Hello ladies and gentlemen! I am Darren Brunswick, senator from the planet of Kuat. Today I stand before you to introduce to you... the Galactic Republican Party! Whether you are a Jedi, a politician, or a military officer, you are all welcomed to join our political party. We are a conservative group, determined to bring about new laws and legislations that will make the Galaxy a better place.
The Galactic Republican Party's Ideology and Policies:
- believe that politics have no place in the private industry.
- believe that the free market is the road to a prosperous Galaxy.
- support lowering taxes on private corporation, enterprises, and business.
- believe that the Galactic Senate must lower taxes, fees, fares on the use of trade routes and public transport and thus encourage travel and trade across the Galaxy.
- support zelo-tolerance for slavery
- support anti-corruption within the Galactic Republic.
- support expansion of the Galactic Republic via all means neccessary.
- believe that all planetary governments in the republic must strictly follow the laws created by the Galactic Senate.
- support humanitarian aids to the poor and less fortunate planets.
- believe in securing and clearly marking faction borders as to create a safer Galaxy to travel in.
- Support laws that will provide officers in the military with a greater amount of power and control to excercise in battlefields.
- support the democracy and republic that the Galactic Republic stands for.
Goals of the Galactic Republican Party:
- establish itself as a majority in the Galactic Senate, and thus be able to create progressive laws to move the republic forward.
- create a safer Galaxy and make mutual allies.
- create a totally free-market economy and bring about prosperity to the republic.
- lower taxes overall so as to overall help the welfare and wealth of the people.
