While potential buyers may be allowed access to the Forge, strict security measures ensure that only authorized persons are permitted in any sensitive areas.
- Description: The Forge is the first Forge-Class Orbital Shipyards to be constructed by Obsidian Star Aerospace. It is located in the Covalas system, orbiting the mining world of Danuta. The close proximity to raw materials makes Danuta a prime location for a shipyard as it cuts down heavily on transportation costs. The Forge is capable of constructing up to 20 capital class ships at a time using external dry-dock frames, with varying build times based on tonnage and size. In addition, the Forge can construct up to 100 corvette or small type ships using it's internal production facilities, again with build times depending on size and tonnage. The Forge serves as Obsidian Star Aerospace's primary area of operations.

- The Forge-Class Shipyard can produce up to 20 capital ships at a time using external dry-dock frames and hundreds of D0-T7 Astromech Droids. Average build times for ships varies on size and tonnage, but can generally be assumed to take:
- Market: Obsidian Star Aerospace is a major supplier to the Silver Jedi Concord, particularly in the regions to the Galactic West of Kashyyyk. While most of it's craft are military in nature, the company does have a small but significant catalogue for civilians.
- External Dry-Dock Frames: The Forge has twenty external dry-dock frames for building capital ships.
- Internal Construction Bays: The Forge has an extensive network of internal construction and fabrication areas for the production of parts and smaller spacecraft.
- Central Operations Level: From the central operations level, supervision is kept on the various building efforts as well as the performance of essential systems. The station's central power plant is located on this level.
- Crew Living Quarters and Recreation Facilities: Crew quarters for station personnel can be found on this level, so can several mess halls, gymnasiums and the infirmary.
- Security Command and Control: Security command and control exists on the Khiluum-class defense platform that is stationed nearby the Forge. From this area, the outer defense parameter is manned and defensive fighter squadrons are scrambled. In addition, the platform's defenses can be manned from this level.
- Outer Defense Parameter: Consists of a network of twenty-five OSA-08 Orbital Defense Satellites and serves as the Forge's first line of defense against attack.
SECURITY: High
- The Forge maintains an approximately 200 person security division on board the main station, a secondary tactical response unit of 50 operators on board the Khiluum Defense Platform, two squadrons of OSA-13 "Ares" Space Superiority Fighters

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Forge was created when Obsidian Star Aerospace began receiving high volume orders for large military vessels from the Silver Jedi Concord. Until that point, the company operated out of the Obsidian Star Mega-Complex on Denon. Unfortunately as a ground based installation, production of any spacecraft above the Corvette level was impossible. In addition, sharing production time with Obsidian Star Technologies became difficult and resulted in numerous production delays for both companies. With the recent completion of the Forge over Danuta, Obsidian Star Aerospace hopes to ramp up it's capital ship production as well as establish a market for selling civilian vessels within the Silver Sphere.
