- Unit Name: The Legion of the Damned, The Legion
- Affiliation: TSE, Tyrian
- Classification: Special Forces
- Equipment: Various, No Standardized Equipment
- Availability: Rare
- Deployment: Limited
- Strengths & Weaknesses:
[+]Proactive: The Legion does not have to wait for orders. Unlike other units within the galaxy the Legion does not hold itself to a particular structure. Though there are commanders and orders, members of the Legion are very proactive. They will take whatever course they have to in order to complete their mission, often finding creative solutions to problems that others would not consider.
[-]Control: Unfortunately, due to their nature, the Legion can be somewhat difficult to control. Since these men and women were once prisoners their nature tends to be one of independence. Often the members of the Legion consider combat 'rules' to be more guidelines, their engagements can get messy and their missions often come with an extra bonus that most commanders would rather avoid. Most missions undertaken by the Legion end in extra casualties.
[-]Cut-Throats: Members of the Legion are cruel, bloodthirsty, and deadly. The men and women within this unit are not kind, they kill and get carried away doing it. They are hard and harsh, often ignoring discipline and breaking ranks when opportunity strikes them. In the field this can be an extreme risk.
- Description:
Tyrian Allara acting on orders from the Sith Pureblood Yidhra attempted to form a group capable of aiding her in the endeavors she was setting forth on. Though Yidhra had managed to collect several former Military units aboard her Flagship the Udraitor, the soldier was well aware that most of these soldiers were either greenhorns, or veterans too stuck in their ways to do the jobs that would eventually need to be carried out.
So, to supplement these troops Tyrian formed a plan.
Before the complete Fall of The Empire, Tyrian set out across many of the worlds within the Caldera.
He visited Dromund Kaas, Korriban, Athiss, Thule, and even worlds recently conquered from the dominion like Serenno. Here Tyrian did not go to the planets Governors or their leaders, instead he bypassed them and visited the worlds Prisons. There Tyrian found what he was looking for.
The Soldier did not seek out the disciplined and well trained, he did not seek out the loyal, instead he sought those most thirsty for blood.
In the lowest ditches and the deepest cells Tyrian found the soldiers that he required. From Isolation cells and torture halls he dug them out, taking each and making them and offer; Leave here, fight for me. Those that took him up on the offer joined the Legion of the Damned, those who rejected him were killed. Within a short time Tyrian collected a small army of both men and women, vicious criminals whom even the Sith had deemed too rotten for society.
It is these people that form the entirety of the Legion of the Damned. They are the broken dregs of society, the chewed out and broken, the scarred and cut. The Legion stands not as a bastion of liberty and justice, no, they are the bloody. They are the ones who get their hands dirty.
Members of the Legion have no mercy, they have no loyalty, they have only a desire for blood and vengeance.
The Legion is a broken, disgusting reflection of a military unit. They are the worst of the worst, pulled out from the gutters to serve whatever purpose Tyrian sets them to.
