The Knights Training

Atrace fiddled with his lightsaber, he was bored, training opportunities were rare for him he would take whatever he could get. He stood In the large empty room, His skin pale and scarred from many injuries each telling its own story. His injuries severely impaired his eyesight and hearing on the left side of his body. He took off his robe to begin his warmup.

Atrace began his warmup, he wanted to be ready for when his master would arrive. Once he felt that he was satisfied with his warmup Atrace immediately began to meditate. Not only did he have to prepare his body for training he also had to prepare his mind. Atrace would meditate until his master would arrive

A wise man once said, "Don't extend yourself further than your arm's reach." Perhaps there was some truth to that saying but for Darth Venefica, that saying was as water-downed as the Jedi teachings. Only through knowledge, wisdom, and understanding could one achieve what the Force had laid out before them. As a Sith Lady, Master to those that chose to offend her with such a label, it was her duty to see the Order of the Sith flourish and rise to astounding feats.
So when a Knight, not some mere Acolyte, had requested to study under her; to learn her teachings, did she find some amount of amusement in this. Sith Knights where the backbone and the warriors of the Sith Order. Knights of the Sith were expected to not only defend the Sith Order and the Dark Lord but to take the fight to the enemy; be it Jedi, Mando, or something unseen.
However, unlike her colleagues she didn't shun away those that wanted to further their education. In fact, she encouraged it. So she put her projects on hold to see this Knight for herself. Was he worthy? Was he truly engulfed by the Darkside? Did he wish to face death's judgment if she deemed him unworthy? The answers to those questions remained to be answered.
She entered the the room and saw the Knight lost in a deep meditation trance. That was his first mistake. All Sith were taught to never leave themselves vulnerable. Even if he was to react to her presence as a threat, he was already dead before he made his first move.
"Foresight. Hindsight. Preparation of the unseen. This is something you should always consider," she spat. "Death wears many faces....and the most chosen face is that of one that holds the same belief as you."
"Now tell me why I should consider you worthy of my teachings? Because by showing vulnerability....you have expressed weakness."

He stood to face the sith lord before him. He looked the master of the force dead in the eye and said. "Why would I consider myself worthy? My entire being is consumed by hate, I want to watch the republic burn for hunting my brother! I find joy in making people hurt! My life is nothing but hate. I believe I am worthy of a Sith Lords teachings because of my immense hate because of my determination!"

He felt that the Sith Lord before him was displeased by his first impression. He still however stood without fear before her. He studied the Sith whom stood before him. If she were to find his answer insufficient he would be dead before he could even react, this he knew for certain.
