[*]Description: The Imperial Mission is a non-militaristic organization dedicated to the spread of Sith and Imperial ideals within the territory of the New Sith Empire. Once a population has been pacified and cleaned of dissent, the Mission is tasked with proselytizing the populace with rallies, mandated propaganda, eschewing everything non-Imperial, and performing other acts of service such as education, literacy, social justice, health care, and economic development.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
- Hierarchy:
Pontiff
The Pontiff is the government appointed leader of the Imperial Mission, and holds the term for life or until he is dismissed by his Imperial masters. His official duties include the appointment of Consuls and the organization of the Mission's territories.
[*]Consul
- Consuls oversee sectoral areas (one map hex) within the Sith Empire, and appoint Lectors to administrate the Missionaries within a single star system.
[*]Lectors
- Lectors are given oversight of an entire star system and the missionaries in them.
[*]Missionaries
- Missionaries are the common members of the Imperial Mission, and are tasked with carrying out the organization many duties across the Empire's vast expanse.
[*]Volunteers
- Gentlebeings who take time off to serve the Mission and help those in need who are not considered official Mission members.
[*]Membership: Membership in the Imperial Mission is highly inclusive, with Missionaries being recruited from all walks of life. All that is required of them is a dedication to the same ideals they preach, which is taught to them through rigorous education sermons alongside other useful skills. Literacy and an education up to the second level is also desired among Missionaries.
[*]Dogma/Doctrines: The Imperial Mission subscribes to the Sith-Imperial political-religious philosophy of the New Sith Empire which advocates a strong centralized government, Imperialism, the superiority of the Sith Code, and firm Anti-Jedi sentiments.
[*]Curios: All Missionaries can be identified by their pristine white robes and tunics, golden emblems, and their leather-bound tome detailing the full intricacies of Sith-Imperialism.
[*]Goals: Proliferate the spread of Sith-Imperial ideals among the citizens of the Empire, and generally improve the average citizen's state of living.

The Imperial Mission finds its roots in the ancient Fel Empire founded by High Moff Jagged Fel of the Imperial Remnant as a part of the Victory Without War program, a campaign in which the magnanimous High Moff sought to peacefully spread Imperial influence to the planets affected by the devastating Yuuzhan Vong War (25 ABY - 29 ABY).
Even after his death the program was perpetuated by his son, and later his grandson Roan Fel. It was during this time that Darth Krayt usurped leadership of the Fel Empire in the aftermath of the Sith-Imperial War (127 ABY - 130 ABY) and was crowned Galactic Emperor on Coruscant, establishing the galaxy's second ever Galactic Empire. Krayt allowed the Imperial Mission to continue in its duties with very little change in their directives, and it wasn't until Darth Wyyrlok's attempted assassination of Darth Krayt that the Mission's parameters would be altered so that Missionaries would simultaneously spread the Sith Code alongside the already existing Imperial ideals.
However, after the Second Imperial Civil War (130 ABY - 138 ABY) the organization was disbanded entirely due to its manipulation and abuse by the One Sith, and for hundreds of years was never reformed by any Imperial government.
That wouldn't remain true for long as during the resurgence of the One Sith in 837 ABY the Imperial Mission was revived by Sith Lord Kaine Zambrano, better known galactically as Darth Vornskr, to serve a similar function as it did during Darth Wyyrlok's reign. Despite the One Sith's defeat in 849 ABY the Imperial Mission continued to exist, albeit directionless and scattered as various successor organizations in the Core Worlds. It wouldn't again be revived in totality until the rise of the New Sith Empire in 850 ABY, again by Kaine Zambrano (this time going by the moniker of Darth Carnifex) to continue its dark 'mission'.
