The Grey Search

Location: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ando_Prime/Legends]Ando Prime
Time: 1432

Tydus was sent to on another mission by the force, it did not speak to him but it showed him the planes of the snowy planet. Using the force and his vision to find this planet. He landed in the main city of the planet of Ando Prime, a planet that was far away from the destruction of the Core Worlds. The surge of force energy he felt on the planet was powerful, it was almost disorienting, he never felt this before. He had heard rumors that a Light Side Force Nexus was located on this planet, and that was where he was to head.

It had been two days but he was sent here to locate another force ability training Database. The force wanted him to learn more about both sided of the force. His vision showed him Monks working in a temple above on a mountain top. It was strange his vision was so clear and the force was guiding him to this location. He still didn't know what was to happen to him, or what the force had planned, but he would follow it, he would seek truth and knowledge and put his trust in the Force, like his master had told him.

He reached the top of a mountain range that the locals called, Andobi Mountain. He took his hood off and revealed his face, his silver eyes matched the snow, his brown skin was the only border that shows the difference from his eyes and the snow. The stubble on his chin and jaw were also defined as his neck and body were covered by a white and grey robe and scarf. He looked up to see a large temple covered in snow, a pyramid type building that on Conglomerate Prime, was this as well built by the Rwa. Tydus started his track to the entrance of the Temple, the force was getting strong in this area.

Drogh had found him self on this snow world. Why was he here? To find some acient thing, what ever it was. He was vaguley told here and there, heard some rumors here and there. Drogh had little idea of what it was, or where it was but that was only part of his trail.

Drogh had landed on this icey ship, instead of any formal landing pad, he had docked his ship in a rather large cave to avoid it being seen or known.
Drogh had felt strange when he first came here, yet again these feeling were mild and didn't seem to bother him. Nothing more then fear of straving, fear of freezing, fear of dying in general is what had plagued his mind most of the time. He wished to make no contact with the urban people and made great lengths to not be seen or heard from by anyone, yet he needed clues, he needed an idea of where to look. Gaining information was part of his life, it had always been his life.

Tydus walked the through the valley leading to the medium size temple, it lead him by a rather large cave, but not paying attention he didn't notice a ship parked there. He was too focused on the force vibrating from the area around the temple. He needed to see what was making this strange feeling he was getting. He also needed to learn what the force had in store for him.

There was a small disturbance in the force, but Tydus was to interested in the object before his eyes that he didn't sense the Dark Side near him, growing from someones state of fear.

Drogh was honnestly utterly shocked, he had heard footstebs and hid as soon as he did, in the dark crepts of the cave he hid and to his utter surprise the man did not even notice him, was Drogh a very good hider or was this man a utter idiot? He began to eye the man, crouching down hiding in the shadows, his cloak like a shield to cover him from the robotic stares of this being. As Drogh focused on the man, or what ever it was he felt some thing pulling at him, pulling at the robotic man. He was following it aswell, did Drogh land in the right place at the right time? Honnestly Drogh wasn't doing much to hide him self, but he did use the force as a cloak in a sense, numbing his force as he tried to halted it. He wasn't good at Force stealth, but it came almost natural to him, for his constant desire to hide and never be found.

Drogh simply watched the foolish metal man as he walked by, Drogh had the desire to follow and he did just that, his feat being nimble and soft, gaining on him like a hidden blade in the night, where would this man lead him?

Tydus continue to walk forward... Forward, why was he being called to this temple. The force was becoming stronger as he approached this building, and it became bigger. As he approached closer he no cited at the base of the temple were tents, small cloth tenet. Around those tenets he saw shadows walk around them, with only smaller fires lighting up their outlines. As he approached them, and took his eyes off the temple, it vanished, disappeared into the wind as the wind blew it away. He tried to focus and loon for it, but it was gone, as if it didn't exist. Why did the force bring him here? Was it playing with his hopes, his beliefs?

He had more questions then answers, and that was not why he put his trust in the force. The force was truth and... And.... And.

