The Galactic Order (Interest Check )

Hi Everyone,
I had an idea that was inspired by firefly the tv series, of a government that tried to better all the worlds and through good intentions became a sort of an indifferent empire. This paralleled star-wars rise of the Galactic Empire and I like force users, so here we are.

The outline of this concept is a series of ideas that form together.
  • Firefly Government
  • The Galactic Empire
  • The Republic/Jedi relations
  • The Potentium beleif
  • no darkside
  • no lightside
  • just the force
  • actions determine ones character
  • dark/light neither inherently wrong
  • one can use any ability as long as the ends justify the means (sort of like the firefly agent)
  • Expanding on the Agent concept, Darksiders/sith lightsiders/jedi and neutrals can work together to build this sort of balancing Order that would keep all sides/triangle in line, light/dark/non force users.
  • lead by an Emperor/Empress figurehead
  • some type of senate for diplomatic characters
  • and a space station that acts as a base of operations like the deathstar only without the giant death canon of doom.

I realize a lot of factions generally do the same thing, albeit a little different through the creators perspective, i generally just like the name and the idea of a galactic empire type of thing with characters that work together despite differences/hate/etc. I wouldn't be the empress/emperor or leader. I'd just like to see my perspective realized and carried forward by writers interested.

Sounds like there isn't a lot of room for Non Force Sensitives.
I thought it would function like the Empire did, where non force users would occupy a lot of the army, government positions, special branches, etc. But yes I see where you are coming from, I didn't mention non-force users more than once, these ideas are bound to be added to, but the general concept does indeed follow a force, so non force users would have to decide if their character could still follow an ideal they can not actively use, sort of like Papal Rome, where followers beleived in a specific higher order but didn't have magical powers, which in reality was all citizens/soldiers/officials of rome-non force users, so i'm sure you and every other non force user is safe in the assumption that they have a place here.
