Private The Hunt for An Azant

Location: Agamar

TAG: Valery Noble Valery Noble

The Planet Agamar was a frigid wasteland that brave farmers had tilled and somehow been able to make crops with heating technologies. For a long time it had been a frozen frontier world, that was until some wealthy land barons came in and began to build cities. Most of them far from the farming villages, their great triumph was the Ice Palace:

Nd1tT5PEb4lO9WuL57HQ--1--lwyzg_4x.jpg

A great towering castle made solely of the ice from the planet. This exotic place became a major attraction for all sorts of people from across the galaxy looking for a chilly, yet good time. The frozen palace became a place for great soirees, where all manner of guests came, flocking from all corners of the galaxy. It was here in this atmosphere of decadence and revelery that a serpent had found its way in. A Sith who was not bent on conquest, at least not in the sense of the word that meant capturing planets, no this one captured hearts, and then their brains... the mystery of how guests had begun to disappear and their families inquires began to make the place suspect, and so Baron Harkenan had sent a message of distress to the Jedi, asking for some discreet Masters to find the culprit, and bring them to justice. He was offering the Order money, and even land to develop an enclave if they so wished, whatever it took to make this stain on his good name and his parties to end.

Sen had received a communication from the Temple on Coruscant. He had been training in the Temple of Shadow, and now his services were needed in a capture or kill operation. The target was a Sith that was causing distress on a world that he was not familiar with. Apparently this was to be an op where he did not go in Jedi mantels and let himself be known, which honestly was what a Shadow did, blend in. There was more details that another Jedi would be accompanying him, one who was a Master of Shadowcraft, when he read the name he recognized it from the enclave, "Valery Noble." The Nobles were well known in the galaxy, especially Val who this Shadow Aspirant had never had the honor of meeting.

The Rendezvous point was to be in the Farmlands, away from the Main City and Ice Palace, so that they could speak freely away from prying ears and get their equipment together. The Jedi Starfighter came out of hyperspace, and began to descend towards the Frozen Tundra world, the arrow head shape vessel piercing though some thick snowfall as it came one of the Farms, one of them had purple smoke rising from a chimney, that was the sign, he set it down near a barn that was oval and made of chrome steel. Coming out with a heat lamp, a Farmer approaching the craft waved his hands as the door opened and the Jedi Sentinel was able to park it inside the barn. Stepping out of the cock pit, Sen in his Tuskan Sacred Robes and mask was met by the Farmer who had the gate sealed and said,
"Welcome to Agamar! I am glad you saw the smoke."
The Shadow Aspirant resplied,
"Has the other Jedi arrived?"
The Farmer shook his head,
"Not yet.. please come inside and get warm."

The Tuskan-Mando stepping out in the cold was for a moment in shock, he had spent much of his life on an arid and warm planet, so he had not acclimated to such cold. Though he showed no sign of the bite, no shaking, he controlled his body as they made for the Farm House where a Lady with long black hair and wrinkles on her brow poured some tea. Sitting down Sen took a steaming cup and said,
"Thank you."
He then removed his helm, for this mission would require he not wear it. His long curly black hair falling on his cheeks, his glowing blue eyes looking at this humble family that tilled a world that he thought was beyond harvesting. Sen felt the warmth of the steam rise and make his nose red, it felt good.
"May I store my Sacred belongings in your home? They are of great value to me.."

The Farmer nodded,
"Of course, anything to help the Jedi."
The Tuskan-Mando drank some of the warm liquid and felt it warm his throat, and then spread down his body.
"I must confess I marvel at your ability to farm anything in this frosted world."
The Farmer smiled and nodded as he sat down, his Wife bringing some warm biscuits from the oven.
"We rely on warming evaporators, like an opposite to the moisture ones used on other worlds."
Sen nodded,
"I am familiar with moisture evaporators, maybe if time permits you could show me. I am really intrigued by how technologies make what is seemingly an impossible place to live, possible."
The Farmer smiled,
"Absolutely! I must say most Jedi I have met are not interested in such things."
Sen nodded,
"I am a different kind of Jedi. We delight in more than floating rocks, endless meditation, and swinging our sabers."
The Farmer laughed,
"That is good! I have always thought the Jedi could benefit from some hard work on a farm. If you stay long enough, I will put you to work! Haha!"
The Jedi Sentinel chuckled, he enjoyed this aspect of his Calling, getting to know people in an intimate settings like this, probably because that was how he had lived among the Tuskans for many years. That was what made the Sentinel Path the one for him, to be in the thick of other civilizations and their people, and doing good where he could. Meeting this family of farmers convinced him that this mission to stop a Sith that was causing problems was paramount. So far the intel he had was that most of incidents happened in the city, and at the Ice Palace, though a few farmers had been picked off too, so the span of the circle of victims went out from the Ice Palace...

