- Helldrive
- Cold Hard Cache smuggling compartment
- Rigger Table
- Excellent mobile workshop, including an old ORC Rigger Table for transforming salvage into usable components.
- Helldrives "safely" propel vessels through the darkest reaches of Chaos (or "Hell"), expediting travel and avoiding crowded lanes.
- Superb smuggling compartment concealed from sensors. A
greatplace to hide from ghosts. - Bright yellow, highly visible.
- The unstable Helldrive can be very fast...
- ...or very slow.
- Expecting consistency from a realm of spirits is a fool's gambit; oddities are commonplace and can be harmless or horribly deadly.
- Since Helldrives piggyback on a ship's Hyperdrive for important functions, interdiction fields can keep them from activating.
- Helldrives produce a comforting "red-tinted Hyperspace" visual illusion; fluctuations may lead to insane crewmen.
- Mildly haunted, even in realspace.
- Bright yellow, highly visible.
Jerec patched this ship together out of pieces of a dozen ships and vehicles, primarily salvage that he couldn't sell. He initially used it as a mobile salvage base and workshop, ironing out the kinks and such.
Jerec did not put the Ortolan pin-up in the engine room. Try as he might, he can't remember whether it came with the bulkhead or whether it spontaneously appeared during hellflight.
Also, he saw Quekko — his long-dead Apokkan first mate, murdered by Jedi during a Kessel run — while using the Helldrive. It'll be painful to let go of this beautiful and deeply significant boat, but money is tight and life clucks on.
