SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Ghostfire Primary Crystal: A rare crystal found only on the peaks of the highest mountains on a few planets in the outer rim, made even harder due to their translucent and almost clear appearance. When put into a lightsaber, and installed correctly, they have the ability in lightsabers to make the blade appear nearly invisible, producing no sound when igniting, extinguishing. Even the thrum is completely gone, the only sound made when the blade touches materials, and even that is quieter than other lightsabers.
  • Ghostfire Secondary Crystal(Dual-phase Crystal): This ghostfire crystal has been installed further back in the lightsaber, to function as the dual-phase crystal.
  • Ghostfire Focusing Crystal(Focusing Crystal): This ghostfire crystal has been installed further forward in the lightsaber, functioning as the lightsaber's focusing crystal.
STRENGTHS
  • Dual Phase: This lightsaber's ability to switch between lengths instantaneously allows it to catch unsuspecting or unaware enemies off-guard.
  • Unique Capabilities: This lightsaber, due to its use of the Ghostfire crystal, is completely silent, makes no noise when igniting or extinguishing the blade. It even produces far less noise when making contact with materials. Also thanks to the Ghostfire crystal, the blade is nearly invisible, only illusionary after-images and translucent, very dim glow giving it away. This makes it almost impossible to keep track of the blade in combat, having to use the hilt to know where the weapon is, one small mistake spelling death.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightsaber Resistant Metals: Cortosis, phrik, beskar, all are resistant to the blade of a lightsaber, with cortosis capable of shorting out the blade on contact.
  • Hard to Keep Track of: Because of the blade's unique properties, the blade is hard to keep track of, taking a very careful and precise user to avoid cutting their own limbs off.
  • Maintenance Intensive: Because of the lightsaber's use of two ghostfire crystals, the advanced setup and special battery settings required for the blade to function properly needs careful maintenance lest the blade's unique capabilities fail to function, the blade appearing as a bright white lightsaber if not taken care of properly.
  • Environmental Weaknesses: Not only is the blade unable to operate when the hilt is submerged, but things such as heavy rain, debris, sandstorms, or any other sort of constant contact with the blade will enable an opponent to see the outline of the blade and thus combat it on equal footing.
DESCRIPTION

The weapon of the failed assassin turned Sith Lord, the Ghostblade was designed as the ultimate assassin's weapon, each ghostfire crystal embodied with the hate and rage of Darth Lucifus poured into it. Using ghostfire crystals, the lightsaber blade is able to operate both completely silent as well as nearly invisible, the blade appearing illusionary, only a very dim glow giving it away.

Although still suffering from environmental weaknesses and maintenance requirements, the blade is nonetheless the perfect assassin's weapon if the conditions are right and the lightsaber is kept cleaned and its structural casing along with electrical wiring kept in check.

Hello, I'll be judging your submission today. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

So first off, your description of the ghostfire crystal in Special Features is a complete copy of the Wookiepedia description. Please restate this using your own words to avoid plagiarism.

Also, I am seeing several conflicts among your lightsaber crystals. First off, although the Ghostfire makes a crystal nearly invisible, Dantari and Qixoni crystals have color to them. In a standard lightsaber, it could be argued that only a primary lightsaber crystal will affect the color, however since you are using a dual phase this isn't the case.

Also the Dragite crystal makes sound when struck. In the Unique Capabilities Strength you said the blade is nearly silent. While this may be true with activating and deactivating, it is not true while the weapon is being struck, this needs to be reflected in that strength.

In the description you hint that certain crystals are used when in and out of full power mode. While I like this idea, you cannot have a lightsaber that is both nearly undetectable, as well as extremely powerful. It's too unbalanced.

My end decision is there are too many crystals inside of the lightsaber, for a lightsaber of this design there should be about 2 crystals. Please pick, at most, three lightsaber crystals to use in this submission, any more than that is just too much for this type of lightsaber.

I've edited the post, removed the other crystals and instead using three ghostfire crystals in the role of focusing, secondary (dual phase) and primary. Hope these are sufficient.