The Frosted Palace was a good place to keep brains on ice.. all manner of people in their formal dress for the approaching holiday were walking about. Esme began to look for a potential Soup, her exotic white eyes with the black dots for pupils scanning the halls for those that might be a good entree. There was one young lady, who seemed to be alone. That was always the best, for loneliness made her charms enhance. So the Azant came to her and said,
"Hello.. are you attending the festival?"
The Young Woman turning said,
"Yes.. though.. I have no one to go with."
Taking her pale finger she rose it to her chin,
"I will go with you, girl's night out!"
The Young Lady smiled,
"Oh would you?!"
The Pale Lady gave a smile,
"Absolutely! Take my arm and we shall make all the gents jealous!"

The Young Woman took her arm, unaware that she was linking herself to her doom, that soon she would become Soup, and no longer breath a next breath. This was the work of the Azant, who's hunger drove her to prey upon souls such as thus. She used her powers of persuasion in the Force, and her charms of the body to make many become ensnared to her devices. There was no mistake, and so far the authorities had not been able to ascertain that she was the one drinking the heads of guests. Part of why was that she hid well her proboscises tentacles that came from her neck to enter the nostrils or ears. Though thus far the fair was not great, none of them was strong which made the Soup watered down and lose its potency, what she really needed was a Force User, someone strong in the powers she possessed to seduce and feed upon.

Valery's starfighter slipped through the heavy snowfall blanketing Agamar, its hull shimmering faintly against the dim light of the planet's frigid sky. She'd been briefed on the mission — a Sith lurking in the shadows of the Ice Palace, preying on the vulnerable. It was the kind of insidious evil that needed swift and decisive intervention, but discretion was just as critical.

As the purple smoke of the rendezvous point came into view, Valery guided the ship to a smooth landing near the barn where she could sense a familiar presence. Shutting down the engines, she took a moment to adjust her cloak, drawing it tightly around her to ward off the biting cold. Even through her layers, the chill hit her like a wall as she stepped out, her boots crunching against the frost-covered ground.

She had never liked the cold.

Her fiery amber eyes quickly scanned the area, catching sight of the barn and farmhouse nestled amidst the snow. She smiled faintly, sensing warmth and life within. With confident strides, she approached, her gloved hand raising to knock lightly on the farmhouse door before stepping inside.

The warmth of the interior was an instant relief, and her gaze fell upon Sen Kai, seated with the farmer and his wife. The scene was one of camaraderie, a brief moment of peace before the storm they were about to face. "Sen Kai," Valery greeted, pulling back her hood to reveal her auburn hair. Her voice was warm, but her presence carried the unmistakable weight of purpose. "It's good to finally meet you."

Turning briefly to the farmer and his wife, she offered a gracious nod. "Thank you for welcoming us into your home. It's a kindness that doesn't go unnoticed."

As she moved further into the room, Valery settled into a chair opposite Sen, her cloak still draped around her. "I see you've already made yourself comfortable," she teased lightly, her lips curving into a faint smile. "What have you learned so far about the Sith's activities? Anything stand out?"

Her gaze flicked toward the window, where the falling snow obscured the horizon. There was a calmness about her, but it was underpinned by a readiness to act. Whatever lay ahead, Valery was prepared to face it — and she was curious to see how this Jedi Sentinel, with his unique blend of experience and philosophy, would handle the challenge alongside her.

