The Last Confederate

Herr Vanderhing and his stooge Genf Orkay landed on the planet Tattooine accompanied by to battle droids, they had some very private business to do with a Jawa gang in Mos Eisley. The Neimoidians paid the driver and told him to wait where he was for them to come back so he could transport them to Geonosis. The Neimoidians both hated the decadent city. It certainly wasn't any colony on Cato Neimoidia but they still had to go and find the Jawas so forward they marched through the city.

TV-113 walked the streets of Mos Eisley. It would have left yesterday, but needed to pick up some things before it travelled. No one really questioned the droid, except for a small group off the road. Literally, small. A small group Jawas took note of it. None of them recognised the make but could tell it was old. Its design looked like that of the Trade Federation or the Techno Union. The blue did look familiar. it was obvious what the decision. TV - 113 continued its trek, but was stopped. One of the Jawas jumped in the way of the droid, saying something it did not understand. The droid gave a simple sweep of its hand.
"Out of my way." It droned, moving to walk around. This was cut off by another Jawa. This one, though, had a stun gun, firing at the droid.
"Wha--" Blue energy pulsed through the droid, its drone being dragged out.
Error: x000060006 - immediate shutdown imminent
The droid collapsed on one knee as everything shut down. It face planted into the dirt of te road with a dull thud. The Jawas all gathered around the droid, lifting it (With much effort), and bringing it to their base for a business deal.

The two Neimoidians stood in a small alleyway getting extremely impatient... The Jawa gang was late. Herr Vanderhing was getting particularly annoyed

"Where are those stubby little thieves!!

Genf Orkay cut in on his impatient boss and said

"I'm sure that they just stop to sell spare parts"

This didn't calm Vanderhing down

"They better, because if I find out they skipped out on me... I'll use their hoods to throttle them!!..."

Then the Jawas walked into the alley way carrying a large blue droid, seemingly an antique Vanderhing payed no attention to it though. He was only interested in one thing, he only wanted the money the Jawas thought that they could steal from him

"WHERE'S. MY. MONEY!?!?!?"

The Jawas understood him perfectly but they then huddled to together and spoke jibberish to each other then put the droid in front of him.

(Sorry, was at work...)
TV - 113 has no discernable features about it that made it stand out from any other prehistoric droid. That was, except for the scrapped remains of the confederate logo on the left of its chest. The droid's paint was scratched and rusted, otherwise.

(It's fine I've been at a party)
Herr Vanderhing looked at the rusted droid then looked at the Jawas

"Really!?" He asked "Do you really expect this pile of tin to be enough to replace the hundreds of credits you lost me?!..."

The Jawas started panicking, they huddled together and started speaking jibberish again until finally one ran up to the droid and reactivated it. Herr Vanderhing looked on in confusion and with a sarcastic facial expressions as the droid powered on

A jumble of speech came out of the droids mouth in a mix of languages. The eyes flickered.
System reboot, program file I-15 active.
The droid's eyes became a solid yellow color.
"Unauthorized tampering of a Confederacy of Independent Systems drooooid..." its voice dilated as its program finally began working. It rose to its feet.
"Memory not found." It droned, standing with its arms folded behind its back.

Vanderhing stared and listened to the droid something it said flared to him the Confederacy of Independent Systems statement. Once he heard that statement he saw and heard opportunity. The Jawa that turned it on spoke into what roughly translated to

"Th-th-this is a CIS droid see?! It has to be worth something!"

The Jawa shivered as an idea formed in Vanderhing's head. Instead of speaking up he merely stood and stared at the droid and shook his head to make it seem as though he didn't want it.

"Error 7-77, memory unreachable. Shut down." The droid deactivated, folding up into the usual deactivated droid position. It sat down, hugging its knees to its chest, its head folding down.

@Herr Vanderhing

He ordered that the Jawas give him the droid and half the credits they owed. The Jawas panicked and huddled back together. Then one Jawa walked forward got on his knees and begged attempting to explain that they didn't have the money he merely looked down at the sniveling Jawa for the moment and said

"Fine I will accept this droid as payment for your thievery. Now try and reboot it Jawa."

