The Home
Name: The Home

Development Thread: Link!
Classification: Skyhook
Location: It will be located 10km (kilometers, approximately 10,000m) up from Darth Vectivus's mansion, on the asteroid known as the Home, found in the MZX32905 system.
Affiliation: Order of the Sith Lords
Description: Initially, Ayra planned for her facility to be constructed over Darth Vectivus's mansion, but thought otherwise by the time Ultimatum delivered his droid work force. It was why she had ordered Permacrete from Emeritus, but pulled out of construction on the asteroid itself, deciding that a Skyhook was more suitable for her needs. The Home was found in the MZX32905 system, connected to the asteroid known as the Home. The nearest worlds to it were either Bimmiel or Lorrd.
Dwarfed by the Skyhooks seen at Coruscant, the Home Skyhook was miniature in scale and size, with the shaft connecting the research part of the facility leading down to the asteroid surface only big enough for up to a group of twenty. Skyhooks, commonly used for the transportation and deportation of resources, vehicles or large groups of people at a time, were required to be gigantic in scale, making the Home Skyhook rare for it's size.
Ayra planned for the Skyhook to be small in comparison to it's Coruscant cousins due to the clandestine nature of her work. She only required the facility to house herself and her Sith Apprentice, with the nature of their work meant to be a secret only the two of them would know. Instead of a Space Station or ground facility, which would require her to house a hangar bay for transports, Ayra only wanted a space dock connecting the Skyhook to space, with the shaft leading down to the surface.
This was because, in the event of the Home's discovery, she and her apprentice could quickly board and escape on board a docked ship, which was significantly a quicker and easier process than a transport docked within a hangar bay. The ship used to come and go between the MZX32905 system and the rest of the Galaxy would be the Initium, Ayra's personal modified Star Courier. Thus the docking port for the Skyhook was designed only for ships such as the Initium or those of the same classification, for boarding the facility.
The entrance was 10 kilometers up from the surface, where the only docking port was found. It contained several Core I computers and Lenoi I datapads; a hub, which connected the computers together to show data and information on a larger viewing screen; and a computer core, which controlled the power, life support, light, communication, jamming equipment and Portable Dampening Field, all of which was installed during the construction process.
Directly opposite the docking port, with the computers, viewing screen and computer core in between, was the entrance to the repulsorlift, which led down the shaft that connected the hub in space to the surface. Blast doors covered the entrance to the lift, which were capable of sealing from the vacuum of space, in the event of a breach. Another set of blast doors covered the exit to the Home surface, which exposed the shaft to the vacuum of space. It was the common practice and procedure to close the top blast doors before heading down to the surface; and closing the exit doors before returning up top. The shaft required pressurizing and depressurizing before or after exposure to space. In the event that neither was done, an explosion would occur, causing catastrophic damage to the facility.
The entrance/hub was constructed out of Durasteel for it's hull, with Transparisteel covering areas, allowing the inhabitant to see out into space. The supporting beams for the hull, which kept the hub together, was made out of a mixture of Duranium and Adamithium. Duranium was the commonly used metal for support, but extra strength was added with the addition of Adamithium, to cope with the stress made by the shaft connecting the hub to the asteroid below.
The shaft itself was also made out of Durasteel, supported by more Duranium and Adamithium. The blast doors placed in front of the entrance and exit to the shaft were made entirely out of Durasteel. It was the shaft that posed the real danger to the facility, as the constant turn and movement of the Home caused stress on it. The shaft was also a possible target in the event of an attack. Like all Skyhooks, if the shaft went, the hub would collapse to the bottom, destroying it. Gravity wells were installed in the shaft, to allow the repulsor lift to move up and down.
No weapon emplacements were installed on the Home, with Ayra's budget constricted. There were none placed within the facility either, although the Sith Lord and her Sith Apprentice were prone to carrying their lightsabers whilst on board. The hub's hull, supports and panels were susceptible to being damaged or destroyed by a lightsaber, blaster or explosive device, although they would find it difficult to damage the Adamithium made supports due to it's energy resistance. Breaches were a significant breach if either were damaged or destroyed, as they were for all structures in space.
The main defenses for the Home came in the form of three things: the dark side of the Force, used by Darth Ayra and her Sith Apprentice; the Portable Dampening Field installed in the computer core; and the surrounding asteroids in the MZX32905 system. In particular, it was the PDF that was the greatest asset, as the dampening field prevented the the Home from being scanned. Although the dampening field only encompassed the hub/entrance to the facility, power could be shut off in the shaft, preventing energy output from being detected. Larger vessels would find it difficult to navigate the asteroid field surrounding the Home, but starfighters/transports would be more than capable. Keeping the facility a secret was the main defense, and with the use of the dark side, this was possible, depending if either Ayra or her apprentice were on board at the time.
The Home was also a possible destination for Darth Ayra to hideout, considering that only she, her Sith Apprentice and Ultimatum were aware of it's existence at the time of construction; and the face that the MZX32905 system was not system known for people to travel too.
History: During her research for Banites & Corporations, which she planned to leave behind to her Sith Apprentice and the Sith Lords that would follow them in the Rule of Two, Darth Ayra discovered the Home, an asteroid filled with rich with minerals located in deep caverns. The asteroid was imbued in dark side Force energy, which Ayra wanted to research and experiment on in her pursuit of the Azari Theory.
After the sale of a Acavus-class bulk cruiser to [member="Ultimatum"], Ayra used it as a way to pave the way for connections between herself and Legacy of Organics Manufacturer (LOOM) via her alias, Alicia Drey. Happy with his purchase, Ultimatum allowed for the two to meet via holo conference to discuss a project. Before discussions could begin, she had Ultimatum sign a non-disclosure agreement, so that he would be legally bind into not revealing the whereabouts of existence of the Home to others.
With the non-disclosure agreement signed, Alicia explained that she wanted a facility constructed in the MZX32905 system, so that she could research a source of energy she discovered there. In return for LOOM providing their droid work force from Mustafar for the construction, Alicia agreed for Chandrila DataTech to upgrade the LOOM shipyards over the lava world.
The agreement was reached when both signed a contract, where 200,000 cr was paid, alongside the agreement to upgrade the LOOM shipyards, in return for LOOM providing the droid work force Ayra required for the construction project. The non-disclosure agreement covered the contract, effectively making it confidential information, forcing Ultimatum to keep what he knew and the existence of the contract unknown.
Technicians from DataTech were pulled from Chandrila to begin working on the project, whilst the droid force from LOOM was en route. Using her status as co-owner of Emeritus Industries, Ayra had Adamithium, Durasteel, Transparisteel, Duranium and Permacrete transported to the MZX32905 system, to be used for construction. Payment was made off the books, only indicating that Emeritus had received an undisclosed credit payment, without noting the resources- which would have normally been used for ship construction- pulled out for the Home project.
Intent: To research and experiment the dark side Force energy imbued in the Home; somewhere to hide; tier advancement for Chandrila DataTech