There was a sound out in the snow capped acres, an approaching vessel that Sen could feel and sense, aboard was one strong in the Force. At last she had come. He heard it land near the barn, and then in no time at all the door was opened, and standing there was a Woman most beautiful, and making gestures and movement with purpose. Everything about her was grand, including her title. The fact she had signed up for this assignment with him, a relative unknown in the Order who was only recently trained from Kashyyyk's Shadow Temple, was a marvel in of itself. It was major honor to have a Noble on this mission, and when she spoke, it had a way of settling everyone, even the Farmer and His Wife.
"It is my great honor to meet you Grand Master Noble."
The Tuskan Mando bowed his head and helm low almost to table, a gesture in his cultures of respect.
He then rising back up gave answer to her,
"This couple has been most kind, they offer shelter, supply, and aid."
The Man smiled,
"Welcome Master Jedi! It truly is a relief to have someone of your caliber here. Most of the farmers live in terror since the Trouble came to the planet."
The Wife made a pot of boiling water, and took some tea leaves and brought them with some cream and sugar to the table, offering to Valery,
"Please warm yourself with our signature crop! It gets so cold."

In middle of these interactions Sen gave some intel to Master Noble,
"The Sith's range of attacks has broadened beyond the Palace.. it seems they are in a.."
He spoke to her mind, not violating like prob, but telepathically,
"a feeding frenzy.. whoever this is is partaking of more and more morsels.. to the point that what is in the city limits does not satisfy."
He spoke to her thus because he did not want to alarm this charming couple, who he felt was in danger. So far a description of the Sith had not been forthcoming, and so he related in thought to the Grand Master,
"Intel on what they look like is scarce, all I have been able to glean is that some witnesses say the shadow was feminine in shape."

Sen hoped that his attempt to communicate in this fashion had been successful, he had not fully honed his telekinetic skills. Her being a Grand Master, he hoped that she would decipher his meaning. In truth Sen was glad that his first encounter with a Sith would come with the legendary Master Noble at his side. He had felt his training had accelerated since Kashyyyk, and now he was to help bring in or bring down the chief enemy of the Jedi.

Valery inclined her head slightly in response to Sen's deep bow, her fiery amber eyes studying him with calm intensity. His formality and the respect woven into his words were noted, but she kept her expression warm and approachable. "The honor is mine," she replied, her voice steady and kind. "And thank you both," she added, addressing the farmer and his wife with a gracious nod as she accepted the tea. "Your generosity means a great deal, especially in such difficult times."

She sipped the tea, its warmth spreading through her and chasing away the lingering chill from outside. As Sen began to speak, his words filled the room before a sudden, subtle shift in her perception revealed the telepathic connection he extended to her. The steady weight of his thoughts carried a level of skill that Valery respected, and she inclined her head slightly to show she had received his message.

a feeding frenzy... The phrase hung in her mind, its implication unsettling but not unfamiliar when it came to Sith who indulged their hunger for power, fear, or destruction. The detail about the shadow being feminine in shape added another layer of intrigue, but it left many questions unanswered.

Maintaining a calm outward demeanor for the sake of their hosts, Valery met Sen's gaze briefly, then spoke aloud to continue the flow of conversation naturally. "Expanding beyond the city limits is a bold move. It means this Sith either feels confident in their strength or has grown desperate enough to overreach."

Her voice remained steady, though her mind churned through the possibilities. After a moment, she turned her attention back to Sen. "Have you come across anything else that might offer clues to how this Sith behaves or operates? Patterns in the attacks, methods they use to draw victims, anything like that?"

Her tone carried a note of urgency but was tempered by her usual calm. She glanced toward the window, where snow continued to fall heavily outside, and then back to Sen, her fiery gaze sharp with resolve. "If they're growing more aggressive, we need to anticipate their next move before they gain more ground."

At the Palace, Esme had the sweet gal under her spell, and as they danced, she touched her lips to the young girl and then it happened, the Lady's eyes became white like hers and she leaning into the Azant said,
"Do not part from me.. please.. let me be with you always."
The Red Head Sith gave a smirk as she replied holding her head against the slave that would become Soup,
"Fret not sweetie.. I shall always be with you and you in me.."

As they danced, something happened, her body contorted suddenly and she turned her two tentacles coming out of their holes and rising as serpents to warmth.
"I feel it.. The Vita.. Life.. they have come!"
The Girl buried her head in her bosom of Echani chrome.
"Do not leave me!"
The Azant looking at her said,
"Be at peace.. lovely, I will come back for you.. go to my bedchamber and await.."
The Young Gal did as she bid and began to walk as one hovering over the floor away. The Azant then stirring made its way. Outside the snow fell heavily, anyone who did not have a keen sense would be lost and in morning be found frozen. Near the Farm and Barn, some cattle therein began to stir, outside, one of the lanterns swayed and not by any wind.