As these questions arose in his head, a voice cut through the howling wind and approached from the shadows of the snowy covered hill. "So the Force sent you." Tydus was startled But did not show it, he looked over to where the voice originated, he knew this species, native to the planet. These were Talid, hairy like creatures that were very peaceful. This one however was different, he felt the presents of the force within the creature. The Talid looked past Tydus and behind him, looking at [member="Drogh"], "As well as you."

Two other Talids appeared behind Drogh, not hostile, but just standing there. "You will come with me" waving his hands to have them both follow him.

Drogh was taken off gaurd, some thing he did not like in the slighest, rage filled in his heart, if only briefly as he span around, like a black tornado confronting the Talid, inraged by him Drogh drew his DL-18 blaster on the creature, pointing it towards the Taild, his mind was racing in fear, who was he? Was he exepcting him, the other one who was he, was he expecting him also? His mind became a podrace, a volient podrace with a sand storm in the middle of it all.

Drogh hated it all, the cold depths of the cave, with the drips of water and the ever prestend footstebs, who ever this creature was he was expecting both then robotic man and Drogh, some thing was very, very wrong. Drogh wasn't going to accpet this, oh no Drogh does not trust not a single soul, trust is weakness.

"I will do no such thing, whom ever you are." Drogh spitefully spat out in cold words as he held his blaster towards the creature.

Tydus was surprised by [member="Drogh"] appearance, he must have been to distracted to notice he was so near him. He needed to stay more focused, until that was that the hooded man brought out a blaster. He thought the Talid would become hostile, he looked for some cover and was about to move. Then he noticed it, the older Talid stopped walking, but was still facing away from them. The other two were still standing there with a thousand yard stare. They were not fazed by these actions, almost expected it really.

The older Force User Talid turned its head, "The force brought you and this Grey Wonderer here to be trained, trained to control your emotions and use the Dark Side of the Force, if you don't trust me, then trust in the force."

Tydus had always trusted in the force, that was why he was here, if he could teach him to make the Dark Side a tool instead of something to fear, then he would follow the male creature. How would the other man respond?

Drogh was beyound annoyed now, this being here was trying to sound 'wise' when in truth it made little to no sense, trust in the force? "I am not here to be tought anything." He said firmly, his voice as hard as ice it's self, bitter and cold words that breathed out of his metal mask. Drogh looked towards the robotic man, this was the 'Grey Wanderer", a silly title yet in this Galaxy everyone has silly titles. Drogh walked towards the creature, he had a shadow apprence, like a ghost looming over the living, holding his blaster towads the creature. "If you knew I would be here, you must know what I'm looking for, show me or I kill you." Drogh was at his end with this creature, he would exepct another 'wise quote' from the Taild, he honnestly rather see it die.

Drogh after making his threat decied to turn around to the man, "Who are you?" he said bluntly, he was not going to drown anyone in nonsence, he wanted to know what was going on, because this was all, very very strange.

Tydus was still a little shocked to see [member="Drogh"] here, he figured he would be alone here, training with the ancient Dai Bandu. But now he was looking at the face of a strange man who just happened to be on the planet with him, or did he follow him since he left his base. This whole ordeal was a bit to fast for him to follow.

"Tydus, my names Tydus, a Grey Wonderer, I'm here to see the Dai Bandu, to teach me the ways of the da...."

Tydus didn't even finish as the elderly Force User reached out with the force and began strangling Drogh, then pulled his weapon away like a magnet when it flew into his. The other two Talids walked past them both, they walked tword the camp that was ahead of them. The Talid spoke with a little more annoyance in its voice, "You seek power, and strength, to not be seen as weak ever again, the force tells all if you listen close enough, as for you grey Wonderer, you seek to control the urges of the dark side, to make both light and dark a tool to understand all, you both have opposite goal, but have converged on the same path, train or leave, the force guides but does not make decisions for you."

The Talid dropped the weapon, and as the weapon fell, so did Drogh. The shadowy figure hit the floor, snow blew up into the sky as his body made an indent in the ground. Tydus didn't know what to do, he just knew he wanted to follow the Talid.

