On the morning after Life Day, a nondescript box wrapped in black flimsiplast was delivered directly to the House Decoria residence. Within the box itself, a smaller, secondary box was packed inside, this one covered in a discreetly-placed sensor deflector net that adhered to the box like a laminate. Inside the secondary box was the gift itself, albeit in a disassembled state for the intended recipient to put together on her own.

It was the Hydrangea Moonblade.

Spare diatium power cells and a small maintenance kit had been included with the weapon as well. However, upon taking everything out, the recipient would find a small flimisiplast note enclosed, which gave the name of the gift’s giver (Lucia Naberrie), a set of coordinates that led to an isolated clearing in a forest not too far from the House Decoria residence, and a specific date and time.

A proposed meeting.

Three Days Later

Lucia had taken a risk in traveling to Alliance space. While the gynoid wasn’t nearly famous, she had recognized that there was a distinct possibility of her face being recorded in a database after her clash with the Jedi on Odacer-Faustin. That made the circumstances of this potential meeting even more odd now, owing to the fact that the gynoid considered Lily Decoria to be a friend, of sorts. While she had initially thought that their encounter on Osseriton would be their first and last meeting, on hearing that the Echani had underwent a stint of imprisonment at the hands of the savage Mandalorians, Lucia had been unable to purge her apprehension regarding the matter from her cognitive processors.

Unfortunately, Lucia had been unable to do anything to remedy the situation while it was happening. And yet, that was why she was here now. To prevent such a disaster from happening again.

In essence, Lucia intended to see to it that Lily reached her potential as the Firedancer that she was destined to become.

A gift had surprised Lily. It had come out of the blue and Lily had no idea that there would be a present for her. Especially since Life Day had past and her birthday was weeks away. Seeing the note about arranging a meeting, Lily tilted her head, thinking that she hadn't really shown much to be interested in, at least Lily had not thought of her skills back then as being that impressive. Especially in comparison her skills were with the Force and with combat. Lily was much more adept at fighting and she was much better with the Force. Even having her own fully constructed Lightsaber.

Though it seemed that she would have two that she could use. And they were both very different styles. Lily's mind whirled excitedly with the thoughts. This meant that she was free to use a variety of fighting techniques, adapt in battle fluidly and most of the time she could come across in one style, then pull out the second blade when in dire need to switch her style.

Lily was already organising her training sessions to be more fluid and to adapt styles from techniques such as Jar'Kai and techniques that favoured a Lightsaber staff as well. Lily was quick to plan things out and ensure that she was going to be one of the best fighters that the Jedi Order had seen. She was keen on blending her Echani fighting styles in combat as well. Wanting to use her heritage as well as the new ways she had learnt recently to develop her fighting styles.

3 days later.

Approaching the clearing, Lily hadn't trained much with the new weapon since there wasn't much time between receiving the gift and the meeting date. However, she had started formulating ways to use it and how to use both this new blade and her own Lightsaber that she forged with her Master. It was important that she could use both in combat with her crossguard as the primary Lightsaber. Looking around for Lucia, her newly acquired Hydrangea Moonblade was hidden under her left tasset, strapped to her thigh, while her crossguard Lightsaber was clipped to her belt. This was to give the appearance of only having a single Lightsaber to hand, when she had a second at the ready.

"Greetings Lucia, it is good to see you again." Lily smiled politely.