The Farmer who was with Grandmaster Jedi and the Mandalorian heard the stirring of his flock inside the barn and opening the door looked out with his lantern, he then began to walk out in the blizzard, his foot prints becoming lost as fresh powder obscured them instantaneously. When he saw something dart across the front of a fence, him taking the lantern and saying,
"Hello? Is someone there?"

Inside the Barn, the Figure stirring in the shadows, the sheep all baaing, and moving away from the dark, when the Farmer opened the door to look and saw them, their eyes starring at him in terror, when a voice suddenly howled like the wind,
"Lay your head to sleep, you weary sheep, mine to keep!"
Suddenly he fell and the lantern crashed outside and was covered in snow as flames lapped and he was pulled in and the door was suddenly shut behind and the cries of sheep began to echo and sounds of hooves beating the wood of the walls in such a calmor...

The unsettling sounds from outside pierced the quiet warmth of the farmhouse, drawing Valery's attention instantly. Her fiery amber eyes flicked to the door, narrowing as the disturbance grew louder and more chaotic. The crash of the lantern and the echoing cries of sheep sent a chill through her, though her calm demeanor betrayed none of it.

Valery rose smoothly from her seat, setting the cup of tea down with deliberate care. Her gaze moved to Sen, sharp and resolute. "Something's wrong," she said, her voice steady but carrying an unmistakable urgency.

She reached for the hilt of her lightsaber, the familiar weight grounding her as she strode toward the door. "Stay here," she instructed the farmer's wife gently, her tone leaving no room for debate. "We'll handle this."

Opening the door, Valery stepped out into the biting cold, her cloak snapping in the wind as the blizzard roared around her. Snow whipped at her face, but her focus was on the barn. The faint glow of flames was visible through the snow, flickering ominously before disappearing beneath fresh powder. The cries of the sheep grew louder, frantic and desperate.

Her hand brushed against the door of the barn, but she paused, turning to Sen with a pointed look. "Be ready for anything," she murmured. "This isn't just an attack — it's a message. They're baiting us."

With a subtle motion of her free hand, Valery reached into the Force, feeling the ebb and flow of its currents around the barn. The dark presence inside was palpable, a twisted mockery of life that pulsed with malice. Whatever was waiting for them, it was no ordinary predator.

Valery exhaled slowly, centering herself, then pushed the door open with a decisive motion. Her lightsaber ignited in a snap-hiss, the violet blade illuminating the chaos within — scattered sheep, their eyes wide with terror, and a shadowed figure standing amidst the carnage.

The calm that had pervaded over this pleasant time passed as a noise disturbed the Farmer. Who taking a lantern said,
"Exuse me, I need to check on the flock."
Within what seemed a matter of moments, there was the moan and cries of sheep and rustling and noise of something crashing outside. Sen rose in his vestments, his lightsaber hilt on his belt shimmering in all its chrome durasteel. When the Grand Master said something was wrong, the Tuskan Mando tilted his head. He could feel a disturbance in the Force, and as they made there way out into the snowfall, the flakes falling in endless white grains, reminding him of the Sand Storms on Tatooine. The Barn was before them and Valery Noble Valery Noble had already discerned something more, that this was no random attack. As they came to great doors, she bid him be ready for anything and he nodded, when in situation such as thus, he often fell silent and acted. That was The Way, to become a living weapon, and weapons did not talk.

As Master Noble pushed opened the door, they found inside felled sheep in a circle, and strung up with rope hanging from rafters was The Farmer. Sen immolated his yellow jasper blade and checked the corners, his visor taking in any possible position from which their foe could assail them, when he heard the groan of the good man. His eyes were white, and as if rolled up into his head. Instinctively, The Jedi Shadow taking his saber cut the rope, the rope smoked as the hot blade cut it and he helped catch the Farmer, who had a pulse. The sheep seemed in a stasis, no blood, nothing.. what was this enemy trying to prove? As he held the man, he turning with his visor saw something back out in the blizzard, a figure with a hoods, eyes flowing bright white. His impulse was to drop the man and make chase, but the storm was strong and it could be a trap to seperate the Two Jedi, they were stronger together, so instead he said,
"I see them.. they are out there.. in the white wind.."

