SOCIAL INFORMATION
Hierarchy: Like most Military Organizations, the Imperial Revenant maintains a rigid chain of command, and much like the Sith organizations throughout history, the reigning Sith Lord and his confidants sit at the pinnacle.
Darth Orthus controls the Revenant with absolute authority, a totalitarian dictator who uses a combination of fear, respect, and apparent benevolence to control his followers. Beneath him are three Apprentices, the Hounds, whose authority varies depending on the mission or which one is currently held in high favor with their Master. While officially considered above Marshal Jerrod, in practice they are forced to answer to or respect his authority more often than not when dispatched alongside him.
Marshal Lev Jerrod and Governor Kotus Tik’kla answer directly to the Dark Master, jointly filling the day-to-day Leadership roles. Both share military and civilian responsibilities to a degree, with Kotus controlling the local and corporate assets of the Imperial Revenant while focuses more on external entities. Because of his military experience and expertise, Marshal Jerrod acts as the Second-in-Command of the organization, the public face of the regime while its ruler remains in the background. Governor Kotus addresses the Revenant often, a true believer of the Dark Master’s vision.
From here the command structure is divided into the Military and Logistics Sectors, separating the branches required to keep the group functional into more easily organized groups. The Military Sector’s ranks are broken into separate branches for the Armada, the Stormtrooper Corps, and the Starfighter Corps, each with military stylized ranks however the position of Commander holds significance in all three branches, indicating the highest ranking officers for any individual branch. General or Admiral are interchangeable titles, indicating the leader of a joint task force or larger assortment of units. Vice Admiral or Major General and other similar titles are associated with members of an overall leader’s command staff.
The Logistics Sector uses ranks such as Administrator, Director, and Supervisor to denote authority while the vast majority are simple industrial workers. Of the Logistics Sector there are scientists, medical personnel, and engineers who work in think-tanks under a Project Director to design or develop new technology, oversee the production of clones, or experiment with genetic manipulation.
Membership: The Imperial Revenant consists of loyalists to Orthus’s cause of assisting in maintaining order and limiting the chaos and destruction caused by each successive transition of galactic power. They are drawn from loyalists who fled the crumbling One Sith Empire with the Dark Master; clones bred, grown, and raised by the Junta; subjects obtained during the organizations exile in the companion galaxies; and willing recruits approached by the Cult to join or ally with them.
Normally the cloned forces, while raised and conditioned for loyalty and obedience, are taught critical thinking, and treated fairly well within the Revenant. Orthus believed that a leader would be far easier to follow and more difficult to revolt against or betray if that leader was legitimately benevolent to his followers. He attempts to adhere to that ethos as best as possible.
Influence: The Revenant’s political influence is limited to itself, as it does not seek rapid expansion or domination of other cultures. Its insular to its nomadic fleet and what few holdings it has for resource appropriation. During its exile in the Rishi Maze, the Revenant was known to raid planets and subjugate primitive species for temporary labor forces, but lacks any permanent territory.
Climate: Patriotism is rampant and encouraged through controlled media propaganda and social support, unity under the omniscient Dark Master and the upholding of Imperial Ideals through service to the community. For the most part, people within the Revenant can expect to find work, are fed and sheltered, and even given some level of comfort. Additional comforts can be earned through hard work or talent no matter the field. There is some glorification of the military component of the Revenant, seen as the quickest measure to advance oneself in society.
Despite all this there is some fear of the regime. Its leader, Darth Orthus, is seen as nigh Omniscient, able to divulge the secrets of those in his service and an exceptionally powerful Force Sensitive. His favor is strived for by those within the upper echelons and his acknowledgement is seen as a badge of honor to the lowest dreggs. Power and authority are granted by the Dark Master alone and are his to strip away. Under his guidance the Revenant has been able to provide all who join it with prosperity and protection, encouraging their lifestyles, and providing opportunities to better one’s status.
Few have the courage to speak against the Dark Master or the regime directly, and while the regime allows some criticism of its operation any direct opposition is swiftly cut out and censored. One can inform the regime how to operate more efficiently under its framework, none can seek to overturn the regime or harshly criticize its methods.
Reputation: The Revenant is mysterious and quiet, having remained in the shadows and operating from outside the political view. It doesn’t want to be widely known and its leadership tries to maintain relative secrecy in regards to outsiders. Outsiders don’t need to know or want to know about the Revenant unless approached is the official stance of the government.
