The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Mandalore.
The Birthplace of the Modern Day Merc. and home of the (in)famous Mandalorians. They've conquered it all and lost it all more times than can be remembered. Nowadays they've reached a balance with the rest of the galaxy, peace finally washing over at least most of the empire. But, that wasn't why Kyber was here today.
. . .
Kyber was visiting the old capital of Sundari, his first stop on a long quest to explore as much of the famous places of the galaxy as he could. Excitement, Adventure, Danger, maybe even treasure. All of that and more could await him in any of the places he'd visit throughout his journey, and his first stop couldn't be better. This place had the potential to have the whole package. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, however, Kyber was still in Hyperspace on his way to the planet in a Templar-Class Light Freighter- courtesy of the Techno Union. Even though it didn't mean much to him, attaining rank did have a few perks.

They were getting close to the planet now, probably only about ten to fifteen minutes out, so Kyber decided to get on the comms and alert his singular passenger. "We're only a few minutes out, get ready for departure." After the quick update Kyber flipped the PA system off once again and get himself ready. He stood up from the cockpit and made his way over to the small storage area on the bridge of the ship, preparing his gear he took off his casual clothes right there on the bridge and began putting on his various pieces of light armor: flightsuit, kneepads, pauldrons, warden cloak, and finally his helmet. Once that task was complete he decided to make his way over to the crew cabin that his guest was staying in to see if she was ready...

It was never a common occurance for Token, to get out in the field and do hands on work, really, ever, but lately? She had been being kept awake about a world that she wasn’t so sure existed, and maybe her own mental projection and organization of the universe was collapsing. There was no way she was in a bar on Tash-Taral in the middle of some desert cave.

But there was every way that she was in a bar in some desert cave on Tash-Taral.

Regardless if that did or didn’t happen, the blonde had a few things she needed to find. And with people from the Union making some exploration trips? She was all for it. One less worry for her ship, getting behind enemy lines, or around friendly lines, she wasn’t sure. The blonde wasn’t really here to harm anyone, but she still did carry her sonic blaster and lightsaber, with her songsteel armor under her black hooded cloak.

Ok, so sometimes the witchy girl actually looked witchy. When the voice came over the intercom, she nodded and went back to getting ready. Her armor was on, now her hair was tied back, she just needed to get her weapons together and she’d be fine.

She’d be ready for the time they entered real space.

(Sorry about the late post, Corey. Hopefully we can get things back on track. woo.)

Kyber had knocked on her cabin just as they entered realspace. At the opening of the door he gave he took a step inside and examined his crewmate and fellow explorer. After giving her the once over, he parted with a brief nod before turning on heel and heading back to the bridge. He motioned for her to follow him as he did so, not so much as sparing a single word throughout the process- Kyber didn't like to speak unless it was necessary of him. If possible he might be able to get through this whole venture without speaking a word - and no matter how unlikely that may be, he still let loose a small smirk under his helmet at the idea.

Upon reaching the bridge he sat down in the pilot's seat, readying for the descent. He flipped a few switches on the console and tapped in some rough coordinates for their landing zone into the navigation. They'd be landing in Sundari, planning to have some explorational fun once they left the spaceport. After all the navigational mumbo-jumbo was all set up and activated, Kyber leaned back in the chair and kicked his feet up, awaiting their landing in the city filled with so much rich mandalorian history.

There were a few things that made Token different than her cousins. One, she absolutely loved being planet side, and two, she could do more with the Force. The blonde was an adventurer lately. She was finally claiming that which she was. The girl had always been between worlds, looking for answers, but that was her answer. Finding where she stacked up in the galaxy, and changing how she looked at things. She was in her armor, reaching for her cousin’s slugthrower and sliding it into the holster on her hips. That, mixed with her lightsaber were all she needed. She nodded in the mirror at Kyber and double checked that she had everything she needed.

Making her way through the ship, our limber blonde arrived at the bridge. “So, do we have permissions to land?” She said, sliding herself into the empty co-pilot’s seat and looking at the planet ahead of them. She was always excited to go somewhere new, the curse of being her, she supposed.