He then turned his visor to Valery, reflecting her face on his mirror helm. She was the senior Jedi on this mission and he would not allow his thirst for justice to lead him into the open to be picked off by whatever this Sith was. The man began to groan someone and he began to mumble something,
"Where is she.. she is.. beautiful.."
They had some confirmation now, it was a she, though why was this Good Pastor enthralled by her? He began to look at his lips, there was some of secretion, and taking his gloved finger he rubbed it off and looking at it said,
"Curious.. it seems he has come in contact with something pharmacological.."
Taking a plastic container from his belt pouch, he rubbed some of it off into the cup and sealed it.

It was then that the man suddenly rolled his eyes forward, still white with black dots for pupils as he suddenly began to claw at Sen who held him, and shouted,
"Where is she?!"
He turning then began to beat at the Jedi Shadow as he said,
"Where did you take her?!"
The Farmer had lost his senses after coming in contact with whatever the substance was and the source of it was this Sith, Sen was sure of it. It was evident that they were dealing with more than a pest, a formidable enemy that was able to drive its victims to madness...

Valery's fiery amber eyes swept over the grim scene, her lightsaber casting flickering shadows against the barn's interior. The sheep hung motionless, and the farmer's limp form strung up amidst the carnage sent a chill through her. The oppressive weight of the dark side was palpable, clinging to every corner of the room.

As Sen cut the farmer down and caught his body, Valery's focus shifted sharply to the man's groaning. She knelt beside them, her lightsaber still humming softly at her side, but her expression was set in firm resolve. The man's twisted state — his eyes rolling back, his voice an erratic mix of desperation and obsession — spoke to something more sinister than physical harm. The Sith's influence was evident, woven deeply into his very being.

At Sen's words, her gaze snapped toward the open barn doors and the blizzard beyond. The faint silhouette of a hooded figure disappeared into the swirling snow, leaving behind only the echo of malevolence. Valery's grip tightened on her lightsaber, the temptation to pursue tempered by her trust in Sen's instincts.

"They're testing us," Valery murmured, her voice low but filled with conviction. "Trying to draw us out into the storm. But we're not going to give them the satisfaction."

Her attention returned to the farmer as he clawed and lashed out at Sen, his words frantic and incoherent. Valery reached out with her free hand, placing it gently on the man's forehead. She closed her eyes, her connection to the Force deepening as she sought to calm the storm within him. Her presence radiated warmth and serenity, countering the darkness that had taken root.

"It's alright," she said softly, her voice soothing but firm. "You're safe now. Focus on my voice." Her connection to the Force pulsed outward, weaving through the layers of madness clouding the farmer's mind.

As his movements stilled slightly, Valery opened her eyes and looked up at Sen. "That substance..." she said, her tone sharpening with purpose. "It's not just poison — it's a tether. A way for her to manipulate and control her victims."

Valery rose to her feet, her fiery gaze locking onto Sen's visor. "We need to move carefully. She's not just trying to lure us into the blizzard — she's using these people as tools. If we chase her without understanding how she's doing this, we'll play right into her hands."

The Shadow Novice watched with awe as The Grand Master began to draw out the infection of the dark side from the poor Farmer. Watching her work, her command of The Force to calm and reconstruct his senses from this violation was a great privilege. She had concured with his notion to show restraint and not give chase to the villain that had gone out into the storm, that it was baiting them to enter a field that would cloud their senses in more than one way.

When her curative measures had been successful she then spoke of the most alarming realization yet. If she could control this one Farmer, she might have dozens or more under her power on the planet, which meant that they were not facing one solitary Dark Lady, they were facing a potential unknown amount of combatants who would die for her in their obsessive state. While Grand Master Noble could preform the mending of minds, it was unclear if greater bonds in this sick display could be cured so easily. They needed an antidote to tether on the chemical side.
"Master, do you have instruments on your ship that we could take a closer look at the samples? If we could somehow synthesize a means to eliminate the potency of the substance she is using as a tether, you would be able to reach their minds more swiftly, and perhaps en masse, neutralizing her horde of lovers."

