Malia Afredane
Captain, The Grey Warden
Name: The Iralia Citizenship Center
Classification: Detention Center
District: Fairview Heights
Location: The Iralia Center is located on the edge of Fairview Heights where it borders the Palace District.
Description: A tall angular building that matches the glass and prestige of the rest of Fairview, the Iralia Center is deceiving to the eye. It is one of the many detention centers operated by the DfR. The tower houses offices and class rooms for citizens who have been summoned for a reminder of Imperial doctrine. However, beneath the street level, the structure is a massive prison complex where some of the most outspoken critics of the Empire are kept permanently. It has many layers of security and an underground entrance which masks the building's true purpose to the rest of the citizens in Fairview Heights.
Thousands of prisoners and guards live and work beneath the facade of prosperity and wealth over their heads.
History: Named for a former Empress, the tower was originally built as a satellite office of the DfR once the Palace District was finished, however, the project's subterranean structure was dug in while the Palace District was under construction so as to hide the massive scope of the facility. Many citizens know it as a place where minor infractions are dealt with by crisply clad Reeducators. Many never have to visit the glass and cement facility but all know where it is.
