Strengths:
  • Built in Weaponry: The Illyrian armour suit has several built in Sonic weaponry devices for Alix to use should she find herself without any of her usual weapons.
  • Energy Shielding: Beyond the Illyrian's regular function as physical body armour, it featured three Energy Shield generator projectors (located in the chest, and leg armour plates).
  • Holographic HUD: The suit featured an armoured face guard which provided a Holographic HUD system that monitored her armour, vitals, and could interface with various weapons to provide ammo readouts. It worked in conjunction with the sensor built into the back of her armour to warn of incoming attacks outside of Alixandra's line of sight.
Weaknesses:
  • Limited Kinetic Resistance: Due to the nature of Cortosis, repeated kinetic strikes to the area's containing the material could render its protection useless.
  • Limited Coverage: The Illyrian does not cover every inch of Alixandra's body, leaving her Thighs and upper armours vulnerable to attacks once the Energy Shield goes down or is not activated.

Upon joining the ranks of the Lightsworn, Alixandra commissioned the creation of a new set of armour. Thus The Illyrian Armour suit was born. Featuring a white and gold color scheme, it provided Alixandra a unique and functional look. Giving her both defensive and offensive capabilities alongside her usual weapons.

The face plate of the Illyrian armour suit fits snugly up against Alixandra's face, providing her additional protection from attacks aimed at her head, while also projecting a Holographic HUD just in front of her face.

The Illyrian uses a mixture of Durasteel armour plates with Cortosis reinforcement to protect vital organs, while Haysian Smelt provides both detailing and some level of protection against electric based damage. It also features several built in weapons, sensors, and energy shield that are not immediately visible or recognizable to the untrained eye.

Hey there. Great to see someone using this armor from the game. Really good looking piece. However, there are some things that need to be addressed.

Your current listing of ratings, is extremely over powered on the scale. To me, it seems there are no real hard counters for this armor other than acid, and Pressure. Otherwise, everything else you have rated, is either High, or Very High ratings for all of them. I do not feel comfortable at all with letting this get approved when the ratings of the armor are far surpassing any form of balance.

I admit, you do have some weaknesses with having exposed skin like the face, thighs, and arms. However, that weakness alone does not make up for the extremely high ratings that you currently have. So here are some recommendations for you.

  1. Keep all of those resistances, but just reduce the "Very High" Ratings down to "High." While providing another weakness to your Weaknesses section.
  2. Keep all the resistances as they are, but will have to add plenty of more weaknesses within the weaknesses section to compensate.
  3. Reduce most of the Ratings down by one to be in a balanced state, and keep the rest of the submission how it is.

Limited Lightsaber Resistance: While The Illyrian armour suit did contain Cortosis reinforcements in various places, repeated lightsaber strikes were capable of cutting through the metal.
With your current rating of "High" resistance against Lightsabers, this weakness does not match up. Secondly, Cortosis is extremely resistant to lightsabers and blasters to such a degree, that even the smallest amounts introduced into an armors construction could make it highly resistant to lightsabers. Instead, I would refer you to change this weakness to be Kinetic based. As Cortosis is well known to be piss-poor at defending against kinetic based impacts. Namely because that was legit, the only way someone could Mine the stuff. By using jackhammers and the like.

Force: High.
Finally, I cannot find anything on the submission that would be able to protect you from the force. Even the Energy shields you linked do not protect against it. Am I missing something somewhere in the submission?

No worries, I was running through the resistance calculator and it still seemed to state my armour was underpowered with the stats I had, so... I was rather confused but just rolled with it. Figured if it was not correct, someone could help me fix it.

Lowered several resistances, changed over the weakness for the Cortosis. Wasn't... particularly sure what other weakness to add. With the Force one, wasn't 100% sure if that meant the Force or just someone applying force. But dropped that one out now that it's clarified. Only real reason I had the limited lightsaber resistance, was that in the article for Cortosis, it mentions repeated lightsaber strikes or blaster bolts will eventually get through it. Let me know if anything else needs changing.

The calculator can help. However, a rule of thumb I use, is for every "Very High" I should have a "Very Low" or two "Low" Ratings. The ratings is just a coin with either side being your higher or lower stats.

And yes, while you are correct with cortosis being "shaved" off, that could be said of beskar, and Phrik as well. They are not immune to Lightsabers. Just really resistant to it. Secondly, The wiki can be altered by anyone who signs up and does the research. People are fallible and thus, the site can be wrong, or be skewed. I use it as a base line, but not as "The word of God."

Thank you for providing the edits. Enjoy your Armor.
