Description: In Lord Fa’s youth he traveled through the Galaxy. But no matter what, he always found his way back to the ancestral homes of his people, the Gordian Reach.
One day, he came across a world, within the isolated pockets of the Hard Roil. He came across people, Cragmoloids, but slightly different. They told him of their tale after much coaxing and earning their trust by the way of familial connections.
Once… centuries ago they were part of the Cragmoloid civilization on Ankus. But their clans and families left after the Empire’s defeat and they realized that their home was no longer the splendor they once remembered.
They found their way to the Reach, much the same as the Thirrikens once had, and colonized this little moonlet of theirs.
But after the malaise of the Gulag Plague and in the past two decades they found themselves isolated. They had lost their ability for spaceflight, their sensors and communication systems ruined and their air filters barely working any longer.
A few more generations and these people would no longer be here.
If Lord Fa was anything it was an enterprising individual who could see opportunity in many a thing. He promised them aid and within a week - after calling upon his father - the Fa Family arrived again. This time at the head of a great merchant fleet loaded with supplies in the form of medicine, food and a lifeline away from this barren rock.
They took it and a life-debt was sealed that day.
Their loyalty was now to Fa Family and when the young Tai Fa became the Lord Fa they pledged themselves to protect him and his, as they had protected his father and his interests.
The Golden Guard can be found protecting most of the non-clandestine operations of Lord Fa. They are strong, big and burly, can take a lot of punishment and in close-combat are a nightmare to deal with. But they need specialized equipment to be of any use in a ranged environment and tight corridors are the last thing they want to find themselves in.
