- Strengths & Weaknesses: The Grotthu Legionaries are an extremely loyal force of soldiers, and highly efficient in combat situations under proper leadership. They are extremely strong and resilient in combat even without their armor, and will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the cause. However, they have limited free will and thinking, and will only carry out the most basic tasks on their own. In battle, they have to be given specific orders on how to react, otherwise they will default to their standard orders. Legionaries will not take initiative in combat, and are unable to use most forms of vehicles, as their mind cannot handle all the added complexities that come with operating such craft.
- Description: The Grotthu Legion is the amalgamation of several months of testing and editing by Darth Animus to create a new line of Honor Guard for the Dark Council. Each Legionary is originally a slave drawn from the slave pens across the Empire. They are then tested and put through a grueling training regime on the world of Rhigar. There is a mortality rate of nearly ninety percent among the slaves, but the few that do survive are excellent specimens of both physical and mental discipline. They are then taken to a small chamber on Rhigar where they are subjected to torments by several Sith Sorcerers, until the minds and wills of the slaves are broken. When they emerged from the chamber, their old lives are forgotten, and all that remains are new Grotthu Legionaries. Following this, they are divided into one of two divisions. The Honor Guard and Line Infantry. The Honor Guard are assigned to members of the Dark Council to serve as their personal defenders at all times, following any orders given without question. The second group are assigned to the Line Infantry, the far more numerous of the two divisions. This force numbers in the thousands, and is deployed in mass when a Dark Council member takes the field themselves, most often the Emperor's Rage, Darth Animus. This second division is known as the Grotthu Legion itself.
