A water-covered gem
Wrought by oppression
We must intervene!
FREEDOM
A world of extreme importance, Mon Calamari must be freed from the Sith Empire.
WORLD
Covered completely in water, Dac, also known as Mon Calamari, was the homeworld of both Mon Calamari and Quarren. Both species had disagreements, yet usually worked together in order to further the planet's prosperity. While many of its cities were underwater, the planet did have some floating cities that allowed for offworlders to trade and communicate with the people of Dac.
The most important aspect of the planet from the perspective of the galaxy at large was the massive shipyards surrounding Dac.
STRATEGY
Freeing the people of Dac would both deny the Sith Empire access to the planet's shipyards and while giving the Republic such access.TACTICS
However, Dac has several environments that might require attention from the Republic. The floating cities and securing the Mon Calamari council's safety would be one thing. In fact, those more tact in diplomacy could hopefully convince those that continue to side with the Empire to switch to the Republic. The shipyards could also be boarded or attacked from space in order to secure its weaponry.
The operation encompasses the entire planet. Republic fighters could be stationed anywhere.
HONORS
The Republic honors its heroes. Those that fight valiantly for Dac will be recognized. Jedi Padawans will face their trials through the battle itself - proving their ability to be a Jedi Knight. Soldiers and fighters will demonstrate their ability and earn the promotion their deserve. The most valorous Republic member in the Liberation of Dac will be recognized as the Savior of Dac. There is no higher honor for this fight.
