Intent:
- While the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame has been around the site in some variation since December 2015, after all those months (and due to little to no activity), I've felt that the Order would be of better service to the site and myself by being submitted as an NPC faction. As someone had mentioned, they felt that what I really wanted to see done with the Order, and what I really wanted to do with the Order was just tell their story. This is correct, and that's what I've wanted to see done with the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame since its initial concept back in 2015. Thus by moving it from a PC Faction to an NPC Organization, I feel that it would better serve in producing stories and threads in this manner than in its current stagnated state.

Description:
A militaristic monastic order dedicated to bringing order and stability to the galaxy. The Holy Order of the Righteous Flame views themselves as being the guardians of the galaxy who must rise to defend those who can not defend themselves. While they seek to bring to heel Force Users, make no mistake; they are an army unto themselves, well equipped and trained.
Established as a means to defend the denizens of the Galaxy from Force Users, they call the planet Feenix their home, having established their own Temple upon the world. The Order is one in which those who join are sworn to dedicate themselves to ensuring that Order is returned to the Galaxy.
Advancement is thus defined by merit, and the order itself is run as a meritocracy; as it matters not whom one was before they joined the Order or who their family is. All Brothers and Sisters of the Order are treated the same; thus the order looks down upon ideals such as Humanocentrism or any ideals that would exclude any individual due to species, orientation or creed. The Order is thus meant to stand as a beacon of light and hope for those in a galaxy overrun by Force Users and inept Politicians.
Originally founded as a new Templar Order, the Order has risen from those before them, still holding the belief that all Force Users are dangerous and have posed such to the Galaxy at large. As such, they do not permit Force Users within their ranks. They now stand with a new belief, the belief that the galaxy must be cleansed with a Righteous Flame.

Membership:
- Unlike other organizations, there is no real Joining Ritual for the Holy Order. If an individual is of age (as they will never accept any individual under the age of 16), they are welcomed into the Order and begin training as a Knight-Errant. There are minor ceremonies, the most well known being the 'Proving Honor' which is much like a Jedi Padawan's own Trials of Knighthood.
Dogma/Doctrines:
It is well documented that the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame is a Non-Force User organization that has recently shifted from their previous views. While they are tolerant of Lightsiders (though still weary); they remain staunchly Anti-Sith / Anti-Dark Sider.
Religious belief is centered around a core grouping of beings seen as the "Righteous Divinity" or The Iustus. It was this group of Deities that created the galaxy, the stars, the worlds and everything in existence. The Iustus were the keepers of the Force, using it to create life and seed it across the universe. The "Evil Divinity" or the Malum, are the polar opposite. This tribunal of deities stole the Force from the Iustus, corrupting it and those few practitioners of the Force into the first Dark Siders. The Order believes that those that utilize the Dark Side of the Force (such as the Sith and Dark siders in general) must be removed from the galaxy so that the Iustus can return and heal the damage done.

The Holy Order of the Righteous Flame has its roots in various mercenary organizations that operated during the most recent times of turmoil. One of the lesser known, who would go on to discover and rescue a young girl; the sole survivor of a family massacre, would form the original foundations of what would become the Order. The leader, an elderly man, took in the girl and shortly after the entirety of the Mercenary Force had adopted her.
Their contracts and duties took them across the galaxy and brought them into conflict with Force Users on multiple fronts. This was the beginning of the establishment of the belief that all Force Users pose a danger to the Galaxy. In time this force would grow by absorbing other mercenary factions, usually those that had been broken or were no longer hired by previous employers.
These small groups formed together into what was christened as The Templar Order. While this order shared a name with one that had been standing previously, they still sought out the doctrine that there was no chaos, only order. Believing themselves to be the ones to bring about Order, they set out to accomplish such a task. Also integrating the remnants of the Knights of Kal'Shebbol, along with their practice of training in the art of Teras Kasi; they also adopted other practices, creeds and tenants from the former Knights.
With the events of the Omega War sending a ripple across the Galaxy, the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame has reorganized itself and heeds the call anew that rings out across the galaxy.
As their ties with Alderaan become stronger, the Holy Order has taken a new stance. Remaining faithful to their belief that Force Users are a danger, they have become more tolerable of those that seek to use the Force to serve the denizens of the galaxy and not their own interest. While Lightsiders are still looked upon with some suspicion, they are still more widely accepted by the Order than those of the Sith and Darksiders.
