The Heir and The Admiral

It was not long after battle of Nibelungen that Seras would be chosen as heir by Mythos. A choice that was strange on the outside without context, Mythos seemed to put a certain kind of faith in the young woman. She had been there at Atrisia when it was raised to the ground and survived. She was at his resurrection and met him once again by 'chance' not long after and followed this up by performing exceptionally in the battle of Nibelungen. As for what Seras herself thought about all this after agreeing to it, overwhelmed would be a good word. It was no small thing to be told 'you are the heir of all this now' and her acceptance of that role weight heavily on her mind. Not in the manner of 'can i do it', but 'where do i start'. In the end she chose to seek the council of someone she had not yet met, but had aided them greatly in the last battle. [member="Kainan Wolfe"], the Admiral who had lead the Shrouded Republic to their aid. From what she had heard he was both an ally and a capable leader of men. So when Seras made her request to meet him, it was for two simple reasons. One was to simply get to know the man. They would surely be working together in the future as allies, so coming to an understanding would be good for them both. The second reason was to go over the strategy and tactics that had been used in their invasion. How they were done, what could have been done better, what needed to stay the same in the future. A lesson in tactics and strategy.

So it was that Seras would appear at the Command Center that was currently directing the majority of the overseeing for Nibelungen's new military. It was a well defended building and though she was not sure what its use had been before, not it was certainly imposing now if it had not been originally. That did not deter the young woman, Seras continuing to move at a steady pace after taking in the outside. She was garbed as ever in simple robes made up of a red inner layer, white in the middle and black over it. Her left eye was covered by a simple black eye patch, with golden drawing showing closed eyelids. On her left hip was a vibroblade and her right a blaster pistol. While she did not carry herself with the feeling of 'royalty', Seras did give off a feeling of being a person with a strong sense of purpose, of drive. Though what that was for was yet to be seen.

After going through a checkpoint Seras would be escorted to the main area of the command center at the heart of the compound. It was a room filled with monitors, intelligence officers, comms officers, intelligence analysts and even a Warrant Officer here and there. To call it busy was surely a understatement, but given how long they had been there this was not much of a surprise. Between Jedi Resistance remnants and other issues, they would likely be at this level of activity for quite a while to come. Amongst all the people and bodies how ever, Seras only looked for one and after a few moments she would find Wolfe and walk over. "Lord Wolfe, greetings. Work never ceases." She said with a quick glance over a nearby monitor that a officer was working at, before returning her single eyed gaze back to him, her grey eye's gaze steady, calm.

The man who led the Shrouded Republic on its two-year exodus was surprisingly younger than most people would initially believe him to be. Beneath the scars and the graying hair, was someone who was only a few years older than Seras Rose herself. But despite that, he certainly carried himself like a much older individual, one who has seen the worst that the galaxy had to offer.

He wore a crisp military uniform which bore the rank bars that marked him as Grand Admiral, the coat opened to expose the armored chestplate underneath. He was not wearing his signature fur-lined cloak, as the climate on Nibelungen was too warm for it, but that did little to detract from his imposing demeanor. Blaster pistol held within an old-fashioned leather holster and lightsaber hanging from his belt, Wolfe carried himself with the casual air authority of a natural and experienced leader. His very presence seemed to command respect.

When Seras arrived, Wolfe had just finished with a staff meeting, going over assignment schedules for the fleet, as well as an acquisitions list, as evidenced by the holograms and the information displayed on the various viewscreens. A list of requirements for a new class of Star Destroyer could be clearly seen on one screen, while another specifically outlined the acquisition order for three new Valiant-class Star Destroyers, like the one Wolfe was currently using as his flagship.

Wolfe looked up from the datapad in his hand when Seras greeted her, his intense, ice-blue eyes fixing on her as he responded. "Greetings, princess," he said, his voice deep and raspy. "That is so, indeed. Good work takes time, effort and dedication. How may I help you?" he asked.

Seras was not one who gave off any particular feeling to those who looked upon her, not upon a casual inspection. But those with more experience might see something else within her calm demeanor and soft spoken tones. A silent determination and inner focus that spoke volumes about the young woman. Is Kainan had heard of her battle against a Jedi Master and Padawan, he just might be able to guess how deep that focus and determination had already taken her... And perhaps how far it might take her in the future.

Seras was not surprised by the man's exceptional appearance, it was as expected if anything to her. Crisp and uniform, military and exceptionally strict looking. He was a rather intimidating man up close as one would expect. But so was Mythos and quite a few people she had met already. It did not mean she felt nothing from his presence, merely that the young woman already knew how to deal with such pressure. What she was not used to was being called 'Princess'. Sure, it was correct form of address and all but it still felt award. Given how she had started out life as an Orphan on Manaan, it was even amusing in a way. As her voice spoke it was in a decidedly feminine, calm tone. There was no edge to her voice but neither was it dull and disinterested. It was more like the wind, simple and plain while going where it willed. "I was hoping to go over a few things with you. Both on our original invasions plans of Nibelungen and our plans moving forward. As Heir, i would like to know the minds and ways of those i shall be working with." Seras already had a schedule with another person of interest, namely the Anubian Skorvek who she was going to be training with. She had little time to build connections so she was using what little time they did have as effictively and efficiently as she could.

With a side long glance, she looked at the schematics that showed a new class of Star Destroyer that was currently on screen. If they were there she would take a look at any estimates that could be seen. When she had been a Jedi, Seras had been quite at home helping work on ships and while it had never turned into a full out 'job', she was fairly well acquainted with them in general. "It would pair well with the Angramar's. Similar speeds, designs that offset the others weaknesses.." She mused lightly to herself in a pleased sort of way before returning her full attention to Kainan Wolfe. If that was intentional or not, Seras knew not but it was a good thing to see regardless. "I am pleased to see such."
