The Holocron Hunts: Kol's Final Teachings

Alexandra Feanor

Nar Shadaa, Red Sector

Alexandra grinned as blood dripped from her mouth, causing her to reach up and wipe it clean, the bruise and cut lip clear as day now. And soon enough another strike catching the side of her head as she was sent to the ground and forced to cough, making her laugh a bit.

Alexandra was in her place, a fighting ring and with a fire burning in her eyes she looked up and shot from where she knelt on the ground, colliding with the man's gut and putting all of her power into the strike as she pushed him down to the ground. Her hand winding back, poor form for the fight but it gave a good show and thats what people wanted in a fight like this.

And like that the fist came down, striking the man in the temple, leaving her other hand to similarly head back and come down. She beat on the man for a few more strikes, his hands and arms blocking direct impact but that was not the end for either as he bucked his body up and sent her forward, his hands grabbing her shoulders and flipping her over him and onto her back now.

The hard landing caused her head to smack off the ground and her breath to leave her, seeing stars and her mind in a state of shock for a few seconds.

Why was the Jedi Grandmaster fighting in a ring like this, not using the force in the least and putting on a show for people?

Because it was fun. There was also the fact a information broker needed a bit more money than she had so she was using the chance to make an extra credit or two, but the honest reason was she enjoyed the fighting.

It was something she blamed on genetics, her father's ring fighting days having bled into her own life and she couldn't get enough of it. That was why the Grandmaster of the Republic, fighting under the name of the Scarlet Grandmaster, pulled herself off the ground and smiled wider with blood filling her mouth. The metallic taste familiar and causing her heart to pick up speed, adrenaline rushing through her as she slowly stood back up.

Her eyes turned to a drink on a table near the ring, reaching out with the force to grab it from the table and taking a long drink before laughing a bit more and sending it back before raising her hands.

It was then that the man attacked again, and she moved to the side, spinning and delivering a kick to the back of his head. The man dropped like a rock, out cold and leaving her standing there as the patrons cheered and bets were tallied up. And all Alexandra did was raise her hand to the crowd, enjoying the moment.

OceanMan

Hello. My name is Connor. I was sent by Cyberlife.
Nar Shadaa, Corellian Sector, Meltdown Café

Kaoli was sitting at a table in a corner of the Meltdown Café swirling a drink. There was a half empty bottle of liquor on the table. Why was he here you might ask? Kaoli lived in an apartment complex on Nar Shadaa. Lately, he was having nightmares of fighting in the Rebellion and of being killed. You heard that right. Kaoli Torrens, an Eldorai-Human assassin, was actually a Jedi Knight called Juno Kryze who died months before the Rebel Alliance destroyed the first Death Star. A lot has happened when he was away, and Kaoli still wasn't used to the massive change and his new life style, nor was he used to his new body despite having it for 26 years. Anyway, he was there and he was indulging in an alchoholic drink to drown out the nightmares of the past.

Currently, he wore the suit he had back when he was a Mandalorian, although the paint job was changed from orange to white. Kaoli, or Juno was rather surprised to find that it had survived the test of time and it was still relatively intact. All he had to do was upgrade the armor so it's up to the current standards. He carried a pair of classic WESTAR-35 blaster pistols and a mono molecular katana from his days as an assassin for the Eldorai government. He never revealed his true identity when he lived on Kaeshana, not even to his sister.

He yawned slightly. It was late, yet he decided to finish the drink. On the other side of the cantina, a fight broke out between a couple of heavily armed bounty hunters. The argument was over a spilled drink and it soon led to fist fights, then the two were bodily thrown out by the bouncer. Juno had a grin on his face. He leaned over the table, grabbed the bottle that was in the middle and poured another glass. His helmet, which had a white paint job, also had the Nite Owl symbol and it was sitting on the table with the bottle. He drained the glass and poured another one. It's gonna be a long night.

@Kaoli Torrens

Alexandra had continued her fun for some time but after a while the time had come for her to shift her focus towards getting information that she so required. It was some cafe and Alexandra had no idea why it had been chosen at first but as she was pulled to a private room in the back she had come to realize her contact was the owner of this place. She knew that was questionable and the saber she had hidden was still in her sleeve, the only weapon not taken from her.

Her eyes drifted and looked at [member="Kaoli Torrens "]as she passed the woman, curious as to the woman's appearance but continuing on rather than stopping to address the interesting woman. Something about her was weird enough that Alexandra couldn't quite put her finger on at the moment. That was fine though, as Alexandra knew what she had to do and that was get the information she had been promised. A quick trade.

Or so she had thought as she was led to the room in the back and there was nothing there. She stared around for a few seconds, her mind running through the possibilities until she heard the sound of blasters readying. She had knew this was the kind of thing that might happen and her eyes slid to the side, looking over her shoulder.

Two shots rang out, the sound echoing from the closed room and drawing pause from a few in the cafe.
