- The Gills of Destiny is a sticker to place against the wielder's skin.
- The Gills of Destiny sticker is square, and after it's applied, it changes in appearance so that it looks like gills are drawn against the wielder's skin.
- While the Gills of Destiny sticker is intact, the wearer will be able to breathe and move underwater just as they can above.
- Once applied, the Gills of Destiny will last for 18 hours unless harmed. After that it will fall off on its own.
- The Gills of Destiny come in packages of 10, 50, and 100.
- The sticker can be applied underwater as well, no need to put it on in advance.
- The wielder can wear heavy armor, equipment, or clothes over the sticker without its efficiency being damaged.
- Each sticker can only be used once.
- Under extreme circumstances, the sticker may be damaged.
- Not eco-friendly.
- The sticker does not provide protection against water pressure, so protective gear is mandatory if you're going deep enough.
Not all battles happen on the ground or in the air. Sometimes, you need to send people into the water, and while they're there, you want them to be functional and capable of breathing.
This is exactly what the scientists of the Scintilla had in mind as they set to create the Gills of Destiny. Not forgoing a touch of aesthetics that is borderline silly enough to be expected with the Agents of Chaos welcome package, the sticker takes on the appearance of drawn-on gills once applied.
As long as the sticker is in place, the person who wields it will be able to move and breathe underwater as though they were on land. Each application will ensure that for 18 hours, after which the sticker becomes unusable and slides off the skin. If clothes are keeping it in place, it will still stop working. Re-application can be done underwater and there's no limit to how many can be on someone's body at any given time, but there's no added benefit to having multiple active stickers.