Rules: The Revenant follows a modification of classic Imperial laws, similar to the New Order and the Galactic Empire, however the social conventions against aliens and chauvinism did not survive within the Imperial Revenant. Socialism and ascetic values were enhanced and service to the community glorified and heavily encouraged, even rewarding service with amenities and freedoms based on the quality of the service provided.
Doctrines: The Imperial Revenant is a highly socialist community, ensuring that its members basic needs for survival are met while requiring all of its membership to benefit the society in someway. Service to the regime results in more amenities, freedoms, and benefits awarded to members with higher ranks providing greater influence, promoting quality of service over blind loyalty. The regime uses rewards, honors, and propaganda to promote patriotism and loyalty.
The Revenant is built around the principles of preserving the Imperial Lifestyle, built around a strong unified central leadership, advocating the authoritarian and militaristic social and political culture. The Revenant is fairly minimalist, believing that the bare essentials are the core of efficient service and service results in reward. Fetes and galas are reserved for those who have earned a higher rank, been awarded medals or honors by the military, or made some technological advancement that benefited the Revenant worthy of notice. Even some artists and philosophers are recognized, though only those that support the Revenant’s ideals and the regime.
Several of the New Order’s cultural components that did not survive were Humanocentrism and chauvinism, denouncing the exclusionary policies of the ancient Empires, and instead supporting competency and merit above anything else. Each person within the Revenant would be built on their own merit and hardwork, their own talents and abilities, regardless of background.
Rather than prejudice against aliens, the Revenant focuses on prejudice against outsiders, allowing for the subjugation and enslavement of beings that refuse to acknowledge or respect the regime’s edicts. Harsh political dissidents, some outsiders, and political reformists are often quietly removed from the populace. This is justified by the mindset that outsiders are removed from the enlightened consciousness of the regime, and are often unwitting agents of chaos and suffering, defined by greed, rather than service to their community and thus are beneath the citizens of the Revenant.
Because the Revenant did not build a Sith Order within itself it would not suffer the internal power struggles many of its predecessors did, condemning Force Users not aligned under the Dark Master. What few Force Users there are other than the Dark Master’s apprentices are formally trained and segregated form the populace. They sometimes lead small, less important missions to carry out Darth Orthus’s will, much like the Emperor’s Hands of old.
Goals: Preservation. In simplest terms the goal of the Revenant is to survive; to endure and prosper. Officially it seeks to preserve the imperial way of life within itself and expand only as required by its necessities. The Revenant seeks to be a haven under the reign of the Dark Master.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
During the chaos caused by the One Sith Civil War, some loyalists to the Dark Lord found their faith shaken by his death, or seeing an opportunity to remove themselves from the rule of the One Sith before the Dark Council took over rulership of the expansive empire. The deserters fled under the leadership of Rear Admiral Lev Jerrod, taking what resources and forces he could muster and taking them into the Unknown Regions as quickly as he could. He made off with a number of scientists and engineers, grabbing up several think-tanks the Dark Lord had created in order to advance his war machine.
During their escape they were found by another Sith, Darth Orthus and his three apprentices, Cerberus, Siv, and Hextor. At first Jerrod believed they were there to bring his fleeing forces back into the fold, but instead the four Sith joined him, directing them into the Rishi Maze rather than the Unknown Regions. There they could thrive for a time, without drawing the attention of the One Sith or the other governments of the galaxy.
During the initial phases, Orthus quickly assumed control over the group, declaring his vision for the future and the gateways to prosperity through his mouthpiece, Kotus Tik’kla. Together, the three of them built a society around them, focusing on uniting the beleaguered Imperials under the mystic’s control so that he could direct them with his arcane powers and ancient wisdom. While Orthus does not seek dominance over the galaxy, he did see the usefulness of possessing a force of dedicated and loyal servants. He and his Regime built a cult of personality around the Dark Master, attributing much to the shadowy dark master who ruled from relative seclusion as he guided the Imperial Revenant into the next age through careful manipulations of fate while working to benefit his followers, encouraging them to serve each other even as he served them with all his ability.
The Imperial Revenant started slowly, cloning a new army and preparing a new fleet for them to expand and live upon. Before long they had begun raiding planets from their homeship, Erebos, building new vessels and rearming themselves.
