Points of Interest:
Dexen Tower:
The business center of all Gemera. It is here that the people spend their daily five-to-six hours --at that-- of work. Every office is a corner office, every corner office has a view of the great oceans that span the vast unknown of the blue. Life wouldn’t be good on all those who lived here if they weren’t allowed a very exclusive vista each day they went to work.
Kain Tower:
The tower where they all live. Each room is a penthouse apartment and each apartment takes up three levels. It’s basically like living in a mansion built on top of another mansion, built on top of another mansion.
Keicho Tower:
The entertainment center! This place has everything from a 25-hole minigolf course spanning two levels, to fine-dining district where some of the most luxurious meals in the galaxy can be had for the price of a small island. In short: this is where most of the rich people spend their free-time and it is here that the careless consumerism is the most evident.
Conform/Revolt:
90/10 - It depends on if you ask the conformist residents or the revolting servants, really.
Description:
The best way to accurately describe Gemera is to paint you the full picture. Imagine a place where nobody knows your name. Waves dashing against the golden beaches where tourists are forbidden to even trespass at the risk of complete annihilation. If not from excessive force but the immense lawyer fees that is sure to follow. Follow the beating, that is.
Imagine a district where you as a rich man of human descent was allowed to be yourself. No restrictions other than what the Emperor makes of them. It is a place where the rich gets richer and the poor made aware of it. It is where everyone wants to live, but few can afford.
It is, the Gemera Isles.
Reserve your spot today and don’t bring any aliens (unless they’re, like, your servants) with you. We don’t want those.
History:
The Gemera Isles ‘district’ was formed following a successful purchase by the three investors from Coruscant. Dexen Wynver, Keicho Su and Kain Lassiter created the Gemera Isles with the hopes of creating a safe haven for the rich and famous (and thus superior) upper class. A place where only their kind were allowed to roam and where the poor was to be excluded without concern for their health and safety. If they wanted in, they’d have to work their way in.
There is not much else to say. It’s only been circa twenty years since the small district was created and thus there is little to say.
