The Jedi Lambdon?

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
In the legend of the Lambdon worm, the story goes that a man, John, must slay a foul dragon/worm, which has the unfortunate ability of being able to heal any wound, even to the point of reconnecting severed chunks of itself. This makes it nigh invincible.

To counter-attack, a witch guides John into welding spikes all over his armor, to hold the dragon in place. She tells him to fight the worm in the middle of the river, which he does. The armor performs beautifully, holding the worm in place while John hacks away every piece of it - the river carrying each piece away before the worm can heal itself.

So that got me thinking. What is there to prevent Jedi from doing the same thing?

What do you mean? How to stop a jedi from healing mid-fight? I'd imagine a Force-null would work best. Although I don't think healing mid-fight is that much of a problem.

Hm. Well... that would be really bulky. To cover it in saber blades you'd need a literal fethton of emitters, emitter matrices, and related lightsaber parts. Unless you refract the beam outward to make one matrix work for several emitters, but that's a sketchy design that may not work properly or even be wearable. Honestly, you'd be better off making Kirk, the Knight of Thorns' armour using something like phirk, songsteel, beskar, or cortosis-woven duraplast.

Practically, no, it's never gonna work. But the concept....
