The Hidden Bases of the Underground

So with our eventual status moving onwards into The Kathol Outback, I'm going to looking into establishing the history and build of the Underground into our faction.

Over the next few weeks I'll get some submissions up for several things:

• Secret Strongholds of Resistance
• An NPC Ground Unit for mass use
• Several NPC members of the Underground

I will post up invites to any development threads that we need posts in and am also open to ideas for these things, basically what I can see is that The Kathol Outback is an arena that we base our operations in. The Underground is still very much alive, just based within this larger title now.

I'm going for a very Rebel Alliance/Resistance feel with these...

What follows is a brief outline on the Underground's VIPs within the Kathol Outback. These NPCs are what we can fall back on for story purposes. Obviously PCs with ranks held can hold rank over these particular characters.

The Story Thus Far
With the militarisation of the Underground within the Kathol Outback saw several key elements fall into place that caused a need to switch its operations from small individual cells to an active rebellion military.

Measures were put in place at this time to establish a heavier ability to deploy when necessary and as such, with the current commanding elements of the Underground heavily involved in operational missions, a secondary tier of logistical command was initiated to operate the Underground resources from their newly founded planetary holdings.

These Individuals were:

Commander Rae Ozzel represents the Underground Special Forces

Commander Rae Ozzel is a Corellian Female in her late thirties. She has lost everything she ever held dear which led her to be part of the Underground. Bave and charismatic she leads the ground soliders of the Underground with a zeal that is infectious enough to hold the respect of every soldier in the rebellion.

Admiral Alema Doneeta represents the Underground Navy

Alema Doneeta is the mastermind behind the Underground’s flotilla of naval and civilian ships. She adds a level of almost obsessive calculation to the constant logistical challenge that is the Underground’s interstellar forces. Her strategic genius has already come into play with the amassing of the now dubbed Rebel 1st Fleet, a collection of military ships from various sources around the galaxy all tapped into the complex and well hidden Underground Network.

Commander Ora Stazi represents the Underground Network

Ora Stazi, an aged Duros who has taken on the mantle of co-ordinator for the remnants of the Underground’s independent agents. He understood that with the militarisation of the Underground the existing elements of undercover and infiltration agents had to be managed in some way other than the free-fall approach of earlier engagements. He is now head of the Underground Network, which is arguably the largest free agent co-ordination system in the galaxy.

I think that's downright excellent. I always asked if other people wanted to play general/admiral-level officers, and nobody ever did. NPCs are a solid way forward. Nice work. I'll be sure to reference these guys IC as Jorus' peers.

Need to make us feel like Star Wars, not enough alien going around.
Going to work on a generic foot soldier template as well. Emphasis that we really don't have a lot of them but they all fight for what is right.

I'd prefer to leave Kira's NPCs as NPCs, so anyone can use them in RP. If we need a background general officer with a PC account, that's what the Beyyr account is for.
