The dark Sith warrior was a stark contrast to her surroundings, even with her long cloak concealing much of her form. She marched processionally, taking her time to reach her intended destination. Each footfall of her boots sounded like gunshots on the polished stone walkway leading to the main entrance to Dragonne palace. Terraxia had a thousand-yard stare to match and passersby were swift to give her a wide berth.

Once she neared the landing adjacent to the steps leading to the main door, she stopped, arms still folded under her cloak and head downcast. Commlink chatter had reached the security forces inside the palace and preparations were underway to receive this mysterious and threatening individual...

Illyria ~ Dragonne Palace ~ Main Gate
Sergeant Cheviel had the unfortunate luck to be the soldier on guard when the dark stranger approached the gate. He'd only had another hour until his shift was up, however by the approaching stranger it did not seem this hour would go by easily. He placed a hand to his helmet, speaking into the comm device. "Unauthorized individual approaching the main gate. Will challenge." He reported back to the Security Command center. There were two other soldiers beside him, looking to their Sergeant expectantly before the man gave each of them a nod of approval.

All three men wrapped their hands around the hilt's of their vibroswords, drawing them with a song of blood lusting steel sliding from it's sheathe. The two men on either side of the Sergeant created a birth around the mysterious intruder, taking up a position of either side of her flank while the Sergeant raised his shield defensively. "Halt, in the name of the King. You are in a restricted area. Hands above your head and prepare to be taken into custody." The three of them ran their hands over their activation switches, creating a soft hum to emit from their weapons.

Although these men were not eager for blood, they were prepared to shed it for the sake of upholding the security of the palace. However it was quite clear the Sergeant had absolutely no clue who he was dealing with. "Take her." He commanded. The men on either side of Terraxia Terraxia stepped forward to close the distance between them. One of the men sheathed his sword and produced a pair of binders. "Don't make this difficult." He suggested, reaching out to grab the woman's wrist to secure the binders onto.

There's no response whatsoever, my feet are firmly planted and I don't even make eye contact.

One of them makes a move to subdue me...his mistake. A hand lashes out from under my robes, seizing the guard by his own hand. I torque his wrist in a direction it was not meant to bend. He screams painfully as the force of my hand lock rends muscles and tendons. While he's immobilized, I take his vibroblade from his belt and then club him with the flat side of the blade, knocking him to the deck.

The other two men lash out with their weapons, but it's child's play to parry their blows. I counter the first man with another sword strike, again using the flat side of the virboblade to bludgeon him. The second man receives a swift high kick to his jaw. Now all three are sprawled out on the ground, recovering from the strikes I delivered. I twirl the blade in an intimidating arc and take up a fighting stance, this time ready to kill whichever one is foolish enough to continue this melee.

Some of the most professional and well trained soldiers on the planet, the Illyrian Skirmishers were no match for the Sith Lady who stood before them. The moment the first soldier's hand let out the sickening crack, the other two attempted to subdue her to no avail.

They fell just short of their duty in defending the Palace. However, one of the men crawled from the woman, groaning out loudly. "Urgence! Urgence! Intrus Ă  la porte principale!" Emergency! Emergency! Intruder at the main gate! The report rang through the man's comms and suddenly there was a noticeable shift in the area surrounding the palace. The main road leading to the palace shifted unnaturally, several duracrete barriers rising from hidden compartments underneath the ground. A number of soldiers flooded the area, rushing forward and creating a line between the woman and the main road before them.

Their blaster rifles were raised, aimed for the Sith with a deadly demeanor about them.

"That is far enough." A voice called out. From behind the line of soldiers an
armored knight stepped forward. The black cloak flowing over his armor held the seal of the Royal Family, a snarling wolf of amethyst upon a black abyss.

"
You dare approach the Royal Palace with such reckless disregard?" His tone was serious and charismatic as he brought his blade above his head, spinning the Vibrospear once before brandishing it towards the woman.

"
I will not allow such an insult to the Royal Family. In the name of my Lady, Francesca Malvern I will stop you here." The Knight of the Royal Court spun his vibrospear, allowing the staff to come under his arm while throwing his left hand forward. The Force exploded out from his hand in a focused pulse, aimed to send a kinetic wave to push this assailant back. Following the kinetic wave, Sir Allard charged forward, bringing the tip of his spear forward in a powerful thrust for the woman's chest.

The Illyrian palace guards sound off an intruder alert and a group of armed guards with blasters emerge from cleverly hidden fortifications built into strategic areas. All of them take up a formation, each and every one with blasters ready to let loose. Then I see their commander step forward. I can immediately sense his connection with the Force. The corners of my mouth turn upward in a barely preceptible Mona Lisa grin. I'm certain he can sense my vinculum with the Dark Side as well.

Saying nothing, I toss aside the vibrosword loudly and extend an empty hand in front of me. From each side of my hips, a pair of lightsaber hilts come flying out. They join together forming a double-saber staff and both ends are blazing with beams of red light as I hold the weapon horizontally in front of me.

I can feel the oncoming burst of kinetic force energy, hurtling at me like a wave about to break. My free hand opens and I connect with the ground below, using telekinesis to anchor myself in place. My robes blow about wildly as I'm about to be impaled by my opponent. I lean back at an impossible angle, still supported by the Force. While I barely manage to avoid being stabbed, the clasp on my dark cloak shatters and the garment falls to the earth.