Drogh fell down, a slumping shadow in the dark crepts of the cave, he clencthed his fists not expecting it. Drogh finally got back up, taking heavy breaths as he was just strangled, still angry yet he knew better, he shoundn't have gotten angry he shoundn't have lashed out like he did, he should of waited. Waited for a better moment to strike, yet Drogh still believed he could kill them, simply play ones cards right, play the right tricks and before you know it, corpses will litter the cave. Yet Drogh had to be weary about them, keep a close eye and perhaps, allience him self with whom ever this 'Grey Wandere', if they knew that much about the robotic man, how much did they know about Drogh?

Drogh began to step towards the robotic man, perhaps feeling safer around him, just incase another fight was to break out, he might have a allie by his side. [member="Tydus Wryeens"]

Tydus was in close walking distance behind the Talid, [member="Drogh"] close behind him. It was still quite a sits for away and so he wanted to ask questions, "Who are you? Where are the Dai Bandu?"

The elderly Talid didn't give his name, but still spoke, "I am the last of the Dai Bandu, last of the lost tribe of Tython, and the Je'daii, keepers of the balance of the force, yet we have failed in our duties, so we no longer go by those names."

Tydus looked down sadly, the force sent him to the very last survivor of the Dai Bendu, he looked up at the elderly man, "Will you teach me the ways of the Dark Side of the Force, I have been unbalanced, I wish to become Dai Bendu."

The elderly stopped in his steps, turned to face Tydus and made eye contact with the man. They were now outside, in the cold wind, the snow was falling and his fur blew in the breeze. Tydus with his robe and hood also blew in the breeze, looking like a small blizard they stood there and said nothing. It was the Talid that broke the silence with a single word, "No." The Talid looked over to Drogh, "What is it you seek from me, Drogh, the force tells me to train you, but not what you seek."

Drogh was in no mood, he was fed up with the entire affiar, yet he dared not leave without what he came for. Whom ever these people were or what ever acient order they are or were apart of ment very little to Drogh. Drogh snapped in a low tone, that was calmer and far less threating, yet still had a bitter undertone to it. "I have no business with you, what ever you are, you are not my teachers." Drogh was however certain that what he was looking for, was most defiently here, as they must have been expecting him, knowing he would come here, meaning there must be atleast some thing worth gaurding? Drogh was appeasing him self, yet a doubt in his mind was there, thinking that this was just a wasted effort, with no meaning nor point to it.

Tydus didn't even look at [member="Drogh"], he just stared at the Talid. He was told by the force to gathers here, train to gain balance in the force and become a stronger Force User. He figured that meant to become a Dai Bendu, become a member of a society of Force Users that studies the force. How was he not good enough! Anger began to flow through his body, dark side energy vibrated from his body. He looked up at the man, then asked his question, "Why?

The elderly man took his eyes away from Drogh, then looked to Tydus, "Your emotions are not trained to be controlled, you flail like a child when you don't get your way, you loose control and fall to one side of the force shuffling to gain balance again, you need to learn complete balance before becoming a Dai Bendu," he looked over to Drogh, "You, if you will not become my student, then you will become my tool, you will become his partner in learning the ways of the Dark Side of the Force and how to contol it."

He turned back around to continue to walk to the city of tents.

Drogh had stebbed out of line, he knew this well. He had to regain footing with them, if he ever wanted to gain any sense of knowlage, his eyes were cold and calauting, they had turned out to be more aggresive then Drogh would have suspected. So he slumped down his pride, of which he hadn't of much anyways and nodded. "Teach me, master." The word master came out hard to say, as if it was a some vemon that he was choking on, but covered well by a fasle sense of domience he gave off. Drogh would not bow his head unless he needed to, to get behind their backs. They had no wisedom, isloated for years on end does not breed wisdom like many think, if he knew anything about the galaxy, isolation breeds weakness. These were just some smug "Dai Bendu", not important, not worth a second glance, if even acknowagement of existance at all. Drogh would be so much more then cave dwelling monks in a freezing planet that was cut of from the endless void of space.

