Strengths:
- Keeper of the Dread Seeds: Bestia was considered in her time to be one of the most strongest Sith Lord's living. She was ranked among the Dread Master's as the most powerful, and this reflected within her position of the group itself. She reigned supreme over the Dread Seeds, the devices that allowed the Master's to sow fear, destruction, and corruption among those worlds on which they were planted. Her Holocron is a reflection of this status, and within it is stored the boundless knowledge of not just herself, but the secrets of the Dread Masters. Within the Holocron one finds Bestia's teachings on the Sith Sorcery, Alchemy, the conquest of minds, and the reign of Fear that the Dread Masters brought to so many worlds.
- Breakable: Though arguably a bit more hardy than most trinkets, the Holocron of Dread Master Bestia is hardly indestructible. In the end the device is constructed of simple metal, glass, and crystal. One could very easily take a sledgehammer to the thing and completely ruin it within a few good whacks.
Description:
Once, thousands of years ago when the Resurgent Empire reigned the Six Dread Masters stood among the most feared of the Empire's Sith.
They were, for all intense and purposes mad beyond all grasps of reality. The power they held was said to be enough to wipe out entire fleets, the fear they could unleash could cleanse entire worlds. Even among those loyal to the Empire the Dread Masters were nothing but walking Horrors, creatures that had grown beyond the idea of life, beyond the idea of hope or thought. They were symbols of pure terror. Powerful enough that only the Emperor itself could keep them in check.
Among these six, the most powerful was Bestia.
Though all of the Dread Masters were equally skilled and knowledgeable within the force, it was Bestia that had the edge in raw strength. She alone stood tall among the Dread Masters, powerful enough to sunder entire armies, but skilled enough to break them to her will instead. She along with the others fled the Empire's service after the supposed death of their Emperor on Ziost. The Dread Master created their own Empire, one ruled by fear and only their wills.
It was during this time that Bestia crafted her holocron.
Within this holocron she placed all of her secrets, all of her knowledge.
When the Dread Masters were eventually brought to heel, The Holocron was lost within the broken sands Oricon. Either forgotten, or thrown away, the Holocron survived for thousands of years upon the broken world. Buried beneath ruins and broken crags of the Dread Masters fortress. It was here that it was found millenia later by a Sith cult. Though they did not understand the power within, they knew what they had found was sacred.
The Cult quickly removed The Holocron, taking it back to their world and positioning it as an object of worship.
Over the eons they maintained the Holocrons secrecy, worshiping it, taking it in their care, and ensuring it's survival. Eventually a small sect of Purebloods from the world of Athiss caught wind of this cult, hearing of it's horde of knowledge. A band of Massassi was dispatched, sent to slaughter the cult in the night. It was here that the Holocron was was first retrieved, ending in the hands of a Pureblood woman named Siedra. She was the first to open the holocron, and having been found worthy by the gatekeeper was granted knowledge that had been thought lost for centuries.
Siedra used her new found power to elevate her position upon Athiss, break the servants of her rivals, and quickly seize as much power as possible.
Unfortunately for her, Vrak Nashar and [member="Neesa"] found the Holocron within it's storage vault. Stealing it away for themselves after a brief fight. The Holocron of Bestia now sits within their hands, waiting to unleash it's secrets once more.
