The Great Crusade!

As discussed with the FO, the Dread Legions will be running our own dominions across the southeast. The goal is to bring more resources under GA control whilst also expanding the recruitment pool. These worlds will be held in fiefdom by Dreadguard forces unless a government is already in place, and will overall be under the Galactic Alliance's jurisdiction.

These threads will differentiate from the usual dominions as they will be faster paced. Objectives will be dramatized and grand: massive armies clashing, fleets of ships being destroyed in the skies, generally hosting a darker theme than the usual dominion.

If you are generally a slower poster, then these dominions may be a bit too much for you, and that's okay! The different posting speeds between members is part of the reason the crusade is becoming a thing -- the GA does not want to limit slower writers from telling their stories, and we don't want the lightning posters to hijack the story from others.

The first world on the menu is Mustafar. I expect it to be under alliance control within a day or so.

All Galactic Alliance members are encouraged to participate if they so desire. Help your brothers and sister paint the galaxy yellow.

As a note: We will continue to do dominions in our eastern front, around the center of our planets and those will welcome the DG but will also be slower paced for the rest of this faction to get some posts in.

We post fast because we're a little unhinged and deranged and it's fun to us. But no one, in any manner, is compelled to 'keep up' with us. Nor is it in an attempt to speed RP anyone out of a Story. If we finish a dom and you were wanting to execute a story? Just because we pushed it to reach 100 posts doesn't mean you can't write in it still to finish that story. That goes for the faster paced DG doms or any others. At 100 posts, it just means we can claim the planet on the hex-map. Nothing more, nothing less.

So please, if you can only post once in the Dom? But you want your guy to be there to do something, or help? Then feel welcome to go right ahead and post! If you can keep up with the pace, cool. If you can't, then we still want you there. And if you tell us in advance, we might be able to work a special task or mission in for you to finish at your own pace.

The Dreadguard are a brother-hood, and that holds true IC and OOC... These guys have seriously pushed my comfort levels (in a good way) with who Ijaat is and what he values, etc... They've also forced me to sleep and eat when a few of them realized I was using the board to ignore some personal issues.

Like I said... Brotherhood. No one gets left behind here...

Gives me hope for when we hit One Sith controlled space. A real taste of their own methods.
