The Last's Dance was

Father's weapon he used as a concealed weapon in public places, his father had asked an acquaintance to make it for him. His father gave it to him when he was dying as a farewell gift so Tony could protect himself as he was going to escape from Dantooine. At first the gauntlet was a simple deployable blaster but Tony went and upgrade to make it more reliable and better. He then named it The Last' Dance, after his Father who died when he was attacked during the dance session of the Boleoti Event.