The idea of 'balance' is rather humorus, the Jedi and the Sith, the light and the dark, inbetween, what does it really matter? Who is to judge whom and why we use the force? If we are force senstive we should be free to use the force how we want surely, without one side claiming their form to be superior. He always hated the Jedi and the Sith for their superioty complexs, one taking the moral high-ground, believeing to be he saviors of the unverise, the other claiming to be the rightful rulers of the unveirse. The force doesn't care why or how you use he force, just use it or don't. Just because you use both the light and the dark doesn't mean you have found the 'truth' of the force, it just means you use the light and the dark.

Drogh was thinking about this, all about this.[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

The Talid looked at both Tydus and [member="Drogh"], he would have to train the both of them. This was not his wish, but it was the wish of the force, and only it knew the reason as to why. He looked down at Tydus, the man was angered by the fact he had said now to him, yet it was the truth and the Talid would not lie to his students. He looked down at the angered man, "Because you are only gray in name, you have not comleted full balance of light and dark, to be a Dia Bendu, you must complete full balance."

He looked over Drogh, "It would seem you also have darkness in your soul, I can feel it pulsating off your body and twords me, it unsettles this place, the Nexus we enter will give you power of near unimaginably proportions." He walked off tword the camp area, and Tydus didn't have anything to say, he knew he was unbalanced, but that is why he came here. Now he was having a overgrown ball of fur tell him he wasn't good enough. He would prove the grumpy old Bantha dung different. He follows close behind, ready to be taught.

Two Months Later

It was two months later and training was going very annoyingly. The old mans annoyance with how slowly the two of them were picking up his training had upset him. The elderly Tarid had given them his name after constant asking, it was Ada Tenorm, it took Tydus weeks to Acturally say it correctly.

Tydus was now sitting in a tent with Drogh, they were eating some soup that wasn't very good and tasted more like hot water with bread that was harder then stone, but they had been eating it. He looked over at the man before him, they hadn't really spoken much in their time training, so Tydus decided to strike up some conversation, "So what brought you to this frozen rock?"

Drogh had spent little time actually training with the master, making direct efforts to avoid the old alien. A mounth had passed by and he felt his fear mold into anger and impatience. Much of his time was sent mapping out the cave, all the corners, where ever he could find anything at all. Drogh was certain, almost certain that these aliens were hiding some thing, some thing worth of power. These beings had to be hear, why else would they stay here if they had nothing to hold on too? Drogh was growing paranoid, impatient and angry by each passing day, he was ready to personally strangle those aliens with his bare bloody hands. Yet he was forced into a training here and there, he dreaded it. It made little to no sense and frankly Drogh didn't care. Drogh doesn't care about this and that, Drogh only cares about finding screts lurking in hidden shadows, what are they, where are they? These thoughts pass his mind constantly, all the time.

This robotic man, what an idiot to get mechianl implants when one is force senstive, the force needs living tissue to flow though the body and this man here was stupid enouth to get mechinal implants. Now this naive idiot wanted to speak with Drogh? Drogh was not the type to talk for any social reasons, and when he rarely does he pefers to talking to some one that isn't a utter idiot.

The cave was always freezing, the fires were dim and the smoke from them made Drogh hate the smell, it was not a chemcial smell of raw acidic smell that he had grown to enjoy, but was a rather harsh firey charcoal smell which was awful. The ground was cold, his feat were num, at times rampant shaking would take hold of Drogh at times driving him competely insane. His anger, was feeding his dark side, feeding him to lash out, yet he was a master of control. Yet all these time away from the outside world has allowed Drogh to reflect, what plagues his mind his dead parents, so he takes his sorrow and greif and turns it into power. Yet self control is what he was teaching him self, he had to hold it all in, "in time" he said to him self.