When I rise back up, I use the momentum to strike back. My blade swipes only millimeters from your head, close enough to feel the heat coming off my lightsaber. This is followed up by a short volley of strikes at you, not necessarily to kill you, but more like I'm testing you out. One might get the impression that I've been toying around thus far.

SIR ALLARD

The moment the kinetic burst connected with his opponent, Sir Allard's expression underneath his black helmet was one of surprise. There were few on Illyria capable of withstanding the powers of the Force. Yet this woman who stood before him was able to defend against his assault?

He closes the distance, pressing his attack but he is met by something he could never have expected. As she bent backwards to dodge the sharpened tip of his spear, he growled out in frustration. This was more than some upstart trying her hand at testing the Security, this could very well be an assassin. He decided then to take the fight seriously and not leave himself open to the tricks of this strange enemy.

Her crimson lightsaber flurried forward. With every blow she released his hold of his spear was ironclad. Where her lightsaber lashed out, the Phrik metal was there to deflect it. She could not hope to breach his defenses so easily, yet her talent showed through the blows. As the final blow came down Sir Allard twisted to the side before leaping backward, setting his armored boots onto the ground with a loud thud.

The armored Knight spun his spear before holding it over his shoulder, poised in a defensive position. Her attacks were weak by comparison to her skill and this caused him to speak up. "You have talent but all you can manage to do is swat at my spear? I have barely broken a sweat, intruder." He said proudly before letting the Force flood his body. This time he would charged, the metal spear aimed in a series of rapid stabs, aimed for the woman's chest and shoulders.

I'm done feeling you out. You seem to be of the same mind as you unleash a renewed onslaught. What I'm lacking in training compared to you I'm making up for with pure speed and raw aggression. A counter-strike from me comes at you like a tornado, then you seize an opening. A swift upward strike cuts my dual saber in two. One end is damaged and useless, the other is still functional as a single blade.

I have to adjust my attack since you've effectively cut my reach by half. I charge high and low now, swiping at your feet as well as your head. Once again, my attacks are largely stuffed by your superior skill and experience. I do manage however to connect at least once; sparks fly off your armor where my blade strikes but it doesn't slow you down at all. Tit for tat, your blade finds its mark, lancing my shoulder with a grazing wound.

The two fought earnestly. As the Guardsmen felt the weight of the battle he wanted to rush and end it, however his training warned him against it. However he was slowly realizing he was being matched. It was not that he could not break her guard, but do do such would open himself to attack. He felt a glancing blow flow of his shoulder, leaving a nasty scar in his pauldron which caused him to take a step back and measure the woman before him. He let out a soft growl of frustration, spinning his spear before him in an attempt to distract her.

That was when time itself seemed to come to a halt.

Terraxia Terraxia would feel it just as the Knight would. His response was an odd one. He brought his spear down, planting the butt of the weapon against the hard concrete as he bowed his head silently.

That was when an immense pressure wrapped itself around Terraxia. She would feel every bone in her body lock up. Her muscles spasmed against her, disobeying her commands and instead remaining firmly locked where they were. The posture she held became a prison that she was unable to break as soft, deliberate footsteps impacted the ground from behind her.

She would not have sensed him until now and then his presence in the Force was unmissable.

"I do not take kindly to those who make trouble on my planet, much less upon the grounds of my own palace."

With a snap-hiss an amethyst lightsaber rose to the space only a few inches from the woman's neck. Just now piercing purple orbs gazed out at her with a menacing intent. "Who are you and what are you doing here? I suggest being brief with your explanation." He demanded.

"I am Darth Terraxia." That name was fairly well known in Sith circles as I had unexpectedly risen up and slain my former master, Darth Vaulderi. I was not as strong with the Dark Side as others, but I had used other means to even the odds. Playing dirty wasn't below a Sith if the ends justify the means.

"I wanted to get your attention. Because I want to be your disciple. And I can serve you in ways no one else can." The proposition is completely serious as is my demeanor, being force bound by your sentinel doesn't dissuade my bold statement, nor does the lightsaber blade next to my head and neck. The only sound now is a drop of sweat that sizzles against the laser sword that's close enough to start burning my skin.

He was not amused.

The amethyst blade seemed to shine vibrantly in response to the woman's words. The King said nothing in response yet his amethyst eyes bore holes into the very center of what stood before him. She was not some upstart or a foolish apprentice seeking patronage. No, her powers in the Dark Side were powerful, her potential even more so. Yet the Sith Lord sensed much to be desired. The impulsiveness of this assault. How public and forward it was. That was not the old way. That was not the way of the Hidden.

"Foolish." He pulled the lightsaber from the woman's throat.

The Force that flowed around her would slowly slip away, leaving her free to move once again. "Never attract the attention of those you are uncertain of. It will lead to your death. If you wanted to commit yourself to learning my ways you would do well to listen to the words that fall from my mouth." He said with a calm, yet intrigued tone. He stepped back from the Sith woman, his eyes taking the measure of her. She was indeed powerful in the Dark Side of the Force, however the King had seen this type of talent before. Raw, unbalanced, and in need of honing.

"Darth Terraxia." He considered the title before shaking his head.

"No." He said curtly. "You have not earned the title of Darth so I will not recognize you as one." He said, stepping back as his blade receded back into it's hilt. "You wish to be my disciple but you have been trained by another already, who taught you the Dark Side, girl?" He demanded.
