?"

Draven was roaming in silence by this point. Though glanced towards Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr when she pressed her inquiry. He looked back to the direction they were headed. While he got a slight smile. "Voss city. It is one of the larger civilized places of this world and not too terribly far from the tower. We'll have better luck finding stuff to do there." Draven responded while roaming along. Draven looked to the palm of his hand. Then decided he needed something to do. So.. Out of boredom. He began to focus until a flame lept into existence near enough to him he would be able to feel the warmth. Though distant enough to avoid burning himself.

He did his best to shape it. Before he frowned and tossed it into some of the snow as a means to extinguish it. Boredom was the main reason Dravn found trouble. Which was increasingly becoming the theme. That and meddling with stuff he didn't understand. Much like the fire technique he was slowly developing along side the attempts to maintain a safe body temperature to avoid having to change his attire in the future.

Milla gave a hum of acknowledgment when Draven mentioned that Voss city was the most likely place to find something to do. Her eyes then watched him with curiosity as he began to make a flame with the force. Sure it wasn't very big, but it was enough to give off ample heat. A little frown appeared on the face as Draven tossed the flame into the snow. "You can't really expect to control fire that easily. It's wild and chaotic. You have to give it a path and nudge it along. Always remembering to breathe, because fire needs oxygen."

During her Tapas training, there was one thing Milla had rapidly learned to control and that was fire. She had even learned that she could breathe it with devastating effects, much to the dismay of her caretakers. With little concentration, created a small flame in her palm. Using the force, she draw air and heat towards the flame, making it bigger. When it was of sufficient size, she drew heat from the flame and focused it across her body until she significantly warmed up. Both the air and ground began to heat to the point of where snow started to melt.

Draven quietly absorbed the instructions giving from Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr during her demonstration of how properly to utilize the technique he'd been newly developing. Considering how easily it came to her. Indicated by the melting of snow. Draven couldn't exactly discredit her. "Remind me to bring you along next time I plan on crashing on an arctic world." Draven expressed in a somewhat playful manner. To indicate he found her control of fire quite impressive. Draven did not oftly find means to joke about unless in the right sort of company.

Eventually they neared the town Draven spoke of. While he gestured towards it. "That is our destination. If we cannot find anything to do there. Then we're just not that lucky." Draven stated. While he walked along and gave a warm smile.

Milla extinguished the flame she created before entering town. She definitely didn't want to l cause a scene and be the reason their adventure ended early. The young teen took in every sight and sound she could as they walked along. She found it a little fascinating the way old clashes with new in a strange tug of war.

Her eyes eventually landed on Draven Eterena Draven Eterena as he stated that this was the best and most likely place to find something interesting. "So, what exactly is there to do around here?"

Draven was tempted to reignite a flame. Just to test if he truly had soaked in Milla's suggestion in regards to how he could better handle the energy. Though she had a point in extinguishing the fire.. And Draven didn't wish to test luck either. The populace seemed tolerant of force users. Though he didn't want to know how they'd percieve teenagers throwing fire about.

Milla Caranthyr Milla Caranthyr asked him a rather sensible question all of a sudden. To which he furrowed his brows. "Hmm.. I know they have smugglers about in this here place. Perhaps if we take a moment to lay low. We can pick up some rumors floating about. That might give us a lead on what we can do to kill time as well as being somewhat productive. It'd be hard to exactly argue your dismissal if you happened to help some folks along the way." Draven suggested and shrugged his shoulders.

In fact only a moment after Draven suggested smugglers. His attention was drawn to a peculiar looking crate. Which someone seemed to be carrying into a warehouse. Before promptly closing off the doors. Draven furrowed his brows and tilted his head. Before he turned his attention back to Milla. "Hmm.. Perhaps we start at the local tavern?"

"Smugglers?" Milla asked, almost unable to contain her excitement at the thought. Who knows what they could be carrying! The site of the crate being carried into the warehouse didn't escape her attention. Attentive blue eyes watched as it was carried behind closed doors. What could be in there so important? Her attention was brought back to the conversation at hand when Draven Eterena Draven Eterena asked if she wanted to start at the local tavern. "Huh? Oh, yeah. We can start there."