He was not a scientist, though The Force was their ally, and if they could somehow ensure that these bespelled could somehow he severed from this Bogancraft, then that would go a long way in helping prevent unnecessary casualties. The element of surprise was no longer theirs, The Sith knew they were planet side, they needed to change the game, to not as Grand Master Noble said, "give them satisfaction."

Valery exhaled slowly, her amber eyes flicking toward the barn doors as she processed Sen's words. The storm outside howled with renewed vigor, carrying with it the sense of an unseen enemy waiting to strike. The realization that this Sith could control more than just a single victim added an even greater weight to their mission. They weren't just fighting one opponent — they were facing an entire network of twisted, manipulated souls.

Her gaze returned to Sen, her expression firm yet thoughtful. "If this substance is part of how she's controlling them, then finding a way to neutralize it could give us a significant advantage."

Valery rose to her full height, her fiery presence radiating calm authority. "My ship does have some basic analysis equipment — enough to study the sample you collected and identify its properties. With any luck, we can figure out a counteragent or at least weaken its potency." She looked down at the farmer, who had stilled under her influence but remained visibly shaken.

Her gaze shifted back to Sen, her expression softening slightly. "We'll need to move quickly, though. The longer we wait, the more time she has to strengthen her grip over this region. But we'll also need to stay cautious. She's expecting us to rush in without a plan, and we can't give her that advantage."

Valery knelt down once more, placing a gentle hand on the farmer's shoulder. "We'll get you out of here," she promised, her voice steady but warm. Then she glanced up at Sen again, her tone growing sharper with determination. "Let's get back to the ship and start analyzing the sample. Once we know what we're dealing with, we can figure out our next move."

Sen gave a nod to all the above of Grand Master Noble's suggestions. They needed haste and yet a plan, and so it behooved them to get to the Ship. The Barn door was wide open, and Sen helping Master Noble escort the Farmer back to his home, there his Wife rife with worry to him in and showered him with kisses as she took him to the stove to get warm. Sen turning with his visor to Master Noble, then headed to her Ship, there the ramp descended, mostly likely at her command, and he went up the beveled long metal up into the ship and began his search for instruments. There he found a microscope, and some helpful tools to examine the substance. He placing the cup with the liquid he had taken from the Farmer's lip on a sample slide, and sat it in a metal box, as the computer began to do scans, and deduce what the properties were.

As they waited, Sen decided it was time to take off his mask, to get a better look. His glowing blue eyes turning to the screen which was at 65% collating. His bangs of gnarled black swaying as he looked at Master Noble,
"Our element of suprise is slightly ruined. She knows what you look like, but not I. Perhaps when we visit the palace, you can be the bait, and I maskless, and different clothes could play the part of the assassin. Though.. I did not get a good look at her, so we will have to identify what she looks like. Did you get a clear view? I only could see a swirl of red, which I surmise is hair"

The Sith had been bold, and sought to take away their advantage. Though such boldness came at a price, they knew it was a she was the intel had said, and perhaps enough to go on to recognize her when they went to the city. She also had showed her hand, that she could control others with her spell. This was meant to act as a shield no doubt, to make them hesitate invading her territory, when in reality it gave them more information in order to defeat her. If the computer could identify the properties of the sample, they could create a means to neutralize it, and in effect remove one of her fangs. She had gamble with a Grand Master and a Shadow, and she would reap the consequences.

Valery stood beside Sen, her arms crossed loosely as her fiery amber eyes watched the screen display the scan's progress. The faint hum of the ship's systems filled the air, a calming counterpoint to the tension that lingered after their confrontation in the barn. She had sent a brief message through the ship's communications, ensuring the farmer and his wife would be monitored remotely for safety while they focused on their mission.

When Sen removed his mask, Valery glanced over, noting the glowing blue eyes and the sharp, thoughtful expression beneath. His words brought a faint smile to her lips, though her expression carried a weight of seriousness.

"Bait?" she repeated, tilting her head slightly with a playful edge to her tone. "I suppose it wouldn't be the first time I've had to draw a Sith's attention. But you're right — the fact she's seen me puts us at a disadvantage. Your plan could work, but we need to approach it carefully."

Playing bait came with risks, after all.

