- Like many objects of power created by Sith Alchemists, see for example Sith Swords and Talismans of Concentration, this arm was made to bolster the user's power, in this case primarily as it pertains to Healing and by extension other forms of biological manipulation, most notably certain types of Alchemy. Quite unlike most such objects, it was specifically scrubbed of Dark Side influences at the request of the intended recipient, which unfortunately negated the legendary durability associated with Sith Alchemy as well as much of its oomph in other areas. It does, however, provide a small but potentially significant edge in any application of Force Abilities and derivations thereof.
- Conduit of Power: As a living conduit of the Force, this arm will focus and greatly amplify the host's efforts to make use of Force Healing and by extension other forms of biological manipulation, such as certain types of Alchemy. This effect is present in a lessened form for other such abilities, affording the host a small but not insignificant advantage in a wide range of circumstances.
- Flesh and Bone: While imbued with significant mystical power, this arm is no more inherently resistant to physical harm than any other.
It was not every day that one of the Sith Order's master alchemists decided to create an object of power meant to help a Jedi, let alone a Jedi they had only recently met and owed no debts or obligations. Darth Prospero had never been a conventional Sith, however, and had most certainly never been able to resist the allure of an exciting new project.
To one such as he, getting Alchemised flesh to play ball with the energies of the Light was less annoying, more exciting.
Making use of one of Draxin Biomedical's more advanced bioengineering facilities, the Sith Lord set about nurturing forth a new and improved limb from genetic samples donated by the intended recipient, all the while gently guiding its development through subtle applications of Alchemy; once fully grown, all that remained was to keep it on ice until it could be surgically attached to the young Jedi.
Conveniently enough, its ability to bolster Force Healing should be more than sufficient to eliminate the risk of rejection and even scar formation.