All this going in his mind Drogh paid the metal man no attention, instead pouring his soup onto the floor, he was straved on Tatoonie, he could go with a few more days without anything else, besides there was snow.
[member="Tydus Wryeens"]

The man Tydus was trying to speak to, [member="Drogh"], did not seem interested in speaking with him. That was fine by him, he enjoyed talking to walls, plus he had started to learn the native sign language of the Talids. It was very complicated, but after two months of watching these beings he got bored after training, so that was what he did to pass the time. He was hearing.... Or rather seeing interesting conversations between some of the Talids. He decided to let that be the subject of speaking between the two men.

He looked around to see if any of the Talids were around. The camp was tight nit, but none really came around the two outsiders. They were in the clear and so he spoke, "Well in that case, I won't tell you about the secrete scrolls I saw the Talids talking about earlier today."

He turned to finish his really bad soup and rock hard bread.

Drogh had little patience, he was annoyed by this little snarky comment, trying to provoke him. Drogh was not easy to provoke, he hid all of his anger under a cloak of darkness, only a vague sense of distain could be felt around this man. When in truth the hate of every thing was borderline nihilistic, his madness was growing, the constant desire for knowlage and to leave this place, was smashing into each other. Drogh felt as if he was going to explode in a fury of anger and rage, yet he coundn't quite imgain him self doing it. Perhaps was the most impressive feat was the fact Drogh was keeping this feelings of rage and anger hidden for such a long time. Drogh wanted to break the robotics man neck for even coming close to him, yet self restraint was keeping him in line and a somewhat calm. A quick twitching in the eye, under his mask was all that all his anger and hate was shown, as he asked in a simple and naive voice, yet had a small coating of unyielding hatred for the man. "What?".

[member="Drogh"]

Tydus nearly dropped his bowl as the man spoke. He could feel the dark side energy that fell from his lips as he spoke, and making him seem more ghoulish then human. He had never been near someone who was filled with so much dark energy, it was rather interesting, and slightly fearful in its own way. This moment he would freeze for a second and then look for words that didn't escape his mouth.

He shuffled in his seat, making the ground beneath him shift and roll. He looked into the depths of his mind to search what he was trying to say. A second later he remembered and nodded to the masked man. "Well fine then, if your gana be so grumpy about it," He placed the bowl of soup and bread to the side. "I saw some Talids signing about some kind of scroll that speak about something the Talids called 'Je'daii', I'm not sure what it means so I'm asking you if you know anything about these words?"

Drogh

Guest
Drogh was puzzled, the Je'daii? Or how ever he was prenoucing it in his mind, it sounded almost like "Jedi". Those old aliens had mentioned them, Tython and the Je'daii, yes Drogh knew a tiny bit of infomation. All that Drogh knew is that the Je'daii was the founding fathers of the Sith and the Jedi, or atleast that is what he believed. They were a order so long ago that was more or less any historian could really figure out, unless one was to dwell deep into early Sith or Jedi holocrons. Even then their history was vague, was these mad monks lying or did they have some connection with them? A old and long dead order, well the Bendu seemed to be a old and nearly dead order, perhaps they did have connections. Drogh's hate was almost fading as he began to dwell more on this, his impatience was qwelled for the time being as his mind drooled about what this ment. Yet a quick fit of anger soon passed his mind, as words like "They are hiding then truth" passed his mind like a speeding slug, it was all true. These old monks defiently were hiding some thing after all, Drogh was now certain. Why was this man stupid enouth to share him with this infomation? Drogh had an idea, the man althogh vaguley talking to him seemed to trust Drogh enouth with this infomation, so perhaps a converstation was nesscary, perhaps this idiot wasn't stupid, or atleast not as stupid then Drohg expected. Drogh knew of many hiding places within the cave, some of which the aliens never ventures too.

Drogh was smiling, he coundn't help it, he was happy, very happy that the man had shared this infomation with him. Drogh said in words that were as still as stone, "Follow me, those monks hear alot more then you think." Drogh gestered outwards of the camp as he walked towards the end of it, waiting for the robotic man to follow suit.