She paced a step away, her gaze drifting to the ship's viewport. Outside, the storm still raged, lightning flashing across the sky like a warning from the planet itself. Her voice softened slightly as she replied to his question.

"I got a brief look at her, yes. She has striking red hair, and there was something about her presence in the Force — it felt chaotic, wild, but calculated at the same time." Valery turned back to face Sen, her tone resolute. "We need to dismantle her tools and expose her before she strengthens her grip on this region."

The computer chimed softly, signaling that the analysis was complete. Valery stepped closer to the console, her expression tightening as the readout displayed the substance's properties.

"What does it say?"

he prospect of dangling a Grand Master on a hook to this Sith was rather unnerving. Sen was a Shadow, though his level in the Force was only on the verge of a Knight, still learning at Kashyyyk Shadow Temple. Valery Noble Valery Noble had the most optimal chance of slaying this foe, and yet she was the one spotted, and the only way to return surprise to their hand was to have her be noble and risk herself. Sen would have to prove that he could sweep in and dig a Shoto in this Sith Scum's neck, perhaps there was an alternative.
"Another idea is that I try to seduce her, she not knowing my face. I confess that charm.. is not really purview of a Mandalorian nor a Tuskan."
He smirked, wrinkling his cheeks.
"Or perhaps I could get her to try and make me one of her collective. I must admit the idea of being a slave to her is.. not appealing should we fail."

Master Noble spoke of a paradox in regards to their enemy, calculated chaos. That made her a double edged blade, and added a unpredictability to to her behavior. Which meant they needed to think outside the box if they were to defeat her. The Collating had reached one hundred percent and the data was beginning to stream on the the screen, Sen looking at it said,
"Interesting.. it says there is a great amount of pheromones, in fact, it seems these pheromones when released into the body subvert the frontal lobe, and seize control of the Limbic system, making one have excessive desire.. desire for her. This is a potent power Grand Master.. it means she can rewire minds, and with the Force, perhaps the dark method of dominating minds.. there is no telling how much of a hold she can get on someone.."

Sen for the first time felt fear, someone using such chemical messengers and the Force could potentially take control of an entire planet. Val was right, if they did not hasten, she could turn all of this world into her slaves and they would be fighting a army. And if she got off world, and was loose in the galaxy.. well then she could turn an untold amount of masses into her servants and drive worlds mad. The Jedi Shadow leaning back in his seat, then turning to Master Noble said,
"We cannot chance her getting off world.. we may need to disable our ships. In fact, that may have been the main objective of her visit all along.."
The Shadow had not felt this kind of fear before, his encounters even among The Hutts had not disturbed him. This on the the other hand was an entirely different affair. He had heard of Sith invading and compelling minds to give up information or to break their enemies. This was a love spell that could not easily be shaken, and while he was realitively sure that Val would be able to resist, he was not certain about himself...

Valery's expression shifted as Sen spoke, her fiery amber eyes narrowing thoughtfully. She listened carefully, but when he proposed seducing the Sith as part of the plan, her head tilted slightly, and her lips quirked into a faint, almost amused smile.

"Knight Kai," she began, her tone even but carrying a touch of her characteristic warmth, "I appreciate the creative thinking, but I don't think that's a battle you'd win. If her power relies on seduction, manipulation, and the ability to dominate minds, then walking into her game on her terms isn't just dangerous — it's playing directly into her hands."

Her gaze moved to the readout on the screen, the words painting a grim picture of their opponent's capabilities. The Sith's pheromones and dark influence could tear apart someone's sense of self, twisting even the strongest wills into submission. Valery's voice softened slightly as she stepped closer, placing a steadying hand on his arm.

"This is her strength," she said, her voice carrying the weight of her experience as a Shadow. "It's what she thrives on. But I've spent years learning how to shield my mind, to guard my thoughts and emotions. She can't dominate what she can't touch."

Her hand dropped as she turned to face him fully, her determination burning bright. "I'll play the bait," she said firmly. "I'll draw her out, let her think she has the upper hand. While she's focused on me, you'll have the opening to strike. It's risky, but it keeps us in control of the situation."

Her fiery gaze met his, her voice steady but encouraging. "You've been trained to move unseen, to be the shadow that strikes when the light is blinded. This is where you come in. Trust in your training, and trust in me to keep her focus long enough for you to take the shot."
