HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Graywall was once the home of Lord Vicarion Grayson, a Jedi Lord within the Army of Light. Grayson was the first of his family to feel the force, and soon found himself at a high position within Lord Hoth's army. The young Grayson was active enough in the war to secure his own holdings, and even a small private military to serve him. Eventually he found a wife in a Jedi Healer named Clarice, and the two started a family.
By the end of the war, Vicarion had grown disillusioned with the Republic. Rather than abide by the Ruusan Reformation, Vicarion chose to sever his ties with the Jedi Order. Now free to do as he wished, Vicarion used the resources he'd garnered during the war to build the Graywall.
Initially, the Graywall's purpose was to monitor Ruusan for signs of Sith activity. As the years went by, it transformed more into a family home, with a community of Vicarion's followers forming around its walls. No trouble came to light however, and Vicarion began to take his eldest daughter out into the galaxy to continue her tutelage as a Jedi. Eventually the two came across the seed of a force sensitive tree, which they then planted at the heart of the Graywall. This tree would come to be known simply as the Oak, and it would provide the Graysons with a connection to the primordial force so long as it lived.
Time passed slowly as it is wont to do. Eventually the Graysons reconnected with the Jedi Order and opened their home to its students. The Graywall served as a small academy for many years until the fall of the Old Republic. The castle was lost to the galaxy during the Jedi Purge, when the last man to have any knowledge of its location was shot in the back by his clone soldiers.
It was only recently that Graywall was rediscovered by the children of its creators. With the opening of the netherworld, creatures from beyond the void found their way back into reality. One of those creatures coalesced into the spirit of the late Vicarion, who presented himself to Cedric Grayson in a dream shortly after the Dominion's fall.
After a brief conversation, Cedric agreed to visit the Graywall. Evidently the visit went rather well, as he has chosen to garrison the castle with his family's loyal house soldiers of the 501st legion.
Only time will tell what fate will befall the Graywall. One can only hope the changes will be positive.

SETTING INFORMATION
- Structure Name: The Graywall
- Classification: The Graywall began as a military hospital, and slowly evolved into a castle as well as the Graysons' place of residence for a time.
- Location: Ruusan
- Affiliation: Cedric Grayson, the Grayson Family
- Accessibility: The Graywall
- Security: The Graywall is garrisoned by members of the 501st Legion, though it is by no means a military outpost.
- Description: The Graywall is an ancient castle that has been restored dozens of times. It has been in the Grayson family since the conflict between the Army of Light and the Brotherhood of Darkness. Though terribly old, The Graywall still looks remarkably similar to the way it did centuries ago. The castle itself is rather large, and host the defenses required to protect itself from small raiding groups if required. the Graywall creates a calming presence similar to the Black Library, though it lacks the library's force nexus. There are rumors that the builder of the library was also the architect of the Graywall.
POINTS OF INTEREST
- Outer Courtyard: A rather standard courtyard often used for training drills as well as recreation. Three landing pads for shuttles are cloistered at the edge of the outer courtyard,
- Living Chambers: Nine different personal bedrooms, as well as two large barracks sections that houses the garrison.
- The Library: Much like the Black Library, the Graywall is home to a vast repository of ancient lore and lost history. This information is kept on books and datadiscs within the library that lies below the castle.
- BRT Chamber: A massive BRT computer has been running the Graywall for the past few century. No one knows how it got there or how it's been maintained all this time, but it seems to work like a new terminal all together. The BRT has full access to the entirety of the castle.
- The Oak: A massive force sensitive tree has grown in one of the chambers at the center of the Graywall. The tree makes it far easier for a force sensitive to reach out to the force if they are meditating beneath its branches.
- Mess Hall: Self-explanatory.
- Escape Tunnels: Numerous hidden tunnels dot the Graywall's structure. These tunnels can stretch on for miles beneath Ruusan's surface, and have been present since the Graywall's construction.
- Vicarion's Crystal Grove: The Jedi Lord Vicarion discovered a large crystal deposit when he fought on Ruusan. It was over this deposit that he decided to build the Graywall. The deposit has since been left virtually untouched, save for the occasional Jedi student that makes the journey down every other century.
- Garage: A large garage has been slapped onto the side of the castle. The garage can service anything as large as an AT-ST, and is usually kept well stocked.
- Crafting Chamber: A large hall in the Graywall's lower levels has been dedicated to the artifice of lightsabers and Jedi paraphernalia. Items can either be hand crafted at the various stations held within, or an order can be placed with the BRT for something to be created by the castle's droid caretakers.
- Council Room: A large room of stone sits at the top of the castle. A circular conference table sits at its center. It is here that talks ranging from military parlays to family dinners have taken place.
