The Jedi Temple on Yutan
Name: the Jedi temple on Yutan
Classification: Jedi stronghold
Location: The building is located in the wilderness of Yutan. Surrounded by a forest the temple with its rather isolated position has created the necessary infrastructure to communicate with the rest of the planet but without taking ta too prominent position in the planets citizens daily life.
Affiliation: The Republic Jedi Knights and their force students.
Description:
Arriving to the temple is either done to the small private landing area or via planetary shuttle transports.
The space craft landing arwa located a kilometer away from the temple area. the landing is large enough to recieve up to four crafts of freighter size or one larger ship, like a frigate. From there a speeder or walking is necessary to arrive to the actual temple.
The temple holds a prominent garden of great beauty where the knights have a chance to mediate and focus in between their many duties around the galaxy. With each and every corner of the garden neatly cared for its center truly holds one spectacular site, a tree imbued with a strong light side presence of the force. Here force sensitive often start their journey to re-connect with their inner calm and tranquility when arriving to the temple before continuing further inside.
In direct proximity of the temple a Republic Army barrack can be found. This was errected by the Republic in an effort to strengthen the temple should hostilities reach the precious few jedi the Republic still had at its disposal at the time of the resurrection of the temple.
The temple building itself is a large ancient structure holding signs and symbols carved into its walls from a jedi order long lost to the modern era. Yet the symbolism is a constant reminder to the visitors of how the jedi once could stand united under the flag of democracy and freedom and against darkness. Something that is a vital idea for its present inhabitants.
In its lower region the temple generators and maintenance area is found. It is populated mostly by service droids but technicians are found working here as well.
It is also in the cellar where the communication and surveillance room is located. From here Republic Knights monitors and keep in touch with the various ships and jedi embarked on missions throughout the galaxy.
The first floor holds a welcoming reception, the only place with cushioned chairs and a few comfortable sofa's spread around. The reception is always manned by a jedi assisted by a protocol droid.
Behind the reception several corridors span over the floor leading to various locations.
The main training area, a large open air courtyard wihere jedi focus on their physical training.

The archives. A room resembling a library brought forth from the old times.
Two lecturing rooms, one for a group of up to 20 persons and a second prepared to hold an assembly of up to 100 persons at once.
On the first floor you will also find bedroom cells for over a hundred persons, most rooms are meant for jedi knights and their students but a few guest rooms exist as well. Visitors will however have to adapt to a very simple life and little luxury is offered here.
On the second floor is the dining room located. Here only jedi and students of the Republic Force Enclave normally ventures. While meals are granted at any time of the day there is a join breakfast and dinner time when everyone are encouraged to take the time to eat together in order to relax and enjoy some social life.
The dining room is large enough to function as a third lecturing room for another 100 persons should the temple be hosting more students then normal times allow.
Here on the second floor is also the council room and the Grand Master's office found. Both rooms are extremely sparsely decorated with little but seats provided. In a third room is a large meditation chamber where with a domed ceiling where Mantic Dorn has placed the Muntuur stones for as long as the Temple remains in Republic hands.
This training room is meant for advanced training and challenging the past masters in force lifting and focus.
The third floor is the actual roof of the temple. You enter an open area allowing for free sight over the surrounding forest. Here is a place for conversation and relaxing in a simple milieu but with an astonishing view.
Attached to the second floor a bridge leads to a second building, the hangar.
Defenses:
At any given time, around 100 Republic Knights.
20 Defensive turrets - spread around the temple perimeters they are kept hidden in brushes and meant to offer a surprise. These are manned by the Republic Garrison.
A company of Republic Marines is stationed just nearby the temple. their mission is to patrol and safeguard the Jedi temple perimeter.
10 Oversight and recon droids that patrol the surrounding forest aiding the Republic soldiers deployed to withstand any surprise attack on the temple.

History:
The history of the temple is held in great mystery. While there are signs that it was errected sometime during the first formation of the jedi order it seem to have held its heyday sometime during the prime of the Galactic Republic before the reapearance of the sith Empire.
The temple sufferd a diminishing role after the temple on coruscant and the large structure soon had to be partly shut down. Over time it lost its purpose and was abandoned until the present Galactic Republic restored its connection to the planet. the newly formed Republic Knights decided to make this their new home and base of operations as they were tasked to protect the Republic as well as manage the Republic force Academy.
With the installation of the Republic Knights on Yutan the planet was given a new rush of trade and interplanetary revival and so the jedi, despite living in the desolate temple, was a welcomed sight at this time.
Intent: To create a main base for the Republic Knights to operate from.
