The Galaxy is not Enough

Location: Nar Shadaa Leilani Paaie operative of the Red Ravens. Codename: Severine

Mission: Interception of courier pouch containing alliance agreement between mandalorians and republic. Create event that casts doubt on alliance.

The name of the courier was not provided which meant she would have to find out who it was, and then find out their travel plans. Usually not so difficult but mandalorians were exceptional warriors though they did enjoy the celebration of life.

Leilani looked at the very brief orders, that as status quo. They would tell her the objective let her know what they would authorize, and then she would use her talents, and personal resources to get what they wanted.

A growing alliance with the Republic could put her way of life in jeopardy. Leilani looked over at the picture of her parents she did not think they would agree with her way of life, she knew at times she did not.

Leilani rose up pushing back her obsidian colored hair the highlights of metallic blue she tucked it behind her ear. Her eyes black as night swept over the message again to make sure that she had not missed any code words. She had not. Now the sabacc tournament that she wanted to play in was being held in one of her favorite places the Crimson Twi'lek in a week's time, she hoped to be back by them.

But let us see if she could intercept the courier first. Let's start with a trip to Mandalore if she could not catch the courier there, then she'd come back to Nar Shadaa for the tournament. Leilani packed and was traveling within a couple of hours. The trip was to be interesting being a zeltron she always enjoyed travel.

The Peace Park, Sundari
Mandalore, Mandalore System
Looking at the photo of Kayleigh tucked into his wrist-com, Fixx blinked and resumed focus observing the Peace Park. A tranquil garden and memorial shrine enclosed in a large glass building, much like a chapel stood atop the city of Sundari, letting in the warmth of the sun but the fresh air from the ventilation. He would have to bring his love here one day.

People on and off duty in their various jobs passed through the Peace Park for relaxing lunches, meetings or simply as tourists. It was an open space and devoid of any visible threats; not to say in its time violence hadn’t found its’ way here. Bomb threats, gangster hits and other notable act of war had spilled into the Peace Park, but now it was a time of relative calm.

Perfect for what Fixx believed was the meeting spot for the courier to deliver Republic notes to the Mandalorians. Nothing that would make or break the peace between the two, but it was still important evidence to show that peace WAS an objective by the Republic and that the Mandalorian people were just as important as any other in keeping their strong alliance.

Fixx leant on a railing on the upper floor, watching the park in all its glory from above and people watching. He didn’t know the identity of the courier, but it wouldn’t be hard to spot them once here, and his sole objective was to ensure the delivery took place peacefully and without any sabotage from those out to shatter the fragile Republic.

Short blonde hair, piercing blue eyes and neutral tan shirt and trousers kept Fixx looking like an everyday citizen, one with a blaster concealed under his shirt with a licence to use it when he chooses, where he chooses and to whom he chooses.

Arrival on Mandalore

The men on the trip out had given her attention that was quickly cooled by the guards that attended her. Their job make sure she did what she was supposed to once they reached Mandalore they faded into the background, there but not there.

She sighed slightly as her eyes darted about looking she knew that there was be another operative on this, a republic operative. But what would a republic operative look like? Already information brokers were working for her through the Ravens to find out hopefully she would have a name, and a likeness soon. But she did not know if it would be soon enough. First she needed to keep her cover in tact, and pretend to the buyer of rare gems that she was posing as.

She walked with a self confidence that radiated outward affecting everyone she passed, their eyes followed her. She looked like a business woman the black dress that fit her body moving with her, the high heels that gave her legs length, long dark jet black blue hair that framed her face and hung about her shoulders. The fact she was a zeltron likely got more looks than her manner of dress.

Leilani had made reservations for a high rise suite near the exchange site. With the guards tucked away she wandered out to the railing and looked down. She tilted her head back to take in the sun what was left of it.

Exchange was within the next three days, so she had three days to identify the courier, and identify the Republic operative. She tried to clear her mind as she tilted her head back down she looked across the park to the other side, the other high rise suite.

A human male from what she could make out, she smiled for some odd reason. Humans they did not know nearly as much as they thought they did.

Fixx noticed more people filtering through, and so it would be time to sweep the top floor to get an top floor view of the entire park. Casually, he started walking left, following the railing and passing a few passers-by, businessmen and women and tourists of all number of species.

The inner square was linked by three other plazas, each with their own decorative beauty and features. The main square where he was now was full of water fountains, seating and artists here to make a few credits busking; dancing, painting and street entertainment.

Walking along the left side, Fixx saw nothing major, and coming around to the opposite side he was attracted to the leggy Zeltron, in a position he was almost mirrored from the other side; watching the square below. A figure hugging dress, long legs and a confident stature was attractive in a woman.

He smiled to himself and looked away, remembering Kayleigh.

”Discipline, Kearney. Discipline.”

Leilani saw the appreciative look and when he looked away she went inside Armand with his dark hair, and sensual mouth she envisioned. But then again the crystal blue eyes, the walk that said he knew who he was would catch any females' attention. She shook her head, it was time to go downstairs. She picked up her comms, her blaster which found a very convenient place to be hidden.

She walked through the suite again, this was where she felt most at home right now. The hideaway that was arranged for her was well taken care of, and it accommodated her social life in ways that only a zeltron could appreciate.

The fountains of the square were beautiful it could not be denied. The way the water fanned out as it was sprayed into the air arcing Leilani stopped and admired it. There were several individuals milling about but now which one looked like a courier.

Leilani looked at the young men, and women some very nervous, some very sure. Slowly now Leilani walked toward the perimeter of the square. She tried to look like she was taking a leisurely stroll, but her eyes always darted about looking for the tell that said nerves.

She thought about this operation, how would they keep the mandalorians from making peace with the Republic? Most times assignation worked the best. It created sympathy, outrage, and often bouts of war.

This was going to take some time she realized, she edged her way to a small bistro style table on the edge of the square. This had its advantages a waiter with an appreciative eye appeared as if on command. His eyes deep pools of dark blue like the waters of Spira.

She leaned forward slightly, "I would love something decadent and sweet with a cup of stimcaf" She smiled as he disappeared.

Perhaps the waiter had noticed someone.
