Quick and Simple TLDR Summary:
Greetings, from Admiral Pagaarch
Short Overview of Idea:
As you might have known I had posted about a faction interest check for an Imperial Splinter Faction. However things have changed for the faction from my original idea and I wanted to give you an update and the possibilities that you might have within the faction if you decide to join. So for a starter my original idea was to make an officer lead imperial splinter faction, but I have since realized that the NIO had already done this. So the faction has switched into being the successor state to the Imperial Remnant and the Pentastar Alignment of Powers.
I figured it would do us well to have a faction that is the imperial remnant of the website, not directly competing with the NIO for membership but simply having a different ideology and way of doing things than the NIO respectfully. The current ideology for the faction is what I would like to call Imperial Democracy, to difference ourselves self from the NIO and the GA Factions on the website. The faction will allow you to make your own stories within the Imperial Concordat, without being tied to a hard core story line that has to be followed exactly.
Imperial Democracy?
What is "Imperial Democracy" you might ask within your head at this current time. Imperial Democracy refers to a system in which a strong central authority protects independent regions which have a democratic system in their governance through the Chamber of Planetary Governors and functions much like a Real Life Hegemony might. The Imperial Side of this is that while the state guarantees personal liberties and the ability to govern your own world, the imperial state still can pass laws and enforce order through either compromise with planetary governments or through armed forces if necessary.
Combining the strong imperial authority of the New Imperial Order with the democratic values of the Galactic Alliance, into one unified system that can operate efficiently and effectively in order to ensure the protection of the imperial state and its citizens from hostile powers near them and regional hostiles such as pirates and crime syndicates.

Factions within the Imperial Concordat
Now you might be asking yourself, where does my character belong within the faction. We have several sub-groups that your characters can be apart off and experience the story that we are currently trying to make. Down below will be the faction name and something about them that might interest you enough to consider joining the faction. Please comment down below if you have any questions about the faction or wish to join but aren't sure were you best fit.
The Imperial Sector Armies:
- Do you wish to be a regular trooper or enjoy invasion & battle threads. Then the Imperial Sector Armies are the right faction within the concordat for you as within it is the Imperial Army and the Imperial Navy of the Concordat. They are the backbone of the Imperial Concordat and without them working to ensure public safety and patrolling the supply lines to ensure financial stability of member worlds, the faction would have no way to enforce its claim to its rightful territories and would suffer from invasion. So if you are a private mercenary or solider with experience, a fleeter looking to roleplay or an officer. This is the right faction for you.
- Do you have a character that can engage in intelligence gathering and undercover missions. Then the Imperial Strategic Information Bureau is the right faction within the concord for you. They are publically the law enforcement & intelligence agency responsible for uncovering spies and monitoring individuals within our space to prevent acts of terrorism. But unknown to the public is that they are the secret police force for the Joint Chiefs of Staff to monitor everything within the concordat and report back to them. So if you are a spy or assassin, or intelligence official, this would be the right faction for you.
- Do you have a character that is more political salavy and can make a room applaud you with a single speech. Then the Chamber of Planetary Governors is the right faction within the concordat for you. They are the legislative branch of the Imperial Concordat and make laws that affect the entire faction as a whole, it is composed of two chambers. The High Chamber which is comprised of governors who oversee several planets within the concordat and the lower chamber, which is the largest of the two chambers because it houses the representatives elected by the people of their individual worlds. Laws passed within the lower chamber will be sent to the High Chamber for a single round of debate through a majority vote system among the Imperial Governors present, however the minority will still get some concessions for voicing their opinions on the floor and making a strong argument for or against a law. So if you are a renegade senator, representative of a world that wants to join the concordat or have enough influence to get yourself selected for the Chamber. Then this would be the right faction for you.
- Do you have a character that wishes to lead the Imperial Army or Navy or is good with massive bureaucracy. Then the Imperial Operations Command is the right faction within the concordat for you. IOCOM is the executive branch and the judicial branch of the faction and oversee the massive bureaucracy of the state, meaning that they handle trade routes, economy, imperial supply lines, resources, transportation systems, nationalized industries and other programs that are essential to the continued function of the Imperial State. They are also responsible for keeping personnel readiness, policy, planning and setting training standards for the Army and Navy Respectively of the Imperial Military as a whole. Thus they can be considered the second most important organ of the state after the Joint Chiefs of Staff within the entire Imperial Concordat of Powers. So if you are a expert within bureaucracy or have experience in the military, this would be the right faction for you to join.
- Do you have a character that is a force user and doesn't fit into the factions mentioned above. Then the Imperial Order of Justices is the right faction within the Imperial concordat for you. IOJ is the official force using organization of the concordat that accepts both, dark, light and neutral users of the force. They are the countermeasure to the force using units of the other factions within the galaxy. As a secondary duty, they serve as the protectors of the Chief of State and members of the Planetary Governors Chamber through their Protection Detail Unit. The goal of the order is to keep the faction together and provide stability while also being called in to settle disputes between member planets within the concordat. Most importantly is that they view the force as a balancing paradox, which is when the dark side is too strong within the galaxy, the force responds by boosting the light side and vice versa if the light side is too strong within the galaxy. So if you are a master force user and are looking for a place to belong outside the traditional sith or jedi orders, or simply looking to use a force using character within the faction please consider joining this order.
- Do you have a character that is looking for leadership position within the faction of the Imperial Concordat or is good at running a faction. Then the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the right faction within the Imperial Concordat for you. The JCS can be considered to be the Moff Council of the Faction, running the faction and having the highest authority within the faction other than the Chief of State of the Concordat, which is the official title of the leader of the faction. So if you have a character that knows how to run a faction or has experience leading, then consider this an option for them within the Imperial Concordat.
- Do you have a character that is the ceo of a company or organization that handles manufacturing of various things. Then the Imperial Industrial Council is the right faction within the Imperial Concordat for you. The IIC is a council composed of all the industrial big wings of the faction and the lesser companies, they direct the flow of trade and their decisions are highly respected by the Chamber of Planetary Governors when passing new economic laws. The companies and organizations that join the council will also face less industrial regulations as long as their quotas set by the government is completed in a timely fashion. So if you have a character that knows how to run industry and is a ruthless businessman, please consider joining this faction.
- Do you have a character that runs a mighty crime syndicate or pirate group of some kind. Then the Imperial Guild of Outlaws is the right faction within the Imperial Concordat for you. The IGO was formed as part of a strategy to combat pirates with other pirates and save the military from having to do it so they can focus on other matters that can be considered more important. Acting as legal contractors and buccaneers licenced by the Imperial State to operate within their borders. So if you have a character that wants to run a crime organization or pirate group and operate within our borders without being cracked down by the military, consider joining this faction and plunder your rivals and suffer no consequences for doing it.
These are just some of the factions that you can consider having a character join at this stage. We will possibly add more factions for you to join in the future. So once again if you are interested in the Imperial Concordat as a faction and possibility for stories within the Imperial Concordat as they are endless.
