The Horizon Foundation is a non-profit company that specializes in disaster relief and charity works. Created with the sole intent of finding additional ways for the Praxeum to increase their ability to help those in war torn or disaster stricken areas, all profits from sales of their products is funneled back in to the primary operations. This allows increased capacity to continue these works, without relying on outside resources or taxes as larger Jedi enclaves might need to.
Eira Pechal: The world the Jedi Praxeum has chosen as their base of operations as they attempt to offer aid and assistance across the galaxy. It is a frontier world through and through, located in the Unknown Regions and some distance away from any major governments. Frosty, arid and cold, the denizens of the world are descendants of ancient Jedi explorers, who crash landed here years prior to the Gulag Plague.
Company headquarters is located on Eira Pechal, at the Jedi Praxeum settlement. Built with the same local, sustainable materials, it looks little different from the rest of the Praxeum and is as easily accessible as the rest to members and visitors.
It is from the settlement that the Horizon Foundation coordinates its relief efforts throughout the Galaxy or so is the plan anyway. For now the Foundation only has a small footprint in an increasingly strife-ridden galaxy.
RATIONALE
The Horizon Foundation was founded by [member="Harper Kade"], [member="Alden Belmont"], [member="Anais Auraeli"] and [member="Ember Farseer"]. Not long after the relief mission to Nibelungen the four Jedi realized that if they really wanted to make a difference they needed larger, more expansive and elaborate resources. Utilizing donations and their own know-how they created the Foundation.
A strictly non-profit organization shaped to help people as best as it can. As more individuals joined the Praxeum more voices were added to the mix. But the Board of Directors remains the same.
The end calls are made by the four aforementioned names to ensure the organization never strays from its main mission.