The Jawas were all shocked at this as well as overjoyed and thankful. The Jawa that was in his knees got up and ran over to the droid and attempted to try and reboot and remove the error in the droids systems

(Edited: Sorry it posted as my writer account and it won't let me change the post)

The system booted up, finally getting a backup of the memory. the droid came back to life, rising to its feet.
"-- Of course, General Grievous, I have searched this ship front to back. The Malevolence has no... Where am I?" It asked, looking around at all the inhabitants of the room. The droid's memory booted up the last uncorrupted file of memory, its last conversation with General Grievous. Within a split second, the droid narrowed down it was not on a ship, but on a desert planet. Tatooine, based on the structure it was in.

Herr Vanderhing didn't have the typical Neimoidian accident. His voice sounded shakey and somewhat human with a sort of muffled Neimoidian accent. But he looked a bit like Nute Gunray and Genf looked a bit like Rune Haako this caused him to assume they may be their ascendants on more than one occasion. This gave him an idea as he started saying a typical accent

"Good evening droid I am Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and this good man next to me is Rune Haako"

Vanderhing nudged Orkay

"Oh-oh yes, I am Rune Haako and we have come to this planet to retrieve you from these Jawas"

The both stood anxiously waiting for a response

The Tactical Droid folded its hands behind its back.
"Ah, Viceroy Gunray. I do not recall us talking, or me being here, but perhaps my memory systems have fallen into disrepair. If you could remind me of what we were talking about?" It droned, not in the slightest suspicious. It may be a tactically adept droid, but that didn't make it intelligent.

The Neimoidians both glimpsed at each other and smirked. Then Vanderhing said

"We weren't having a conversation here droid you were talking to the general when the Malevolence was hit by a Republic cruiser causing you to hit a wall and shut down. As the malevolence shifted left and right you slid into an escape pod and it got accidentally launched into space where it crash landed on this planet: Tattooine. The Jawas found you saw the CIS symbol, contacted us, and we felt as though we should come personally"

The Neimoidian that the droid thought was Nute Gunray put his right hand on the droids back and pointed his arm towards the door urging him to follow "Rune Haako" to their ship

The droid followed compliantly with no questions. Its system did note that several gears and locks were not responding correctly, but it wrote those off as its tumble. The droid also noted that it was NOTICIBLY rustier, but perhaps it had been lost for some time. it thought no further on the matter.

As "Rune Haako" and the droid walked off "Nute Gunray" stayed and thanked the Jawas for the droid then he too walked off leaving the Jawas both ecstatic with joy and confused over Vanderhing's uncharacteristic generosity. As Vanderhing limped through the hallway he heard the joyful cries of the Jawas, then two of Vanderhing's battle droids walked into the room and Vanderhing only heard blaster fire as a small grin appeared on his face as he limped towards the ship.

TV - 113 entered the ship, its joints at their limits. They contracted and screeched slightly as it moved to a seat.
"I seem to be in desperate need of repairs in general..." It noted out loud. Once it had taken a seat, the droid looked to 'Gunray'.
"Sir, if I may ask. How did you know about the Malevolence, as far as I know, only a choice few knew its existence, you not among them?"

The Neimodian sat down. Then when the droid made the comment both of there eyes widened "Nute Gunray" quickly thought of his knowledge of galactic history and said

"Well I'm a part of the Confederate high council I know most things about the confederacy, also you mentioned it when you rebooted"

[member="TV - 113"]

The droid folded its hands. It looked out the window at the passing space stations in orbit, and into space.
"Quite. Well, formalities aside, may i ask where we are headed, sir?"

"Nute Gunray" looked over at the droid and said

"We are going to Geonosis the new capital of the Confederacy....... When, we get there I have some, things I must explain to you..."

"Rune's" head perked up then he darted his eyes down
