The Key to Protection

Vulpesen smiled as he stepped across the platforms of the wroshyr trees, and into the office of a certain [member="John Locke"]. He'd heard of the man and his abilities to produce armors through the grapevine, some of his men expressing an interest in his skills. Thankfully, such rumors had come at a time that the Valde was caring about such matters. The Vitae Security Forces were growing, in both weaponry and population. While the VSF did have a few weapon factories, their main concern was personnel, thus leaving many of their equipment needs to be covered by outside contractors. For this reason, Vulpesen had reached out to Locke. Hopefully he would be able to secure such a contract to ensure that his men stayed safe as they worked to protect the galaxy from scum and villainy.

The office on Kashyyyk was a new one, technicians still bustling around the building, upgrading the treehouse John had claimed for his offices from a standard treehouse into one that befitted the technologist that was planning to occupy them. Despite the work being done his staff were settling in, bustling in and out of the rooms the sound of conversations and light of holograms peeking through the doors as the dark-haired cyborg strode towards the door, one hand rising to greet [member="Vulpesen"] as a smile touched the man's face. "Vulpesen I assume? It's good of you to stop by...I'm sorry about the mess, we're still in the middle of moving up here from the temple. Please, this way," he gestured back at a room towards the back of the treehouse, "We can talk in the...well my lounge." A wry smile touched John's lips, "having a place to relax was the first thing I asked them to set up."

Vulpesen smiled at Locke's easy nature as he greeted him. It certainly aided in his confidence as he strode over to the man, following him into the lounge while listening to what he had to say. "You must be Mr. Locke. I assure you, I'm well accustomed to the mess of moving in. And suddenly, I regret not having my personal quarters renovated first when I retook my home." Slipping into the lounge, Vulpesen looked around, his hands folding patiently in front of him. "Stars know I could have used the reprieve a time or two."

"Trust me, when you move around as much as I do, the first place you look for in any new home is a place I can relax and unwind...well you know, as much as I can get away with." One foot flicked out behind them as John caught the edge of the door with a well-practiced manoeuvre, sliding it shut as he gestured towards the nearby couch. "Can I get you something to drink or a snack while you're here? It's not like I have a lot of options but I think I saw someone sneaking some pastries into the fridge earlier."
