HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Knight Codex has existed for as long as the Knights of the Empire were known as the Force Corps. An order of Imperial Force Users who operate in similar facets to the Jedi Commanders and Sith Warriors of old. They are foremost soldiers that eschew the religious platitudes of the Jedi and Sith, instead teaching self-improvement, both in the physical, ethereal, and the mind, while placing the utmost importance on dut and servitude to the Empire’s people.
In the wake of Operation: Kyber Dark, many Knights fell in the costly victory. Because of this, there was a need for remembrance, especially in the space of time when there was an amnesty period.
From the minds of the Cleric Chapter newly instituted on Bastion, the ‘Chronicles of the Knights’ became an addition to the Knight Codex. Employed as a way to pay respect to those fallen Knights of the Empire and as a way of studying famed Knights and their exploits. It also, to a lesser extent, is used as a way to propagandize the Champions of the Empire internally within the Knights’ Order and the Empire as a whole.
