Ghorua the Shark
Sal Katarn
Karkosuchus
Cass Gemini
Sisserith
Kardek wiped some of the blood off his face with the back of his hand as the beast fell at his feet, a look of annoyance etched across his features at getting it’s blood on his otherwise-perfectly kept face.
There was a part of him that hated being here… hating that he no longer worked for himself… resenting everything about his current life which looked like a distorted shadow of who he use to be. But none of that mattered anymore. He was just a hired blaster now… with no real reputation in this sector of the galaxy. Kardek had been forced into rebuilding everything from the ground up once again, and the smell of these dead carcasses that surrounded them was the ever-present reminder of all that he had lost, and who he had been forced to become…
A nobody… an irrelevant… an unknown…
BLAM
He placed his boot on top of the corpse and fired one more round into its scull for the sake of letting off a little more of his own steam. His eyes shifted as
Cass Gemini
joined them, Alpha flinching as they blasted over his shoulder at another creature. Kardek chucked, then paused as he looked over the specimen that stood in front of him, a look of interest was undeniable in his eyes.
Suddenly his day seemed brighter, as if the sun of a distant system was rising and warming his embittered and brittle heart.
“So...” He said, pointing his blaster at the others in procession as he rattled off their names,
“Ghorua… Sal…” Then his blaster pointed at the woman clade in provocative Mandalorian armor, his eye brow raising as he put on his best swagger and rustic charm,
“… and who might you be?” His eyes traveled up and down her form with interest, before holstering one of his blasters and turning to the others rather casually,
“I’m Kardek. He’s Alpha.” He nodded in the IG-88 droids direction, causing the droid to whirr a pleasant noise as it looked around at everyone, apparently excited to be making new friends.
As
Karkosuchus joined the party, being particularly bloodied but not by his own liquids, the gunslinger shook his head in amazement at his present company, beginning to feel a bit out of place as he was not a monstrous creature by any stretch of the imagination. But then again, his odds with the Mando chick were beginning to look promising…
unless she preferred seafood, that is.
He nodded at
Sisserith as she made her presence known, drawing out his second blaster again as they all turned to face the incoming hostiles alerted to them by
Ghorua the Shark
.
“We got right!” He barked as the enemy rounded the corner, both blasters igniting in a steady stream of devastation.

Alpha stood next to him, his heavy repeater cannon an unrelenting stream of suppressive blaster fire. The creatures screamed as their bodies were rattled by the incoming fire, some falling as they stormed towards the eclectic group.
