The Knight Errant

So, Veino Garn. My most established character bar none and for the most part, my favorite to write with. I've managed some incredible threads and stories with him at times. He's gotten a lot of scars and wounds in that time too, some physical while others emotional. But I've lost the connection with him that I once had. Not entirely sure why, so I'm looking for other people's opinions. Plus with some stuff going on, the muse for him has faded, although some new possibilities have occurred that I can play with, when working with his empath state and relationship with the Force.

What makes Veino... Veino? Have you noticed the disconnect the way I have? What do you like? Dislike?

Funny thing is that Veino, living in Yumfla now as a Warden, lives right next to the ocean. But a fun beach thread could be something to reconnect through.

And trust me, I don't need any new characters. Already writing about five or so, and I have considered having him fall, but it wouldn't work in a traditional way. He really doesn't have the capacity for enough of the hatred and anger to drive him there. It's really hard for him to have those feelings when he feels everything the other person is feeling as well, which creates a very strange sort of compassionate intimacy. It also makes him vulnerable to being overrun by those emotions, which could lead to it.

Thanks for the response!
