STRENGTHS
  • Raw Power: Even without the enhancements of the Force, The Gun possesses great advantages in a firefight thanks to its Tibanna gas. While not capable of the sheer destructive power of other weapons utilizing similar ammunition due to its smaller size, it is still capable of easily blasting apart organics and robotics.
  • Conduit for Improvement: The Lignan crystal and the weapon's base sorcerous origins enhances the dark side capabilities of its wielder, thus grant Bartholomew increased power in combat as he wields the weapon.
    • A Tool for Casting: In combat, Bartholomew can channel his augmented power through The Gun itself, utilizing a chaotic combination of the Lignan crystal's energy and the sorcery to blast projectiles of TK and Force Lightning amongst a host of abilities unique to the weapon itself. This gives him the element of surprise as lightsaber-wielding foes will except a blaster bolt, and instead be hit by pure Force energy.
    • Rift Opening: By fully channeling his augmented Force power and the sorceries used to craft the gun, Bartholomew can blast open temporary Rifts into the Netherworld and summon spirits and creatures to aid him in combat. Bartholomew can additionally open multiple rifts (to a maximum of five) and use them to travel across the battlefield.
WEAKNESSES
  • Reliance: Having wielded it for so long, Bartholomew has become incapable of using his natural active Force powers without wielding the weapon. This makes it incredibly dangerous to lose the weapon in combat as he will then only be capable of lightsaber combat, which he is not all that skilled at.
  • Low Ammunition and Fire Rate: As a weapon intended to be used purposefully and with caution, each shot must be aimed carefully as a single missed attack can turn the tide against Bartholomew. This goes doubly so when utilizing the Lignan crystal as it severely lessens the ammunition capacity due to the risk of overusing the crystal and damaging it.
  • Backfiring Instability: Existing as an anchor for the material world and the Netherworld, The Gun is highly unstable and is almost always in a fifty-fifty percent chance of backfiring on its wielder. This seems especially so for Bartholomew whose mindset seems to negatively affect the operation of the gun, increasing its chances to a near sixty-forty percent chance of backfiring.
    • Misfires: The weapon's most common backfire is simply not firing at all or sending the blaster bolt in the completely wrong direction of its intended victim.
    • The Netherworld Rifts: If the weapon backfires on him, there is an inherent risk of opening a Rift to the Netherworld inside himself, tearing him apart and devouring his soul. Additionally, attempting to use the Rifts to travel across the battlefield poses its own risks as he can end up
    • Untameable Beasts: Should Bartholomew open the Rifts incorrectly (a near-certainty in hectic combat) and thus summon from the Netherworld incorrectly, those he intended to serve as his allies will instead turn on him and attempt to pull him into their hellscape to suffer for eternity.
DESCRIPTION
Crafted through ancient sorceries and dipped into the deepest miasmas of the Netherworld, "The Gun" is a destructive weapon in the hands of any Darksider. In the hands of one as horrifically deviant and skilled as Bartholomew Cain, a man who cares only for himself at the earliest convenience, it is a monstrosity of unprecedented power and lethality.

While in its standard blaster mode, "The Gun" possesses the raw power of Tibanna gas that can ruin the body of its victims with ease. Alternatively, Bartholomew can activate its channeling mode. In this mode, Bartholomew can combine the boost gained from the Lignan Force Crystal's innate energy with the weapon itself to create semi-physical blasts of his power. From enhanced telekinesis, Force Lightning, to even Netherworld Rift opening and summoning, "The Gun's" power is almost incomparable when its full potential is cast.

However, with this power comes great risks. Almost malevolently sentient, the weapon holds no qualms with turning on its operator and will work against him at the most inopportune times. This has resulted in Bartholomew delving much farther into the Dark Side than he originally intended, leading to his now irreversibly corrupted features and motives, much to the weapon's violent delight.

Regardless of this, however, Bartholomew continues to wield the weapon in combat alongside an emergency lightsaber and a host of other weapons.

Oh my this is certainly creative I shall give you that but fundamentally shooting the force has been denied because of the potential of abuse. Teleportation is a tricky one as well and in general would be something hard to get through without a mechanical means to control it. A weapon using the force and does it by opening more netherworld rifts which was controlled by staff generally where they opened.

The changes and rewrites for this would fundamentally change the submission and after discussion this is going to be denied on concept. This would even when the factory allowed some of the most powerful things to be made wouldn't have allowed this.... okay maybe Ashin would have because he would have already devised a dozen ways to counter and control it if Wheatons Law was broken.

you maybe submit a second chance request if you believe this ruling unfair but I would recommend adjusting and lowering some of the power of this weapon.
